Bonny Cottage ligger på egenskapen av Ellen och Mike Tomy i det historiska distriktet Beaufort, South Carolina. Det byggdes i slutet av 1800-talet efter den nyligen "obehagliga" för de befriade slavarna som valde att stanna i söder. Amazing Memorial Day Weekend!

Property was impeccable all around. Attractive, period decor, super clean. Every aspect thoughtfully appointed, down to shower head and toiletries. Loved the quaintness of neighborhood and deep historic character of area. Very pleasurable and memorable. We will absolutely return within the year. Looking forward to becoming further acquainted with hosts, who were kind, gracious, and flexible. Property should retain it's well deserved "10".

Anniversary celebration

Ellen and Mike are so lovely and wonderful hosts, true southern hospitality. The cottage was adorable and in the historic district and close to restaurants and harbor. Ellen took care of every little detail in the cottage, it was perfect. Thank you Ellen and Mike for making us feel at home and we hope to make this maybe a yearly visit. This was a wonderful place to stay while in Beaufort. You can easily walk to downtown and all of the restaurants. The cottage was immaculate and very well equipped. Definitely consider Bonny Cottage for your next trip to Beaufort.

Ellen and Mike Tomy are the owners of Bonny Cottage located on their property 1103 Craven Street, Beaufort, SC. The main house, where Ellen and Mike live, was renovated in 2015 and the cottage was recently renovated in 2019. Mike is a retired architect and a decorated Viet-nam veteran. Ellen is a retired portrait painter.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Vacations from Atlanta down to Beaufort every summer to visit family, we bought this property because of our love for architecture, history and Beaufort itself. Ellen's family roots are in South Carolina so it is like coming home to stay.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

One cannot but feel the presence of happiness and contentment when entering Bonny Cottage. Even before it was renovated, with holes in its floors and dilapidated nature, it was cheerful.
