200 Ft. docka med skärmad veranda (morgonkaffe och / eller kvällssolnedgångar på sjön) och ett bekvämt 4 5 sovrum hus (cen. AC / värme) som är helt och smakfullt ombyggd och inkluderar kakel över hela nere, nya apparater och granitdiskar i köket samt 3 skjutdörrar för fantastisk utsikt över solnedgången över sjön. Endast ett sovrum (skjutreglage och balkong) är på övervåningen, som innehåller en queen size-säng och öppnar mot en västerut utsikt över sjön med tillgång till balkong. Två av sovrummen nere har också drottning sängar och det tredje sovrummet innehåller 2 enkelsängar. Vardagsrummet har en soffa och en stor futon och kan stängas av med dubbla franska dörrar för extra sovplats. Den veranda på huset, med utsikt över sjön, har 2 takfläktar, gasgrill och bord för 6-8, vilket är ett bra sätt att grilla och njuta av de fantastiska solnedgångarna.
Huset ligger på nästan en tunnland mark och är gömd från gatan av apelsinlunden. På "bakgården" finns en rullande gräsmatta med ytterligare citrus träd och 3 torniga ekar komplett med pittoresk spansk mos, bänk swing, slutar vid sjön (inte inhägnad). Gården är inhägnad på 3 sidor, men öppen med 90 meter naturlig sjöfront längs denna lugna sjö. Det finns en 199 ft kaj med 2 glidbanor och en båt ramp är 2 min. bort. Fisk från bryggan eller ta med din kanot, kajak eller båt till den öppna båten.
En fristående 6 bil garage med en övervåning 2 rums lägenhet är också att hyra. Denna luftkonditionerade möblerad lägenhet innehåller ett effektivt kök och tre stycken badrum, två enkelsängar, bord och stolar, och kabel-TV i främre rummet och två enkelsängar i bakrummet.
Parkering är riklig och det finns plats för RV, men ingen anslutning. Ring för tillgänglighet, kalender inte alltid korrekt.

Great property close to Sebring Raceway. Property was comfortable and clean. Host provided plenty of information leading up to our stay. We would stay here again.

Snowball in Sebring

My wife and our fur baby stayed here for 2 1/2 months and really enjoyed our stay. Yes the house could use some updates but we were comfortable and the fenced in front and back yards gave our Aussie/Doodle lots of room to romp.Andre was tremendous to deal with.

Good Ole Country Home

The property with its huge open yard, long dock and screened in dock house was so relaxing and beautiful! The house is exactly as described with a good ole country home feeling. We had 2 work vehicles and there was plenty of room to park for everyone, which is often a challenge. There were mostly females in our group and even this far out in the country we felt very safe here. Thank you!

A little TLC needed

Where to begin, the first day the water heater died but was fixed within a reasonable amount of time, then the city water feed broke so no water at all, but was fixed in reasonable amount of time. The house is kinda cramped with the king in the master bedroom not leaving much room to get around. The screens on the dock and the back deck were punched out so it made them unusable, but there were fixed a day before we left. Only one of the bedrooms had a TV. The front door jamb blew out but again was fixed so we could lock the door. The photos on line did not truly represent the property, but with some TLC and clean up it wouldn't be too bad. On the up side it was a nice quiet neighborhood with a nice view of the lake. The beds were comfy and there the A/C blew cold, This property needs to update the photos and do some landscaping. With all the problems the owners did offer us a few extra days for free, but we could only stay one due to the fact we had to be back up north.

Paradise every day

We enjoyed the beauty of the lake and all the flowers and wildlife. The neighborhood was mostly quiet and the weather beautiful. The screened in porch was enjoyed by all, including the pets.

Great lake front house.

Sitting at the edge of a beautiful lake this house does not disappoint. 4 bedrooms with many porches off each side of the house. Great location to stay at if going to Sebring Raceway.

Nice but…

The location is really nice, but for the price the accommodations were not great. It felt like staying at a friend’s vacation home. The location is beautiful though. A portion of the family was planning on staying ended up staying at a local hotel instead. Anyways, underwhelmed and wish we just all stayed at a hotel.

Phenomenal Spot On The Lake

Me and three others were in town this past weekend for a Spartan Race being held nearby. This house was about ten minutes from the venue and BEAUTIFUL. Loved it. 10/10 would rent again

Relaxing and comfortable

Overall had a nice Thanksgiving week stay with our extended family. Easy check in and out. Excellent WiFi and cold central A.C. Adequate stocked kitchen. Lots of extra towels and linens. Nice neighbors. The structure of this home and it's furnishings are not comfortable for tall or fat people. The screened in porch needs repair. No dead bolt on outside door. One twin bed was broken and the upstairs mattress desperatly needs replaced. Couldn't fish well because too many lilly pads around the dock. I was a tad disappointed especially because the previous reviews were outstanding.

Exactly what we were looking for

A very nice few days on the lake, is just what we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay at this house on Lake Josephine. The owners were very cooperative with us having to change dates, due to a scheduling mix-up, even on short notice. And they made sure we had their contact info during our stay. Although we had no issues or questions, it was nice knowing they were available. The house had all the amenities we needed for comfort. We were able to enjoy our boat, with the boat launch very close by, and the sunsets were breathtaking! We hated to leave, but hope to return.

Love this lake house!!!

This was the second time that we stayed at this lake house and everything was perfect from start to finish! Nancy was so helpful and kind when we scheduled our reservation, and everything was nicely set up for us when we arrived. The area is so beautiful and peaceful, and it is so close to Sebring for restaurants, grocery stores, the Highlands Hammock State Park, and just about everything that you could possibly need. The large fenced in yard was a favorite for our dog! We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful and relaxing lake house that doesn't have a lot of motor boat traffic. We will definitely be booking it again for our next vacation!

Extended weekend trip

Home and property as described. Excellent communication with owners. We enjoyed having space for everyone to relax, all enjoyed the natural setting and quiet neighborhood as well as the outdoor areas. Home was inviting with personal touches and fresh flowers. We are frequent travelers to the area and look forward to staying again soon.

First time renting

Overall a great experience. One minor issue, but owner very quick to respond. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Tried to rent the house again for next year, but was already rented. Would stay here again.

Very nice place for a quiet getaway

Very nice place, exactly what the pictures depict. Not new but clean and comfortable. The best part is the outside area and dock. Great location. The price was a little misleading it shows it’s only 2 for people, any additional guests is extra but still reasonable specially during New Years when we booked.

We live in Fort Lauderdale, Fl and Don is an engineer/general contractor and Kathryn is an artist. We orginally thought the house would be a great vacation house, but it seems it is a source of endless creative projects!

WE HAVE A SPECIAL FOR ALL RACE TEAMS, for the March 2022 race week the house will be rented for the week starting rent will be $ 2,900.00 - $ 3,200.00.
SUMMER WEEKENDS $84.00 a night per room, minimum 4 rooms to rent. Don is an amateur race car driver and loves the track. Kathryn is an artist and loves the natural lake views and peaceful atmosphere. She is originally from Indiana and is reminded of that Midwestern niceness of the people in the area.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We have plenty of room to entertain family and friends. After a noisy day at the track, or a busy day of sight seeing, it is wonderful to come 'home' to a quiet beautiful sunset over the lake. Life is good! Upstairs balcony makes for great star watching on the clear nights away from the big city lights.
