Great place with good view

Very clean and pleasant, and will come back again. Owner has done a very good job with decor and keep place hospitable.Only thing to be aware is there is 25 fee per stay per pereon to use some eminities offered. This include heated pool pool ubcommnunity at club house

Great Place!

We enjoyed our stay and the condo had everything we needed for our family with teenagers. Communication was great and they let us check out a couple hours later to enjoy the morning on the beach. We only stayed a couple of nights, but the condo has everything you need if you want to be there several days. We loved the location to the pool.

Another great repeated stay

We love the convenience of the pools, the beach, the sunsets, and the very large balconies where I can sit and watch my family. We started coming to this complex 7 years ago and come back every year. Linda and MaryAlice are excellent hosts and extremely responsive.

Very enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We are returning guests to the Sunset Hideaway because we enjoyed this location so much. The sunsets are magical, the condo is very comfortable and accommodating and the drive-on beaches nearby are such fun. The balcony overlooks the bayside pool where we spent many hours. We enjoyed coffee breaks and many meals on the patio. The property managers are very responsive and attentive. Our family will be back next year. Highly recommend!

Simply the Best

We love Pointe West! This property is perfect for anyone who enjoys just hangin out together. Sitting together around the large table on the balcony, bbq and games just outside the condo by the pool area, playing in the pool just steps from the condo, game time in the living space, and puzzles in the dining room are some of the activities you'll find here. It's an easy drive or walk to the beach, which is great for all ages to enjoy. We had a couple of delays on arrival time and the property managers were so nice and bent over backward to help us. I can't say enough nice things about them. I highly recommend this property.

Great experience

We had a great time, and this may be my favorite vacation rental. We’ve stayed at PW before but this was our first time at this condo. The floor plan is great, clean, and amazing sunsets.

Quite retreat!

Beautiful property. A distance from the roar of Galveston but I’m not walking so it turned out to be a good thing. Gulf close by and a pool out the back door! A little piece of heaven on earth!

Beautiful Property

Good location, nice place.. Four issues that should be corrected. 1. Elevator didnt work at any time during our stay. Not acceptable on 4 floor condo. 2. We hope the silverfish didnt come home with us. 3. The master closet and entry coat closets were both locked, so we had no place to hang our clothes. 4. Soap, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in showers were all empty.

Annual Mothers & Daughters Trip

We came in from Arkansas, Louisiana and North Houston for this annual trip and we’re so happy we chose this condo. Mary Alice was very responsive every step of the way and any questions we had were answered and addressed immediately. The property is well appointed, well maintained and very comfortable. Would definitely love to return!

Best condo at Pointe West! They will spoil you, they are so amazing!

We have stayed at 8 or 9 different condos at Pointe West, but this one became our absolute favorite! it has it ALL! It has the best interior design, gorgeous! Looks like a million bucks! Has everything you could possibly need inside. The owners left us this very charming gift basket with goodies in it, what an exciting thrill! Top of the line bedding and comfort! PERFECT location and BEST VIEW!! You get an extraordinary view of the bay and can also see the Gulf from the other side, what?? Amazing! And you are RIGHT next to the Lazy River pool and hot tub, best situation at the resort right here! The owners were so attentive, we were blown away! We couldnt be happier with our stay, and will definitely stay specifically at this condo from now on, we found our home away from home! I could go on and on, just amazing. Cannot wait to return! bless you all and thank you!!

Becoming a tradition

This is our family's second end of summer stay at this property. Once again, we were delighted with the cleanliness and how well maintained everything was. There are so many places to choose from when staying on the island but this location truly is a gem. The 2 patios, one overlooking the gulf and the other the bay afford beautiful sunrise and sunset view. The lazy river pool and hot tub are just steps away. This is our place to unplug, relax and recharge. Looking forward to next year.

A good stay the second time around

This is our second stay at this condo and we really enjoyed it again. We had two adults and two children in the condo, so we had more than enough room. We could easily add another family of three to the group. We choose to stay in a condo so we can prepare our own meals; however, there was no frying pan/skillet. To make eggs in the morning, we had to use a pot. It would be nice to have the pots & pans updated. Otherwise, the kitchen is fully functional. There are three full bathrooms; however, the drainplugs didn't work in two of the bathtubs, so our kids just used one bathroom. Also, the hot water doesn't work in the primary bathroom. The handle turns a full 360 so it doesn't appear to be connected to the waterline. Again, we just used a different tub since there were other options. However, if it we had another family with us, it would be been a bit trickier. Overall, we enjoy this property and it's management very much. We had one question about the code access and they answered as soon as I called and addressed my question immediately. If we plan another trip, we'd be more than happy to stay at tis property again.

Short vacation getaway

Top of the line property with access to great amenities as well. Very clean, great view of pool, and unbeatable sunset from the patio in the evenings. Will definitely be coming back!!
