Excellent apartment! The location was perfect. There's a supermarket across the street and a Walgreens on the corner. The L station was a 5 minute walk. There are several great restaurants within walking distance.

The Gaegae VRBO is gorgeous inside, very comfortable and the host is exceptionally responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!

Very nicely appointed apartment. Extremely clean. I met Lilian on the property and she was delightful. We had a couple questions while we were there and she was quick to respond and very accommodating. Enjoyed the backyard garden area. There was a bit of confusion upon checkin about which unit was ours, as there are more than one at the address. But other than that, it was great. We appreciated the available toiletries in the bathrooms. Fixtures and linens were clean and fresh. Fan in the bedroom was appreciated. AC worked great for the warm days we were there. My husband and I are two-pillow sleepers, so some extra pillows would have been great, but we made it work. Convenient location to the El and a grocery store.

Wonderful hospitality!

Clean, quiet, tastefully decorated. Beautiful arts and crafts throughout the spacious apartment. We had made an error in booking - scheduled ourselves to leave a day early. But Lilian made it work! We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable apartment in Rogers Park

We were a group of older women and our only real complaint -- the owner was lovely, extremely accommodating and the apartment was well-equipped. It was up three flights of stairs and could have used good hand railings. But we coped and very much enjoyed our stay.

The Clark

Very nice attractive apartment in an excellent location. Lillian is very accessible. Shoes should be allowed to walk up stairs. Also, apartment door threshold is very high leading to much tripping. If you chose to watch ESPN or any movie channel you need tokprogram in your own password

As a Superhost I’ve addressed every detail in our units to provide the best comfort for all of our guests. As for our SMART TV, cable television isn’t as much a necessity considering most guests have personalized accounts for Netflix, Amazon Prime video and various sports packages. As for the shoe policy, I’m surprised that a concern was expressed considering Horace and his guests wore shoes up and down the stairs without hesitation even though they book the reservation which stipulated a “no shoe policy”that he agreed to. Furthermore, after Horace reached out to me to help him download ESPN, I noticed that all 8 windows were wide open with the A/C running. At that point, I politely asked him to please choose one cooling preference and he choose to close all the windows. However, once I set him up to watch ESPN with out any issues, he opened the windows and ran the AC for his entire stay. We are only as good as our guests. I’m extremely mindful and respectful of our guests and expect them to reciprocate it with our property. My very kind regards, Lilian

Rogers Park Gem

This property is even more charming than the pictures! Lilian was a pleasure to work with and thought of everything. The apartment is immaculate and we felt right at home. There’s a grocery store across the street that has anything you’d need while you’re here. It was in a good location for us to go out exploring in a different direction each day. We would stay here again. WB
