The room was extremely noisy all day every day with jackhammering outside the window. No pool!!!!!

The pool area and the whole deck were under construction, so the sliding door was locked closed with a large under construction sign. We kept the curtains closed the whole time due to the workers and unsightly view.

Back to the beach

We have been to Marco Island several times but not for the past several years. It was like meeting an old friend. The best beach in Florida and wonderful dining options made our return very special.

Nice getaway

Condo was nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Nice garden area with pool nearby. Short walk to the beach. Amenities: Great Italian restaurant with sunset view. Nice lunch and bar area to eat at during the day. Practical gym. Resort could have potential for improvement if they re-opened the spa, or offered room cleaning service. There are no washer/dryers on the premises. Had to take clothes to laundromat which wasted an afternoon.Overall, very comfortable stay, quiet rooms, grounds were well-maintained.

Marco Island vacation

We really enjoyed our time in Marco Island and had a great stay in Ken’s unit. It was clean, well maintained, and we enjoyed the ease of access to the beach, pool, and parking. We especially appreciated the outdoor space with this rental! We return to Marco Island yearly and would gladly rent this unit again.

Nice location great beach

The unit was nice though small. Close to lots of great eating spots. Owner should inform renters that they can rent blue stripe umbrellas and chairs for the week without lugging chairs and such down every day. The bed was very soft though many may like that.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at Ken’s condo. It was well equip, clean and very comfortable! The location was great, with nice restaurant options in walking distance. Thank you Ken for the great place to stay to enjoy our vacation! Looking forward to returning again soon!

Nice Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I had a very nice week at this property. It was very clean with nice amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. It is within an easy walk to several very good restaurants. We would definitely return to this property. I wish that there was a full size fridge with freezer but the mid-size fridge does suffice. Also, remember your beach towels as there were not any near the pool.

Nice place but.....

I expected to be able to see the ocean from our unit as it was listed as "Oceanfront". The restaurants in the resort were closed. It would have been nice to see that they close during the summer. We could only see trees and bushes. Also, because we booked through VRBO, we were not eligible to use the facility amenities such as the beach lounge chairs and umbrellas that the resort sets up on the beach each morning. We had to bring down the chairs and the small umbrella to the beach. Garage parking was nice. Room was nice and clean.

Our favorite stay in Marco!

We’ve stayed in Marco annually, including in the Marco Beach Ocean Resort, and this was our favorite. The unit itself was so well stocked with everything we needed and more, it was very clean, and it was absolutely perfectly located in the building. We loved having the back patio and the easy access to the pool right out our back sliding door. We had a few questions for the owner and he was wonderfully responsive and helpful. A home run stay that made our family vacation perfect!

July 4th getaway

Property was just as described, very clean. They provided plenty of towels and blankets. Check in was very easy, The patio was very convenient only thing was the people above not sure which floor drop their cigarette butts onto you patio area. I imagine it’s hard to control but not very considerate of for your property. Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Beach Chairs & Umbrellas

Before we booked, we asked, Ken Hulse, the owner of the unit, if chaise loungers and umbrellas that were pictured on the website were for our use. He said “yes because he is an owner”. We also asked if we must put up the umbrellas ourselves. He said “no”. This was important to us since we are not able to carry beach chairs and are not able to put an umbrella in the sand - we are two senior ladies! Much to our disappointment, we were not allowed chaise loungers and umbrellas. We were told you must have towels that are blue and black which Ken did not provide us with in our condo. We called Ken and he said he doesn’t provide us with that privilege. He lied to us at time of booking! We booked two weeks & never had access to the chaise loungers & umbrellas on the beach. We will never book from Ken again!

This gorgeous one bedroom, one bathroom condo is located on the 5th floor in the luxurious Marco Beach Ocean Resort! The Resort Garden Terrace has Amazing sunsets! This is a privately owned condo so we provide ample towels and linens for your stay. We also provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler for cold drinks. You will have full use of the resort pool, chairs, health club and spa. There is also a hut directly on the beach where they offer water sports, umbrellas and lounge chairs for a rental fee. And of course, the resort would love for you to spend money in their restaurants and bars. You will just need a credit/debit card as there is no charging to your room. Dine at the famous Sale E Pepe's fine dining restaurant, a spectacular beach side restaurant . Also the beach bar just off the pathway to the beach. You have your own private, covered parking garage, kitchen with full size stove, microwave and refrigerator. Other restaurants, shopping and movie theater is within walking distance.
