This was the best little house that we have ever stayed in. We just love the character in this home. It was a nice distance from downtown but not too far out Ubers only cost us between 13 and 18. To Go we was very well pleased and we will be coming back.

Great Location, 5mins walk to the POLK L-train station where you can then get to the United Centre quickly or downtown in about 7-10mins. 1 block away from Taylor street which has some great restaurants, shops and food. Beautiful, safe neighborhood (Medical District). The unit is clean, updated and exactly as described. Some nice touches with the coffee pods, chocolates and snacks. The owner is easy to deal with and responsive. Would stay here again. no complaints.

Clean, Convenient, and Relaxing

The space is well kept, clean, and spacious for its age. Place is well stocked with essential stuff and sweets. Parking on street can be a challenge in the evenings although there’s a spot in the back. If you have a Suburban size SUV it probably won’t fit in back. It is a first floor of three so you’ll hear the other tenants. It’s a great space for a getaway in town. For whatever reason a different address is in the check in info but it’s at the one where the key is, apparently it’s common enough a problem the other address has a note saying go away. Neighborhood seems safe, partner and I walked to United Center without worry multiple times.

This property was perfect for a family stay in Chicago. Easy short walk to the pink line and busses which we utilized. John provided a parking pass and spot behind the residence for our vehicles which was much appreciated! Kitchen had necessary items for meal prep and tons of snacks, teas and coffee pod options. Would definitely stay again.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Chicago. Die Straße, in der sich die Wohnung befindet, ist sehr schön und gut gelegen. Direkt in der Nähe befinden sich der Bahnhof Polk (Pink Line), die W Taylor Street mit Restaurants und Bars und ein größerer Supermarkt (Jewel-Osco). Die Wohnung als solches ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben dort gefrühstückt und auch einmal gekocht. Wir hatten insgesamt ein schöne Zeit dort!

This is a lovely, spacious townhome, and Taylor St. in Little Italy boasts an impressive variety of delicious ethnic food. The owner answered the phone when I had questions about the check-in process as well as having answered my earlier questions about the bus line and Pink line "L" train to Chicago attractions. The beds are very comfortable too!

Quiet and Safe

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood in Chicago and is conveniently close to public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The property manager was helpful and responsive throughout our visit. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Lovely Little Italy

Beautiful rental, beautiful neighborhood. Safe, free parking, air worked well(we are from Texas lol), good water pressure and temperature. Loved the little treats for us and loved our stay. Host very respectful and responsive. Great proximity to downtown and easy, close access to highways. Very close to Little Italy that had great restaurants and charm. Loved it!!

Would definitely stay again

Very nice, clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and space was adequate for 5 of us. Would recommend grab bars in showers but otherwise we loved it. Safe neighborhood.

This was the perfect place for our family of 6. We loved being in a historic building and still fairly close to the city. There was a parking space for our van which was also a huge plus. John was great to work with. It was really one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in. The beds and bedding were so cozy and the amenities were very professional. We would love to come back!

Lovely apartment in Little Italy

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and well appointed. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely come back when visiting Chicago again.

Graduation trip

Group of 5 stayed in apartment. John's place is exactly as advertised. The unit is well equipped and host is kind enough to supply lots of candy to be enjoyed as well as books about Chicago and games to play. The two bathrooms are kept in immaculate condition and lots of towels are supplied.Overall, a great place to stay in the Little Italy neighborhood with an easy walk to all that is on Taylor St.Would definetely stay again!!

Wonderful apartment and location

The apartment was lovely! We had 3 very comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. He had snacks for us and coffee which we enjoyed. The property was very clean and the location was fantastic! We were close to Wrigley Field, the bean, beautiful parks, and downtown. We also had excellent communication with the owner. Each time I messaged him, he responded promptly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The best VRBO ever!

I have stayed in VRBO properties in the U.S., Europe and Mexicp and this was the best ever! Located in a lovely safe neighborhood this gem came fully loaded with great linens, jars of snacks and treats, a passel of games and a fully equipped kitchen.

Memories to last a lifetime!

We absolutely loved our stay on Polk Street! It felt like home away from Florida for the week, and was quiet and safe. Our family had the best time visiting Chicago and a few cozy movie nights staying in too! Thank you John!! We loved the Chicago feel we had at your place!
