Excellent Place to stay

Super cute apartment, huge bathroom that is fully stocked if you forget something. Bedrooms are massive the stairs were steep but the place is on lake around the corner from Six Mile Marina. Plenty of parking for 2 boats 2 trucks. The owners were so sweet .

The Perfect Spot❤️

The place was clean and cozy, the neighborhood was quiet and there was a peacefulness about it. There is also a neighborhood boat launch around the corner and there is a public boat launch by the 6-mile bridge about 3-4 mins away.There are two great diners nearby, there is 6-mile diner around the corner from the house, and It also has its own boat launch right on the side of of the diner, but I think that you might have to pay a little fee to launch from there. What's great about that boat launch is that you can pull your boat up in the back of the diner, go and have a nice lunch and then get back in your boat and go fishing. There is another diner, Sportsman Cafe, and it is about 2-3 mins away. Sportsman Cafe is my fav. There is a Family Dollar about 2-3 mins away as well. Mr.Mark and Ms.Sheryl were very helpful when needed and they were always available. I texted Ms.Sheryl, I think that it was after 11:30 pm, and I had not noticed the time, and she answered. All in all, we had an amazing stay. Thank you Ms. Sheryl and Mr. Mark for everything. Oh, and the neighbors are great as well, I dropped my debit card and the neighbors found it and returned it. Great hosts, wonderful location, and great neighbors.

Fishing trip

6 mile getaway

An absolutely fantastic stay. Clean, easy to find and perfect for me. Mark and Sheryl are wonderful hosts and very accommodating, the use of their grill and patio area in the evenings was just great. The company was very welcomed as well, from talking with the both of them to just hanging with their pets. Even though I was there for "work", it was a very home like feeling at the end of the day! Thank you both for having me. 5 stars all the way!

Great time on Toledo Bend

Mr and Mrs Davis are excellent hosts. Great outdoor location for kids. Outdoor fireplace in covered patio and plenty of outdoor cooking options. Small refrigerator, microwave, and Kurig inside rental. We had a wonderful visit to Hemphill and the Columbia Museum.
