Close enough to Ft Polk for a visit

Great place for a fun family gathering with our soldier sons on base. Rented a pontoon and found great swimming spots around the lake and even off the shore of the property. Thanks for a great holiday weekend.

Great for big groups

We rented this cabin because we were celebrating my daddy‘s 85th birthday. It had lots of space and everyone was able to have a bed to sleep on. Great property and a beautiful view.

Best camp on Toledo Bend

Perfect place to relax and fish. Everything you need is on location. Boat launch, good dock fishing if you don’t have a boat. Close to Toledo town if you forgot anything.

Great place to relax with a beautiful lake view

The roomy accommodations were great for our family of 7 adults and 1 baby. There was lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was well-equipped with cookware, utensils, dinnerware, and appliances, and the bathrooms were well-stocked. We enjoyed the sunrises and serenity of the lake.

Pure Relaxation and Fishing Fun

Our family stayed four nights at Da Camp in May. It was so relaxing and the fishing was fantastic! All you need for a great stay is right there. The guys and gals caught fish and the others read and relaxed. We have already booked our trip for next year and are anxiously talking about it, as my daughter will have a new baby to enjoy while there. Great spot for a family get away!

Da Camp

Everything we was looking for. Boat launch in the back yard. Dock to fish off at night. So many beds the boys tryied them each out. Peacful place.

Lakeside Cabin

Beautiful lot and plenty of room. We had everything needed in the kitchen, but the pictures listed misrepresents the property. The property is much more dated than indicated online.

annual trip to the Da Camp

Family made our annual trip to Da Camp. Went later this year and it was hot, but Da Camp did not disappoint. We fished, skied, tubed, swam, and relaxed. I am waiting for my Dad and Brothers to let me know when they want to go back next year. We enjoy it every year and every year it just gets better. Susan takes care of us with any problems that might come up.

Family fishing trip

My husband and father in law have stayed here a few times. For my first time I was hesitant but the property was exactly how it is displayed in the listing. We had the best time. The home was perfect for our big family and the location on the lake was beautiful! I absolutely loved the sun room and would sit there often in the mornings and evenings! * I would however let you know if you do not have a boat it is very hard to rent a fishing boat but a pontoon is very easy to rent! We will definitely be back!

Camp is nice enough. Shows some signs of age which is normal. Outside grounds were not very well kept. Lots of limbs on grounds and grass not cut. Watch your head at the cleaning shed....very low overhead clearance.

Da Camp

The property was adequate. It needs some work. The dock had a rotten board on the walkway that someone could have stepped through and the whole thing is really weak. The lawn could have been cut before our arrival. The neighbors need to do something about their dog barking all night long. Will not be staying here again.

The rotten board was discovered right after your stay and was replaced immediately. Since you were able to reach out to us a few days prior to your stay to ask for an early check-in for your party of (8) guests, we are puzzled that you did not reach out to us during or right after your stay to alert us about the board, but rather chose to report it through your review, which published 2 ½ weeks after your stay. We have a grass service that comes out on a regular bases. Sometimes the weather interferes with their schedule. This could have been the reason. The grass was cut shortly after your departure. We have not had anyone complain about a dog barking. They usually bark to protect their owners or warn others to stay away. Unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate your request for an early check-in for your party of (8) guests as there were prior guests checking out that morning and the cleaning service needed the allotted time to clean and prepare for your arrival.
