House was perfect for our anniversary/ Octoberfest get away. The host was extremely easy to communicate with. We just so happened to have scheduled our trip in conjunction with Hurricane Isaias and the house was nestled in the mountain in a way that blocked the majority of the wind. We had an amazing time with friends. House was clean and beds were very comfy.

This was our second stay at Happy Hollow and we truly enjoyed it. The view is great, the home is clean, and it’s a very short distance to shopping, eating, and entertainment in downtown Helen. We had a great time and highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway in Helen.

The house was clean and the pictures were accurate. The owner, Kim, was very quick to respond to any question. My only suggestion would be a few more kitchen utensils and sauce pans.

This was a great place. One bed was kinda tall but if u are short like me there is a stool provided. The driveway was really steep so that was kinda iffy but all in all it was a great place to stay

House was clean and well maintained. The host gave good directions to get to the house. Kitchen had what we needed for our girls weekend. We didn’t really cook but we did bring our own crockpot so supper was ready when we got back from hiking. Plenty of towels/washcloths. There were extra blankets. It does stay cooler in the basement (expected)but they do have an electric fireplace to knock the chill out. We loved the porch and porch swing. We felt safe but would have liked curtains/blinds for the sliding glass doors/french doors. I wish there was a combination key pad for the door. I was so nervous I would lose the house key. Be careful on the driveway. Remember you are parked under trees and sometimes trees like to drop black walnuts or limbs. Overall good experience. Close to the hiking action and town action.
