Välkommen till Salt House, som ligger i det historiska havet, Oregon! Detta restaurerade hem med 19 våningar, två våningar, har två sovrum, två badrum, med plats för upp till sex gäster! Du har tillgång till en trädgård för dina barn att leka i tillsammans med tillgång till stranden bara en kort promenad västerut! Parkera framför Salt House, och gå upp de fem stegen för att få tillgång till insidan av detta nyrenoverade hus i vintage stil på Oregon kusten!

Solrummet, fullt av fönster och ljus, är den perfekta platsen att läsa, släppa dina sandiga skor, hänga dina strandhanddukar och den bekväma kärlekssätet öppnas till en minnesskum med två enkelsängar. Gå in i det viktigaste vardagsrummet för att hitta fartygsväggar, skinnsoffa och fyra stolar, en platt-TV och en underbar rustik atmosfär. Var noga med att njuta av de förfinade trägolv och tapplampor som finns i hela hemmet! Du har också Wi-Fi, brädspel, böcker, DVD och BluRays att njuta av under din vistelse.

Matsalområdet ligger precis utanför vardagsrummet, med en bondgård med plats för fyra av dina gäster. Köket har en diskbänk med två barstolar för mer måltider. Gästerna är välkomna att njuta av en måltid tillsammans i vardagsrummet, eller till och med ute på bakdäcken intill gården! Däcket har en grill som du kan använda för att laga några revben och grönsaker under sommarmånaderna! Köket har allt du behöver för att njuta av en varm, hemlagad måltid på Oregon kusten. Du har tillgång till kylskåp, mikrovågsugn, ugn / spishäll, diskmaskin, kaffebryggare, brödrost och mer. Original fartygsväggar, öppna hyllor i hyllor, nya marinblå anpassade skåp, stor bondgård diskbänk och kvarts bänkskivor väntar på dig! Ligger utanför köket, hittar du den bakre korridoren med tvättmaskin / torktumlare, badrum med duschkabin och blomster tapeter i vintage stil. Korridoren har fler krokar för dina jackor eller badhanddukar och leder till bakdäck och tillgång till grillplats.

Precis mittemot köket och matsalen finns båda sovrummen, som delar ett helt ombyggt Jack-and-Jill-badrum med badkar / duschkombo, ny vit tunnelbanakakel och vintage-öre-plattor. Båda sovrummen har queen size-sängar och vackra Pottery Barn-sängkläder, tillsammans med sjögräsfönsterbeläggningar och originella fartygsväggar.

När du bor på Salt House har du massor av roliga saker att se och göra i staden Seaside! Strandpromenaden ligger bara en kort promenad eller kör i söder, där du kan hitta en arkad, tillgång till stranden, havet Aquarium, godisaffärer och restauranger! De har till och med en biograf. Om du vill göra lite vandring finns det många platser upp och ner för kusten att kolla in. Oavsett vad du väljer att göra, har du en explosion vid Oregon kusten medan du besöker Salt House med Oregon Beach Vacations!

Quaint and Convenient

This cute property was perfect for a friend and I. We were able to walk to town and the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and off street parking was a bonus.

Loved the Seaside Salt House

The Salt House was just right. Cute décor and good space. The neighborhood was pretty quiet, but only a few blocks from the promenade and beach, and walking distance to restaurants. (Sometimes 6 blocks or more, but we like to walk.)

Best location, perfect for family of 4

Had the best time at this stay! A short walk to the beach and just minutes to downtown make this location desirable. Our 2 small children couldn’t get enough of the open layout of the house. There’s plenty of room to play and keep an eye on the kids.

