The Richmond

Terrific location for beach getaway. We were looking for a quiet beach weekend. Privacy is excellent yet getting to town and shops was a simple walk. Very relaxing and pleasant stay.

Such a wonderful stay, kitchen had everything you can imagine to cook a great meal, local ign market had the best rib eyes and it was great knowing I could make a meal without no worries! Had a fantastic romantic stay with my husband, can't wait to come back again!

Only complaints are the bed and couch are horribly uncomfortable. The bed was hard as a rock and makes a ton of noise with every little move. Also, no sponge or dish soap for washing dishes. Outside of those things, the property is large, clean, and comfortable. We had an issue getting into the unit because the instructions sebt were wrong but it was remedied with a quick phone call.

Nice place to hang your hat for the day and go enjoy the outdoors. Close to Ocean, rental equipment, restaurants, coffee shops etc...no matter what your interests are you will probably find something to do in this cool little Ocean town!

Bring your own bedding

The view toward the beach was mildly obstructed and the location is far enough off the beach so the sound of the surf is muted but the wildlife was enough to make up for it. Generally very quiet and being on the upper floor adjacent units didn't present a noise problem.

Nice and cozy

Great place to stay. Just remember to bring laundry soap, the cleaning staff said they had none. So the wife didn't trust the linen and towels and washed all of them after smelling them and noticing just a light watery, musty smell, no detergent. Other than that, might be back again. P.S. Didn't use our soap to wash clothes after we left, the wife felt we done did our part !!

Great location. No on-site management

Great location. Close to beach. Nice having the jacuzzi and fireplace in the living room. Well-equipped kitchen (bring your own starter coffee). Problems with toilet and door sticking. We tried to contact office (around 5 pm) but couldn't reach anyone. Washer and dryer on site. We wanted to start towels for housekeeper but sign said 'Employees only'. Please put tv instructions in manual. Overall, good stay.

Great Weekend Getaway

This was our 5th stay at the Judith Ann Inn. Although it’s a bit “out dated”, it’s still an enjoyable place to rest. Audio video system could get upgraded. There were too many remote controls to try and figure out. I think adding privacy patricians on the back deck would be nice. The bed was NOT comfortable at all. Bring your own pillows too, as our King size bed had only one available (all others were decorative). On a good note, loved the vaulted ceilings and of course the jetted tub! Can’t go wrong with that and the view!!! Beautiful sunsets!

Unit needs a lot of maintenance

This unit need a lot of maintenance. Its sad to pay so much money and come to a broken unit. Not enough bedding for the second bed. Not sure if the bedding was washed since there was hair on the bed in the master bedroom. Some of the molding in the room is broken of has huge gaps in it. Won't be staying here again. Sad

Went for a quiet romantic weekend, did not happen...Towels had brown stains and the driers was still running so some of the towels and a robe in the their drying. Bed was not completely made, NO top sheet and no pillow cases. Pillow shams were stained as was the mattress. Dirty sheets and towels in the bedroom closet and broken suitcase stand. Back door was unlocked, and glass missing in a cabinet in the kitchen. No soap or garbage can liners. TH facilities are spacious and the fireplace and Jacuzzi were great, but the the little things and big just made the stay uncomfortable and made it so we just wanted to go home. We not stay here again... called the support number twice and 18 hours later no a word after asking them to have someone follow up with us.

We have been renting this condo for many years, for the Galway Bay Celtic music Feis. My wife and i love the space. Sadly, this year it is evident that regular maintenance simply is not being done. The shower door was broken. the toilet seat was loose. a glass panel in a Kitchen upper cabinet was missing. The BED WAS NOT MADE. The sheets were in a ball in the closet. We washed them. The sliding barn door for the washer/dryer was off its top hinge, broken. The luggage foldout rack was broken. The wall clock batteries were dead. The Richmond room is in dire need of simple repairs to make it livable

We loved the peacefulness. Great ocean view from the balcony on 2nd floor. Kitchen was well stocked. Jacuzzi tub was nice! Easy parking. The couch was uncomfortable & the king bed was very squeaky!! One of the chairs on the balcony was broken & unusable. The inside of the toilet looked like it had not been cleaned in over a month. Other than those things we were pretty happy with our stay!

Lack of communication

The day before we got here I just so happened to read the reviews of the Judith Anne. Majority gave 4 stars and all would say the same thing. A little apprehensive about it, I hoped our stay would be different. It started off not so good. Our checkin was at 4pm and when we arrived we opened the door and the housekeeper was still cleaning and I noticed she was BAREFOOT! Said that they were running behind and that it would be a half hour and we had arrived at 4:15. We went back and waited in the car until we saw the housekeeper leave. Another women who looked to be in charge, stopped and we asked since we were inconvenienced if we could have a later check out. She said that she would let the manager know but should be no problem. My husband brought that up to them when someone texted us asking how everything was. He said so far it’s a 3 star, they then asked why. He explained we should get a later stay for free for the inconvenience. She replied back saying she would have to check with the manager. We NEVER heard back. I see other people had the same problem from reading past reviews. Room looked nice. Went into the bathroom and noticed the toilet paper holder was broken so had to put a roll of TP on the table. They had coffee creamer and sugar but no coffee. The people below us were so damn loud. They had children even though I read that children were not ideal staying here. All day and night we heard running back and forth and talking extremely loud. The patio only had one chair as the rest had two so only one of us could enjoy it. They wanted us to start the laundry but there was no laundry detergent. We did have a nice view since we were on the top floor. The fans and heaters worked, as well as the jacuzzi. The ceiling fan was very loud though. Although the shape of it was difficult especially if you’re tall. It was a nice getaway but we will not be back. It’s odd how they were easy to respond to us on if we needed anything but when it comes to checking out they go ghost silent. I see the previous comments of the owner trying to apologize or explain themselves but nothing will change what we think of this place. And please tell your housekeeper to wear shoes when she’s cleaning 😖
