Peaceful, Beautiful and Comfortable

Everything was perfect. The casita is clean, spacious, comfortable and with modern amenities. The host was kind, helpful and made everything easy. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and THANK YOU for the blackout shades!

New Grand Baby

We were in Gilbert for birth of our grand baby. The Casita is nice and I enjoyed the private access as well as being able to walk our daughters dog around the property. There is quite a bit of artwork, Knick knacks and collectables but as someone who grew up around "sentimental clutter" as my mom used to call it, I enjoyed the vibe.D&D from SoCal

Phenomenal few days

We were very satisfied with the casita. Everything was perfect. No complaints or disappointments whatsoever. Was impressed with the cleanliness, everything that was in the casita, and the surrounding area. Better than any condo or timeshare that we have ever used. Would recommend this to anyone.

Work stay

Everything was so cute and quaint. Very clean, bed was so comfortable. Shower pressure was Amazing! Very quiet and private. Pool was nice and clean. Private entrance was a nice touch. Host was so accommodating. Had everything you needed. Tons of towels, washer dryer, and so roomy. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect Home for a Couple traveling to Arizona

This 1 bedroom unit is spacious, comfy, and just perfect for our trip to Arizona. Owner, Roy, was responsive to all our questions. We will definitely rebook this vacation home. This is 100% better than booking an hotel - separate bedroom with a TV, living room with comfy couches, laundry room, full kitchen with all supplies and separate garage for our car.

Great property

We were there for a sad reason, our sweet Grandmother was passing. We did not get to use all the amenities as we mostly just used this property for sleeping. However, it was very homey and a comfort to come back to each day after emotional days.

Very nice house and casita . Outside is a bit in disarray and not sure where we were supposed to bbq . Overall good ! Inside could have used some coasters , spices, and food storage containers or a cooler to take with you on a day trip .

Roy was very responsive and accommodating! The swimming pool was wonderful and very clean, but the pool chairs were not at all. It was such a beautiful yard, but the outer windows of the Casita were a little dirty, hindering the view. The inside was clean and comfortable, and the bed was comfortable too. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet, though a little past the outskirts of Gilbert City limits. Thank you Roy!

Perfect for our needs

Secure little casita in a safe neighborhood. It was tough to sleep due to the blue and white bright lights on the light switches. It would’ve been convenient to have paper towels, napkins and cooking oil. I was going to wash a load of towels for the order but there was no laundry soap. There area was quiet and peaceful. We didn’t use the pool but it looked pleasant.

Stay Somewhere Else!

The property owner (Roy) had the garage door opener programmed to automatically close after a set time and did not communicate that to us at check-in. While loading our Highlander to leave, the garage door came down on our rear door causing paint damage of almost twelve hundred dollars based upon two estimates we got when we returned home. Roy refunded half of the cost of the damage based upon Chicago area body shop estimates. Roy further indicated he feels no responsibility to compensate us any further for his garage door's damage to our car, which leaves us responsible for half the cost of the repair to our Highlander. There are lots of places to stay in the Phoenix area and I recommend you look elsewhere.

Great place

Needed a place to stay that would allow my dog to have a cool place to be while I was away during the day. Roy was very accommodating. Communication was good prior to arrival. He gave me the my personal gate opener and door code which allowed me to come and go as needed. I had plenty of parking next to the casita for my large truck. The garage was not available, as it was being used for storage, which was not an issue at all. The accommodations were of high quality materials (tile floors/shower, granite countertops, etc.) and nicely furnished. One suggestion for the owner - you might want to remove at least one (or 2) of the 4 couches to allow for more space in the sitting room since it is meant for 2 people. I did not avail myself or the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. The yard was great for the dog, as I all I had to do is go out my front door for his needs. If I am in the area again I will definitely seek your place out again! P.S. the ice and water was a very nice (and needed) extra.

Not as advertised!!!

The problem with reviews are they are never completely accurate. Certainly in this case we were very disappointed with so many things we left 2 weeks early and will not get our money back! AC controlled by owner, bed is a King with pillows stuffed at the footboard inside a California King frame. Laundry and bathroom ceiling vent disgustingly dirty and probably a fire hazzard. Ceiling fans on timers with blue lights is annoying at night. The guest house has a one car garage with owners stuff lining every wall. Our SUV fit but was super tight loading or unloading. The idea of shared space for pool took on a new meaning as his dogs didn't like us back there and lots of barking. A few times all 6 dogs came around from side yard barking at our dogs and us overwhelming at 6am. His back patio is full of collections? Owner works in IT security for Intel which leads to a few oddities which eventually is why we left early. We really felt the owner was listening to us and maybe cameras? Owners attitude changed early in the reservation as we expect he was hearing us bitch about all the stuff that was not right. He has security cameras at front door of casita, several other cameras on the back of his house aiming at the casita. He had some sort of security on the Wifi that stopped us getting to basic sites? The final straw was his slamming the store room door attached to the casita so hard and loud it shook the back wall and bed!!! We didn't feel safe and left early.

Just Right

Needed a convenient place to stay close to a family member's home for a few days. This was excellent location and the casita was really nice and clean. We had a couple of issues no fault of the owner but his responses were immediate.

Lovely One-Bedroom Casita

Very private & secure, in a fenced and gated yard. You will get to use an opener to drive your car through the gate. You can park your car in your own garage if it's no longer than a Toyota Camry. Recliner and reclining seats in leather couches are very comfortable. Complete full-size kitchen. Many interesting artefacts in the decor. Roy is super helpful and pleasant to talk to. 12 miles to the center of the restaurants on Gilbert Drive.

Hoarder's Paradise

It looked like one big garage sale. Junk pushed up against the buildings....pictures do not reflect the clutter that was everywhere. As a single mother with two young adult daughters, I did not feel comfortable staying there. So we left and I forfeited my money, which VRBO and the owners did not return. Stay at your own peril.

Perfect Arizona get away

Clean, comfortable, private, shower pressure great, slept very well. Visiting friends in Mesa & just needed a nice cozy place for rest. Location was great for all needs like groceries & gas, restaurants & so on. Thank you to our hosts
