Ligger i farfar och vackra och natursköna ravin i Wilson's Creek. BML Àr mycket avskilt av Pisgah National skogar men ÀndÄ bara 13-18 miles frÄn antingen Blowing Rock, Linville Falls eller Grandfather Mountain. Vi Àr WiFi utrustade. De
Wilson creek gorge Àr 1/2 mil frÄn huset och Àr fylld med öring. Vi har stigar bakom huset med utsikt över GFM och vattenfall och ligger nÀra Harper creek falls trail head. Vi Àr husdjursvÀnliga, och vi har en fyra hÀst ladugÄrd för gÀster som vill ta med sina hÀstar. Brown Mountain All Terrain fordonsparken ligger bara 9 miles frÄn huset om du vill ta med din ATV. Barnen kan hyra rör för att flyta klyftan eller fiska i öringdammet i Betsys landsaffÀr. Bra utflykter till Linville Falls, Linn Cove viadukten, Grandfather Mountain, Table Rock park och Blowing Rock för shopping och fina restauranger. LÀnkar pÄ vÄr webbplats för golf, fiske, restauranger, shopping, sightseeing och allt det roliga att göra i bergen.

The original owners had incredible vision even back in the 50's to build such a unique and beautiful home they called 'The Hideaway'. They constructed a 12 ft steel water wheel down on the creek that was beautiful. When we bought the home we wanted to restore the property and water wheel to its grandeur and make it even better to share with folks that love the mountains. My wife and I invite you to experience the vacation cabin rental that you will always remember the good times with your family. We re-named the hideaway to the Brown Mountain Lodge. Our goal is to provide one of the best family oriented vacation and cabin rentals in the Boone and Blowing Rock NC area.
In 2007 I wrote a true short ghost story about the adventures my brother and I have experienced in the Brown Mountain Area. The book is a collection of and titled '13 Terrifying Tales from the North Carolina Piedmont'. A copy of the book and pictures to document my tales as well as other books about the area are in the Lodge for your reading pleasure around the campfire. This book is published by Lorimer Press and is available at Barnes and Noble and other bookstores in the region.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
We admired and dreamed about owning this home as a kids and when the opportunity presented itself we made it happen. The Brown Mountain area and Wilson Creek Gorge is off the beaten path and has been undiscovered for years. People are finding out about it now since the River was designated a Wild and Scenic River in 2004. If your looking for a private paradise pet friendly vacation home in a secluded Mountain setting with beautiful streams, waterfalls and River Gorge then you just found it.
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
BML is a multi level home with 3 BR's, the living area and kitchen are comfy and set up for family fun and enjoying the home. We have WiFi and HiDef TV for staying connected with the world. Guests really enjoy our outdoor living area with fireplace, grills and swings that looks over the creek. Right up behind the house are terrific trails that we have views of on our web site.
