Great Condo!

We really enjoyed our stay. We take a family trip to the beach each year. This condo was the cleanest one we have ever stayed in. At first we were a little leery about staying at a ground floor unit. We could see the water from our patio. The teens loved the pool & hot tub right outside our door. The beach was literally just steps away. Beach service included 4 chairs & 2 umbrellas. Since it is a smaller building it was nice to get front row every day. The condo had everything we needed. We ate breakfast & lunch in the condo every day & went out for dinner. Kyle was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend staying there!

The best condo I’ve ever stayed at in the area

Summer place was absolutely amazing. We traveled with my almost 2 year old son. The location can’t be beat. You are literally inches from the pool from your back door. The beach is a short walk and the chairs and umbrella top it off. I’ve never seen such a clean place. We’ve been coming to Destin area for 8 years now and every time there’s something, no matter how small, wrong with where we stay. I can honestly say that was not the case with this place. Everything was perfect. We will be repeat customers.

The beach was very clean and our chairs were set up for us when we asked. The Condo was conveniently located near many restaurants. The communication with Kyle was excellent. Our girls trip was a success!! We hope to return again sometime in the future!!

Great Stay for our family!

We had a wonderful stay at Kyle's condo. The location was super convenient for use of the pool and having our two kids play at the pool. Beach is also super close and having chairs and umbrellas provided was extremely convenient. We would definitely stay her again.

Great Stay

We loved our vacation here. Our kids started their day in the pool and ended their day in the pool most days and the fact that it was right outside our door was great. The beach is also a short walk. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Highly recommend!

We just spent an amazing week at this well appointed,very clean, and tastefully decorated condo. The owner was easy to contact and helpful with questions about where to eat, shop etc. Honestly cannot say enough about the convenience of being on the first floor with easy access to the pool and beach! Even if there were people in the pool you cannot hear anything from the inside-amazing. We will definitely be returning to this gem! Thanks Kyle!

Family Getaway

The condo was exactly as advertised and the communication with the property owner was excellent. Even though the property is on the first floor by the pool there was very little outside noise. This is a very family oriented area with plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance. One pleasant surprise was the extremely comfortable mattress in the master bedroom. We definitely enjoyed quality sleep! The beach chairs were a plus and we never felt the beach was overcrowded. Overall, this was a great family getaway and we will definitely be back.

Amazing Location!

I’m just now getting around to writing our review. We stayed over Thanksgiving last year and had a blast! The condo was well-appointed. I think there were 4 TVs in the unit but we never turned any of them on during our stay! My only recommendation to the owners would be to add beach/pool towels. I knew they weren’t included but forgot to pack any and had to pick some up which wasn’t a huge deal. Very clean, furnishings were nice and the beds are great. I slept better than I ever do at home. Being able to do laundry before heading home was a great convenience. The location is absolutely amazing. You’re literally steps from the beach/ocean. The ground floor access was great for members of our family that have mobility issues. There’s a huge deck box of sand/beach toys including boogie boards. We brought sand toys but really didn’t need to. Since we went in November, the free beach chairs/umbrellas weren’t included, but I was able to arrange for them to be set up on the days we wanted and pay the service directly. The pool that’s heated in the cooler months is the one right outside the condo. That and the hot tub were quite popular spots but we were never bothered by noise and after the quiet hours, no one was out there. We enjoyed the slower pace of FWB as compared to the hustle and bustle of Destin. We did a dolphin cruise and a couple of other things over there. It was our first trip to the area but we will definitely be back!

Excellent!

We had everything we needed for a group of 8 (including a one year & three year old). The location being on the main floor next to the hot tub and directly leading to the ocean provided a convenience that couldn’t be beat. Communication with the host was excellent. Lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. It was a great stay!

Great location!!

