Lovely stay. Redstone was beautiful. However, no cellCoverage at all in area, which could be good and bad. Awesome internet coverage for cell calling.

This beautiful log home was perfectly located to explore several mountain communities. There were three very comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and two decks for taking in the scenery. Our hosts have decorated the home with hints of their favorite places, and it felt like staying with fellow travelers. We highly recommend this home as a spot to explore Redstone, Marble, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs.

The property was great very well stocked and clean, everything was well laid out in the welcome book and everything was kept up nice and neat. Really the only 2 negatives were the smell of pot(believe it was from the neighbor)and the other was probably are fault and turned out to be no problem but Jack and his wife do live in the basement under the property. It was listed but kinda hidden under his profile. Again was not a problem but something to be aware of. We loved our stay thank you Jack.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

We spent 4 days in Redstone to relax and take in the mountains. The house was a perfect home base as we visited Aspen, Paonia and Carbondale. We cooked quite a bit and enjoyed the deck and fully equipped kitchen. Recommend for a small group looking for some quiet and amazing views.

Beautiful home in an idyllic setting

Jack's house is gorgeous and an oasis in an idyllic setting. The view from the hot tub is second to none and the house is extremely well stocked. We loved the restaurants in nearby redstone especially propaganda pie. Jack does live on the ground floor but was very willing to relocate for the week which we appreciated. Overall a beautiful home for a remote vacation.

Beautiful home in an amazing location. The house itself is not right along the Crystal River (not really feasible to walk to it), but it’s quick drive down the road to a natural hot springs. All the amenities were as described. We had a great stay!

Idyllic setting

This is our second visit to this lovely cottage which is nestled on a forested lot. We enjoy the tall trees, different birds, views of the mountains from the outdoor hot tub. This log cabin is the perfect retreat, driving distance to Glenwood springs and Aspen yet far enough away for peace and quiet.
