    It was a place to stay.

    We did not find anything just wonderful about the space. It was clean. The furniture was uncomfortable, the towels and bedding were stiff and rough. Felt like drying off with sandpaper. The pots and pans were in terrible condition. We purchased our own to use while there at WalMart. This space could be wonderful if some things were fixed. Unfortunately, we would not rent this unit again.

    The pull out mattress was so nasty, we couldn't use it. I contacted customer service and nothing could be done. The master room stayed hot and the fan didn't work. There was a roach in the unit as well.There was mold on the shower curtain in the master bath.

    We loved the condo. It is in a great location to where we were going to Pier Park.

    It was very easy and convenient online registration. The condo was well stocked with items as if you were at your own home. We really enjoyed the view of the beach.

    Wonderful condo just a few steps away from the beach!

    Great location!! Walking distance to the beach. I enjoyed sitting in the balcony with my cup of coffee watching the sun rise. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Overall a great experience. I will be booking this place again next year.

    Gorgeous Views and Nice Size Rooms

    My absolute favorite was the view of the ocean. Second is the little touches provide by the owner, such as the love seat beach chair which we used at the Festival we attended, the fully hardware stocked kitchen and the blankets even though I had to wash them first. Thanks for the detergent 😄

    Great location, dated unit

    I love the Calypso Towers due to its proximity to Pier Park. I don't have to get into my car to drive, find parking, etc. The unit was adequate for our needs, but it needs a little facelift.

    The Condo was clean however, it needs some love. Peeling cabinets, rusted stove, chair arms dirty and starting to fray, guest room bed is broken.

    Fall break

    All of good except for the master bed which appeared to have blood drops on the sheets and blood smeared on the mattress cover. Could not sleep in that bed the first night after a 10 drive. It was the next day before sheets and mattress cover could be replaced. Also the master bed tv did not work and had to be replaced.

    This condo needs LOTS of work & updates. New furniture, beds, bedding & kitchen necessities would be a good place to start. For the price we paid, if we it could have been much better. Not as restful of a vacation as we had hoped for.

    Location for IRONMAN Florida was perfect

    We need a place for 2 adults and 3 kids close to Pier Park for IM Florida. Got exactly what we needed. The property was in need of a little TLC, but mostly served out needs. No instructions in the condo to run TV or odds and ends like we usually find, but we had stayed in enough VRBO's to know the process. We had just enough in the condo to get started, but had to resupply asap like trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, hand towels, etc. The view was great. Everything worked aside from the internet which prop manager informed us how to get online outside of the condo wifi. It was sufficient for our needs, but didn't exceed expectations.

    Needs a little TLC

    Gorgeous view and the beds are so comfortable, but the unit needs some attention. The garbage disposal was broken and the sink backed up when we ran the dishwasher. My husband checked under the sink to see what he could do and we found an enormous dead roach. The latch lock and the door stopper were barely hanging onto the wall. Air filter in the laundry room was caked in dust. The transition trim between the kitchen tile and living room flooring is broken and missing pieces. The decorative tree on the balcony is broken in half and just sitting in a corner. It's an otherwise beautiful unit, but I feel like those things should have been noticed and addressed prior to our stay.

    Perfect location, but stay had complications

    The unit is beachfront on the 15th floor at the base of Pier Park. The 3bedrrom/2bath unit had a gorgeous view, and allowed our family of 5 to enjoy the local area. The location is fantastic! It has a lovely theme for decor, but the seating furniture is well worn, cabinets are peeling in the kitchen and bathrooms, lampshades are broken, and all of the mattresses desperately need replaced. The main tv remote was broken and took a few days to be replaced before the tv could be used. The fire alarm chirped for 2 days before maintenance could fix it. The power in bedroom 3 mysteriously shut off while we were away and needed maintenance to come fix it. Note to future renters: You must buy a parking pass and have an option to rent chairs from a vendor on the beach. Bring your own beach towels, a potholder (none), dish towel (1 provided), dish washer tablets (none), salt & pepper shakers (none), cutting board (the mini one provided is the size of a piece of white bread), and for extended stays extra toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom). If you have a problem in the unit, texting with the provided Vacasa (local rental company for the unit) check in link works far better than any phone calls or emails seeking help!

    We loved the location to beach, pool, and Pier Park. The roominess of the condo was good. We had issues with basic necessities, only 1 roll of toilet paper, no wash rags, no pot holders, no strainer. The king mattress was ok, no fitted sheet and stained. The queen mattress has a dip in middle so you roll to the center, the twin bunk beds were so uncomfortable we blew up air mattresses. The pull out couch bed is stained and so old the springs are about to push through. There was blood on the wall in the king room. One of the lamp shades are so old they are ripped and torn. The ice maker did NOT work so we had to buy ice daily for $6 per bag!!! The elevator broke down for a day and when I contacted the agent, I was told “there is an elevator” and had to explain 3 different ways that it was BROKEN and not working according to the front desk and the hundreds of irate people - so walking up and down 15 floors with 2 children under 2 plus all the stuff that comes with that was not fun. Then we were chastised by a particular security guard for drinking a drink by the pool that was purchased at the tiki bar for $24 and to be told you have to sit in a chair to drink it!!! For the amount of money we paid we were extremely disappointed. Will want to stay in the area again but NOT this condo.

    Beach vacation

    The home was spacious for 4 people. The beds were comfortable. The proximity to the beach is almost unbelievable, loved it! We were So close! Also loved the Tiki bar by the pool although expensive. The outside of the building could be picked up though! Overall we loved the vacation.

    Not worth the cost

    For the amount we had to pay for this unit everything seemed cheap. Toilet paper holder in master broken. White pillow cases yellow/brown stained, most of the outlets in unit not working, carpet in bunk room was disgusting- it literally smelled so strong of cat piss that the 15 and 17 yr old brothers would not sleep on bunks but choose to sleep together on pull out. Sheets seemed to barely fit the beds and looked to be the cheapest one could find. They couldn’t even provide one hand towel or one dish towel in kitchen- we had to use paper towels for drying. For the amount this unit is rented for you would think some could be spent on upkeep but it certainly is not. Will never stay with this renter again.

    The condo was decent except for the laminate peeling off of the cabinets and them being sticky. The trim missing where the flooring is separated between the kitchen and living room. The air conditioner was out so we had no air conditioning the entire stay. The patio furniture was broken. Mattresses have dips in them where people have laid.