Beware of this rental...good and bad qualities

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Things to note: Anything above the shoulders NEEDS to be cleaned. Toilets & kitchen items were clean. Bathroom has a toothpaste cap stuck in the drain--it's moldy and gross--it's been there for months (according to a previous renter, it was there when they rented). This should be attended to. Light fixtures--dust and cobwebs were hanging off of them. The power went out: no emergency battery candles. This house needs a power outage emergency kit--especially when doing wintertime rentals, as this was. Yes, there was a lighter to light the gas stove during the power outage. SUPER SLIPPERY deck and stairs. Uneven ground getting to the stairs to enter the house. Very dangerous getting into and out of home. Can easily slip and fall. Can bump head on garage roof line. 3 key lock boxes--Upon arrival-you choose which one to use. Lock boxes need to be clearly labeled and removed from the door handle. Door locks should be checked before guest arrival--key didn't work in the lock upon arrival. TV remotes (there are 3) need to be labeled with instructions that apply to this house. The house was nice, no smells and sheets were clean. Beds were made. Dishwasher works. Microwave works. Multiple coffee pot options were nice. Stove/oven work. Frig works. Washer & Dryer work. Plenty of clean linens, blankets & throws.

Good location, but house needs some love

This little house is cute and has a nice open layout. The location is within a few blocks of the promenade and beach access, and also just a short walk to downtown Seaside. It was a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is adequately stocked and has good appliances. Washer/dryer worked well. Good Wi-Fi and cable. What was disappointing? Beds were not comfortable. We suggest an upgrade to the mattresses and bedding. We had to wash two fleece blankets that were stored in the rooms before using because they were dusty and dirty. The bathrooms are small and not terribly clean (hair in the shower and spots the floor). There were ants in the kitchen, and the stovetop and oven were not clean. The key was nearly impossible to use in the back door next to the lock box. We only used the front door because of that. For the rate we paid for four nights, we expected a cleaner and more comfortable experience.

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this house is fantastic. This house looked much nicer in photographs than in real life. Upon entry the house smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and that lingered for the first say and a half, there were a lot of ants everywhere and things like the large area rug appeared to have never been cleaned. I also found a bloody bandaid in the bathroom. I did have a crawling baby with me though, so I’m likely more aware of cleanliness than most. The cold faucet in the bathtub was broken but other than that everything was functional. I found the person at the rental agency to be quite rude and she certainly did not want to rent to me, but we didn’t let that hinder our trip. The house is just two or three blocks (an easy walk) to the beach and a few more to the downtown area. It was a great location and the house had everything we needed. There is no cooking oil and no spices beyond salt and pepper, just so others can plan ahead.

Great Place with Room For Improvement

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in right before dinner our first night, so it was a little disappointing that I had to clean two pots before being able to use them, and being unable to use the calendar as paint was chipping off it. During the rest of the stay I ended up finding two pans, the BBQ tongs, and a bowl all with food still on them. While preparing dinner I noticed ants on the counter. The management company was quick to send someone over after I called them (the next day). Ants are something you don't get rid of quickly though, so we had to continue to deal with them for the remainder of our stay (spread to front bedroom and Jack and Jill bathroom).The house is in a great location, close to most things, including just over a block from the beach. The atmosphere inside the home is great, but could be better with some attention to cleaning. The chandelier in the living area was covered in cobwebs, and the area rug (stained) looks like it should be replaced. With a little more attention to detail this place would be perfect.

Just a couple blocks, walking distance to the boardwalk and fun downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. The house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for taking long hot baths & showers, well stocked kitchen, comfy furniture to enjoy a good book. We will definitely go back for another relaxing getaway.

Very good supplies and cookware! ******* I would suggest that a few things be fixed *******1. broken doorknob on front door (it’s crooked and will NOT latch). This required locking the deadbolt just to keep it closed from the wind.2. Revise the generic instructions for getting in; they seem to be written for ALL properties. The lockbox is NOT at the main entrance as stated, and there are 3 lockboxes (in the rear only). Two of those don’t work and wouldn’t open - why are there three? It took over a half-hour to get inside. 3. We suggest adding pull-down privacy blinds behind the existing blinds in living room and bedroom windows, because the rattan (?bamboo) blinds are totally see-through from the street when the inside lights are turned on after dark.Optional: suggest adding shirt/robe hooks on the back of EACH bedroom AND bathroom door - they could also be used to hang wet towels on). Good location and driveway parking. Good heating systems in each room.

Lovely Redone Old House
