River Cabin ligger i Linville Land Harbour. Stugan har 3 sovrum och 2 badrum. De två sovrummen på bottenvåningen har vardera en queen size-säng och det finns ett stort loft med två enkelsängar plus en extra queen size-säng. Vardagsrummet har en mysig kabinkänsla med antik vedeldad spis, platt-TV och DVD-spelare. Det finns också platt-tv i sovrummet och loftet. Köket är fullt utrustat med diskmaskin, spis / ugn, kyl / frys, kaffebryggare och köks- / matredskap. Koppla av och ta in den friska fjällluften på ett av två däck. Sitt på bakdäck och se naturen med utsikt över skogen. Fåglar, kolibrier, ekorrar, chipmunks, rävar och kaniner är några av våra vanligaste besökare. Från trädgården, ta en kort spår genom skogen till floden. Det finns en eldstad i sidogården med sex fällbara stolar i källaren. Det är det sista huset på en återvändsgränd som leder till sjön. Fredlig och privat. Ta en kort promenad genom sidogården till floden där det finns en bro som leder till ett vackert område på sjön med picknickbord, grillar, trädplattformsutsikter och en svängande bänk. Det finns flera vandringsleder i Land Harbor längs sjön och floderna.

Med en höjd av 3600 fot är vädret perfekt året runt. Somrarna är skarpa och svala, och vintrarna är milda jämfört med andra områden i landet.

Linville Land Harbor erbjuder ett brett utbud av bekvämligheter för att göra din vistelse angenäm. Perfect Getaway!

Great location

We loved the areas around the cabin- within the neighborhood there’s a nice hike around the lake, a children’s pond, playground with big open field and a bocce ball court. Also close in proximity to area highlights.

Perfect location

Cozy cabin with everything you need to have a great experience. Well stocked kitchen made cooking easy. Loved the fireplace. It was the perfect family getaway vacation place.

Great stay

Stayed for a weekend to take my kids snow tubing for Christmas. Very close to the attraction and close enough drive to town for food, movies, other attractions. Loved the upstairs room for my 4 young children. Great bed arrangement. Heat in the house works too well haha. Very cozy, inviting, home thats just as described in listening. Awesome communication with host whenever we had any questions and even prior to the trip during the booking process. Would definitely stay again and make it a family tradition. Definitely true about 4 wheel drive in the winter. There was a light snow when we came up and the road was icy after. The main roads were salted and immediately cleared but the roads in the neighborhood are tight and have a few small hills and places where the sun doesnt melt the snow/ice so it can get slippery.

Very homey, comfortable and well-stocked

Cabin is dated but clean and comfortable. It is stocked better than any other place we have stayed. Grounds are beautiful. I would have preferred to be closer to Blowing Rock but overall, we had a great vacation.

Sweet, rustic cabin

Well-loved family cabin in wooded area was private but had easy access to highway and local restaurants. Especially pretty neighborhood in autumn! Kids would love it, but close to the lake, so young ones would need supervision.

Fishing Trip

Entry is easy with a combo lock - no key to lose. cabin not only looked clean - it smelled clean! Owner arranged for fishing permits with the HOA so that we could fish on property. They even had little hotel style soaps/shampoos/conditioners. One of the nicest VRBO stays we’ve had.

Peaceful Getaway

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was stocked well and had everything we needed. It is close to a dam overflow area which provided a soothing background sound, especially when sleeping. It was a peaceful getaway.

Another great stay!

This is our second stay at Granny's Cabin and again it was a peaceful get-away for our 20th anniversary. The location is quiet and peaceful and easy to access (outside of the fog and mist!). Everything was as advertised and listed and we had no trouble at all. Great place and we'll be back again.

Nanny's Cabin is awesome!

We had such a wonderful time at Nanny's Cabin. The location is very quiet and private at the end of the road. You can literally walk out the back door to cross the bridge to the river trail. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Thanks Rebecca!

Wonderful month!

The cabin was great and was in a wonderful area. We absolutely love Linville Land Harbor! Such a beautiful place. Golfing , canoeing, hiking, and socializing. We even took our golf cart so we could tour around in the quaint, adorable home sections. The leaves were beautiful and the weather perfect! We will definitely be back!

Home away fro home

What a fantastic place. It was cozy, well cared for and well placed. It took no time at all to get to the surrounding areas. The property itself was reason enough to rent but throw in the perks of the subdivision and you’ve got perfection. Thank you Rebecca for allowing my family to stay here and see snow for the first time.

Location. Location. Location. Our Grandmother, Nanny, fell in love with the property and designed her dream cabin. She loved nature and was an environmentalist. The property is great with trails accessible in walking distance. It is the last cabin on a dead end road which ends on a lake. Land Harbor is a resort community with numerous things to do. This cabin is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and close to many area attractions, including: Linville falls, Grandfather mountain, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Blowing Rock, Boone, Hawksnest Ski Resort, Linville Cavern, Alpine coaster, Tweetsie railroad, and many more.
