Friends get away

We had a nice relaxing stay. Loved the old cabin and the unique feel of the property and was the perfect place to set outside on the porch with a cup of coffee.

Absolutely beautiful cabin with modern amenities and close to area attractions. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time at this property immensely. I highly recommend!

Very neat place. If you would like to see how people lived in an 1850 home, this is a place. Interior is well done. Addition is very nice.

Fall Family Getaway

Absolutely loved the historical setting with modern amenities of the cabin/home. So cozy! Loved sitting on the front porch for morning coffee, breakfast as a family in the kitchen/table, dinners cooked on the grill and evening fires in the fire pit outdoors. Thank you so much for the memories with our family!!

Great house!

This was a great house! We totally enjoyed our stay and we will be back!! It rained all day our 3rd day, we opened the windows and listened to the rain on the tin roof all day, couldn’t have planned it any better! Thank you !!

Wonderful cabin getaway

We had the most amazing stay in this very unique cabin! We loved the combination of an old cabin and modern conveniences! The cabin is well stocked with everything you might need or want. The beds were all very comfortable and my kids loved the loft upstairs. The front porch is so peaceful and the whole cabin has a very private feel to it. It felt like we were staying in someone’s private home instead of a rental property. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for our family!!

Trip to the mountains

We have wanted to go to a cabin in the mountains for years. We finally did it this year and What a wonderful experience it was. I loved everything about the property. It was so welcoming, clean and decorated so nicely. It felt like we were in our own home, that is how comfortable we were there. We plan on coming back for sure!! So happy we found your cabin and that you opened your home up to us.

Absolutely adorable cabin

We loved everything about our stay at the cabin from location, to amenities, to decorating style and to hospitality! We were so honored to get to meet Robin and what great conversation we had as well as suggestions of things to do in the area! Highlights were Cataloochee Valley and the elk, dining In Waynesville at the Chef’s Table to our trip to Cherokee! Thanks again Robin! And we will return and tell others about our secret hideaway in Maggie Valley!

Great Winter Getaway!

My adventure girl sidekick and I had the best time! The cabin was perfect for us. It was comfy and warm with a well supplied kitchen where we cooked each evening. Our days were spent hiking in the Appalachian Mountains and/or skiing on the mountain just above the cabin. All you need to take for a wonderful stay is groceries and a 4 wheel drive (for wintery precipitation). We had that covered. A few more days would have made it even better! Thank you, Robin and Robert! We plan to make a return visit soon!

Dirty!

Renter beware. This place is not like the pictures you see. BLACK MOLD in the only shower in the rental! Every outside seat or cushion looks like wildlife has used them for mating season and toilets. Kuereg machine was disgustingly filthy. I expressed my dissatisfaction about the cleanliness of this rental to the owner which was ignored. He later told me I should have said something and he may have been able to correct some thing's. He suddenly forgot that he admitted missing my message about the cleanliness when I asked him about it. He blamed all previous renters for not letting him know about the conditions. Do yourself a favor and book a different cabin

The cabin is beautiful! The location was quiet and peaceful! We loved being able to hear the creek from the living room. Having coffee on the front porch swing was the best! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying again in the near future!

While the cabin is quite cozy it was not as private as the pictures would lead you to believe. The creek was also not as close to the cabin as it seems either. We did enjoy hearing it while enjoying the porch though. The cabin could use a deep clean and some pruning of the bushes/shrubbery/and arbor entrance. A sidewalk from the steps to the porch would also be nice. It was raining just prior to our arrival and rock hopping carrying in bags isn’t easy. Communication with Patrick was easy and he was responsive to messages.

Great Lovation

Easy check-in. Cabin has everything you need for away from home stay. Quiet location. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and listening to the water rushing by in the creek. We enjoyed our stay at Patrick’s cabin.
