Vacker stuga i skogen

Denna fastighet ligger i hjärtat av Alta i en lugn trädbevuxen miljö. Det är en utmärkt bas för vandring, fiske och skidåkning i Tahoe-bassängen. Det är 30 minuter från Boreal Ski Resort och 45 min från Truckee. Vi har ett stort däck med grill, perfekt för avkoppling medan vi har en kopp kaffe eller bara besöker med familj och vänner. Gott om plats för barnen och en eldstad att njuta av på natten. Det finns också tillgång till en gemensam pool i Dutch Flat 5 minuter bort. Denna stuga byggdes 2010 som mina föräldrar sommarhem och har all komfort och bekvämlighet.

Amazing stay!!

Cozy cabin

This cabin was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean, very well stocked in the kitchen, and had all the streaming services on the TV the kids could ask for! The view in the morning looking out into the forest was stunning. The cats that greeted us upon arrival made us feel like we were at home. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Love this place!

The Cozy Cabin was exactly that. Beautiful surroundings and easy to locate. My family and I had plans to ski at Soda Springs for the weekend, which was a short 30 minutes to the hill, which worked out perfectly. Out of the hustle and bustle of traffic and a quiet retreat. Easy in easy out. Thank you, Scott and Dena!

Cozy Perfect Ski Weekend

Wonderful spot - worked perfectly for a family ski trip, a quick 30 minute drive up to Royal Gorge and Sugar Bowl. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our hosts were kind and accommodating and we loved staying in the quiet forest at the end of the road. We'll be back!

Lovely Relaxing Weekend

Our stay was exactly what we were looking for. The property was as expected: clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and the location is perfect. We all really enjoyed our visit and would gladly return for another trip.

Wonderful Getaway Location

Sweet little place

Needed a little getaway. The family and I were able to spend three nights at the cabin to relax and unwind. Enjoyed the surroundings, friendly cat, dog and sweet property owners. We enjoyed walking around and playing outside. We will be back to have some tranquility again.

Wonderful hosts and cozy cabin!

We had such a wonderful stay here in a snowstorm! Scott and Dena were amazing hosts from helping us anticipate road conditions getting there on a stormy weekend to all of the small touches that made staying there with kids easy and fun! Our kids loved the toys, we loved the fully stocked kitchen and cooking together, the orientation of the cabin out to the woods is just beautiful. We look forward to another visit!

Wonderful Stay!

This was the perfect “cabin in the woods getaway” for our family of five. We were looking for a place to reconnect with our daughters before the beginning of school/college. This cabin went above and beyond our expectations! It had a great layout for our family, plenty of space, all the amenities you would need either in the kitchen, bedrooms or bathrooms. We felt very at home and the owners were so kind. Would definitely come back next time!

Cozy Cabin Getaway

This cabin and host was remarkable. We originally had plans to site see in Lake Tahoe, and other places but found ourselves repeatedly going back to the cabin to just hang and play games. Had a campfire, played ball with the dog, and hung out with cat. Great time. Scott accommodated everything we requested lickety split. The cabin layout was awesome. Will stay again.

Perfect Stay Near the Snow

We had a great stay in Alta here. Celebrated my daughters birthday with a few friends here. Close enough that we could enjoy the Truckee / Donner area without having to worry about traffic and pricey rentals. Very nice place to stay for the 6 of us. The hosts were very accomodating and made us all feel very welcome and at home. Thank you!

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay at Scott and Dena's cabin. It was so cozy and well-stocked, and we appreciated the fresh eggs from the chickens! We also loved playing with the pets. Great location too- there was some snow on the ground when we got there, and only had to drive about 15 miles up the road for sledding.

Everything about this property is HEAVEN! It’s super close to the freeway yet nestled in the Forrest of big beautiful trees. Checkin was a breeze, we met Scott, his wife, their dog and the famous Apricot, kitty. We love all of them!!! The cabin and surroundings are beyond beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. You have to see it yourself. We will definitely be back and strongly recommend it to you too. We made family memories that will last a lifetime and recharged our souls. Highly highly recommend!!!!

Wonderful Family Cabin

Our family had a wonderful time making memories at this property. The owners were delightful and so fast in responding to our questions and providing useful information we didn't think to ask. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked with all you need including toiletries and kitchen cookware. The owners were so kind to help us start a fire for roasting marshmallows and we enjoyed getting to know them and learning more about the cabin. My boys fell in love with the owner's dog and spent a lot of time playing fetch. They also loved seeing the cat and chickens. There are plenty of toys in the cabin that also kept them entertained. We highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future. It was truly a wonderful place to get away with our family.
