Overall the cabin provided a greart vacation for our group. There was plenty of space and the kids had blast downstairs with the theater and games. The kitchen was well equipt for preparing meals for the family.

Great Place

Loved the house. I would suggest minor maintenance items be addressed such as pool ques were not good. Really that is the only thing that was not perfect. Great job.

The cabin was very nice as described in the listing but we had issue after issue and the lack of response was unacceptable.Upon arrival on Friday, there was a very strong sewage smell in the basement level. There was also an alarm going off in the basement bedroom that made that room unusable. We called and maintenance did come out. Unfortunately, they were unable to root cause and fix the issue. While the maintenance worker was there, we found a snakeskin and nest material in the pillow in that same bedroom.That same night, we lost power which also meant we had no water in the cabin. We called in and they had us report the outage to the power company. The last members of our party could not get to the cabin due to a downed tree and power line. I understand the weather is out of anyone’s control, but when we called to see if there was an alternative route to get to the cabin, the lady who answered the call was extremely rude and unhelpful. The last members of our party had to stay in a hotel that evening.On Saturday, the maintenance worker returned with an electrician. They said something was not reset properly before we arrived which was causing the alarm sound in the basement and the smell of sewage. They reset it and it did stop the alarm noise. Unfortunately, it did not fix the sewage smell.On Sunday, the sewage smell grew stronger and stronger. We couldn’t stand to be in the basement at all, making 2 of the bedrooms, the game room and the theatre room unusable.

Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback. I sincerely apologize for the multiple issues you encountered during your stay. Sewer alarms do go off at times when service is needed and we can't predict when these times will happen, because we cannot control mechanical breakdowns. It has been serviced and repaired. You are correct there isn't a lot we can do during a bad storm that has blown down trees and power lines and are sorry that the afterhours team wasn't more helpful for you, we have addressed it. I want to assure you that we take these concerns very seriously and apologize for falling short. Thank you for your patience, and we hope we can restore your confidence on a future stay.

Mossy Oak Lodge

Hands down the best vacation ever! The lodge is absolutely beautiful and fully stocked with all you need! The kitchen is gourmet status...I was in heaven!! And to top it off, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas!!!! A 5-star rating!!! The only negative is the drive way,,, a little intimidating at first but after the first trip down it wasn't bad at all. A piece of heaven on earth. The staff and service were exemplary!!

Lovely Mountain getaway

This is the perfect place for a family/friends getaway. There is SO Much room! The pictures accurately represent the home with multiple levels, every bedroom has a bathroom and great amenities. We did not use the hot tub so can't comment on that. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked (although some utensils could use replacement/maintenance). It's very easy to get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg to enjoy all the fun activities. I highly recommend this property!