We’ll keep up property. Parking and unloading was a breeze. Unit was clean and the decor was great. Loved the closet space and the double sinks in bathroom. They had a vacuum and cleaning supplies so you can keep the space clean and sand free. The liquor and beer store is right across the street, so getting beverages and snacks for the beach was just a 2 min walk away. Nice restaurants within walking distances as well. Laid back environment at the pool. Grill is located really close to room, they had propane and charcoal options. This was the best room I have stayed at fort Walton and I have been coming for the past 5 years. It was a great experience for my vacation and will be returning soon.

Beachside Paradise

This unit was immaculate. It was on the first floor and right outside the pools and hot tub. It was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. All the rooms were spacious. There were plenty of supplies in the bathrooms and kitchen. The entire condo was very quiet and peaceful. It was right on the beach side. The Owner was very informative and helpful from the day I booked until the day of checkin. There is plenty of parking and several good restaurants close by.

Absolute perfection

The ground floor location was absolutely perfect. The children were able to come in and out as they please and we could see them in the pool/hot tub at all times. The unit was clean and everything was as expected. We had a wonderful family vacation. We will definitely be back.

Perfect!!

Very clean, perfect location with the heated pool and hot tub just steps away. Very close to the boardwalk to the beach. Loved having chairs and umbrella available to watch the grandchildren build sand castles. Very close to wonderful restaurants.

Great Spot!!

Kyle’s place is great!! The condo is conveniently located directly on the water and near restaurants and activities for kids. The beds are super comfortable and I like that there is a TV in every room. I really love all of the touches of home in the condo. Board games and puzzles for kids, dish cleaning tools, extra coffee filters, Rubbermaid for leftovers, extra soap in the bathrooms, extra toilet paper, trash bags, dryer sheets, shampoo and lotions under the sinks. Extra blankets, plenty of bath towels, rugs in the bathrooms and throughout the condo. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. By far, my favorite feature about the condo is the proximity to the pool and beach. The sliding glass door opens to a gated patio on the pool deck and just steps from the beach. The patio contains an outdoor storage box full of every beach toy you could ever need. Another bonus is that the condo comes with chairs during your stay. Not chairs you carry down to the beach, although they have some, but chairs that an attendant sets up for you every morning and takes down in the evening. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and we will definitely be back!

Girls Getaway

We have been to Okaloosa before and love it there but this was definitely the best. We parked the car and never got back in it until we were packing to leave. We love that everything was in walking distance. The hosts are great communicators and would highly recommend this condo to anyone. It's on the 1st floor which if you have never stayed on the ground floor you are in for a treat! No waiting on elevators! You have access to everything from your patio. We felt safe and secure at all times. The beach staff were very nice and helpful made sure we had set ups by our new friends from Ohio who we just meet. Everyone we meet was just super nice. The condo: AMAZING! If you forgot something it was ok cause it was there. Very well stocked! Sunburn... Bam they had relief lotion already there. The beds were all very comfortable. The cleaning staff did an awesome job. I honestly can not say enough about how wonderful our experience was here. Thank you and we look forward to coming back again next year!

My name is Kyle and I am married with 3 awesome children. My children are 13, 11, and 7. We are a very active family. We love the beach, mountains, hiking, fishing, soccer, basketball, music and most of all doing all this as a family.

Varför värden valde detta boende

My grandparents bought a condo on Fort Walton Beach back in the 80's. I don't remember a time when we did not come to Fort Walton Beach for our family vacation. Now that I have 3 kids and my sister has 2 kids, we all do not fit in my grandparents original condo they purchased so long ago. So we decided to purchase one of our own so our kids can enjoy taking vacations to the beach with our entire family like I did as a kid.

This property is a perfect location for family vacations to the beach as well as the retired couples not wanting to walk up and down stairs or wait on the elevator. The things we like most about the property is you can sit on the balcony and watch your kids play in the pool while you are enjoying a fantastic view with out having to walk down any stairs or take an elevator to get to the pool. Being on the ground floor also make trips to the beach much easier. When you have several children getting all your stuff to the beach can be difficult. Being able to walk directly out the back door of the unit and start your trip to the beach makes things much easier for parents that have to carry endless amounts of beach toys for your kids.
