Room was just like the pictures. Furniture was a little dated but all beds were awesome and comfortable! Location is amazing! View is fantastic. Smooth check in, and excellent communication. Had a great time! Thank you!

The condo was good for the price. It needs some updating…the dressers didn’t have handles, the bathroom doors don’t lock, the master bathroom fan doesn’t work, the master bed mattress needs to be replaced as It sinks in the middle. The kitchen needs to be stocked with cooking pots and pans. The deck needed some help as well. The owner was responsive when asked questions.

Lovely place

Loved this condo for a family vacation. Great location, great property. Only downside was the cookware was rusted so we had to buy a set of pans to cook. Even so, I would stay here again.

Spring Break 2025

So nice and almost anything is walking distance. Great beach and enjoyed the emerald hub each morning to get us going. Recommend to anyone going to Panama City Beach for vacation. Host very quick to communicate with. No complaints whatsoever

Great stay

Anthony was great! Prompt communication and even let us check in early. Condo was very nice and had the ocean view. More than enough room for all 5 of us. Every was very clean, loved we could literally walk outside to the beach. Very easy check in process and we were walking distance to everything!

Spring Break 2023

The property was as it was described in the listing and tge check-in process was fast. We were even able to have an early check-in! The pool was fantastic & the beach was clean and beautiful. The view was spectacular and the sunset unforgettable.

Loved Calypso

It was good but no hot tubs. Also, the unit had a lot of carpet and the dryer door was broken and had to be rigged to dry.

The sliding door was very difficult to open. Also when we arrived the attendant requested driver license to use a cart for luggage. Once we returned the cart she was allowing other customers to go through the box with everyone drivers license in it because she could not speak English. That was very unprofessional

Great Condo, Amenities, and Location, BUT...

This resort is great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great amenities, great location. The only problem was our AC wasn't working in our unit and it took three days and multiple complaints to get it fixed. The host offered a $200 refund for our inconvenience (not enough since it was so hot we couldn't sleep), but I still haven't received it. We'll see if they make it right, but so far, it's been seven days, and I have not received the refund!!! Although I'm impressed with the resort, I'm not impressed with the condo we stayed in.

It was pretty good

The a/c unit was really frustrating and the owner did send someone out to fix it but he was not successful, we still had to reset the breaker multiple times a day and even overnight. The pull out sofa was broken and we needed to use it. Plenty of towels was very nice. Could have used a few more coffee cups. 2 of the 3 are chipped and cut my husband’s lip. This condo was nice and clean and the owner was very responsive. For some reason all delivery drivers were really confused on how to find us just so you are aware.

Four nights today yeah

Second bedroom had too many beds. It was set up for maximum stay we only had four people so we didn’t need that many beds. It made the room less comfortable. We have stayed in other units in this property and they have one bed and that room and a bunkbed in the third bedroom. They had a full size bed and a third bedroom bunkbeds and a full-size bed and a second bedroom. This made the bedroom less enjoyable for small group .Also, all pots and pans need to replace in that unit they were not usable.

Great view, needs some work

The view is worth any issues we had. They were small, but irritating. The master bedroom TV has no sound. I even bought an aux cord to run it to a separate speaker with no luck. The owner contacted me and said that a repairman "might" make it out to see. He never made it. The family room TV channels could only be controlled by the buttons on the TV itself. On rainy, windy days, it was frustrating. The condo is roomy but needs updated. Everything else was great! We had a great time and will stay at Calypso again, but not in this unit.

Thanks for the feedback Travis. Sorry you encountered issues with the tv volume. For the record, maintenance did show up and checked the tv and the volume was on. They left the tv on with the sound for you. Apparently, that weekend the cable service had service issues causing the volume to sometimes not working correctly.

Great location, could use a few upgrades

The location of this condo is great, walking distance to Pier Park. The condo itself is nice and clean, but it could use a few updates. (The couch is worn, the dining room table had chairs that were about to break, the bathroom / kitchen rugs are worn). The beds were comfortable which is a plus and the kitchen had everything you need (except the ice maker was broken). I didn't like that you can't control the thermostat, it won't go below 70 and it gets warm in the heat of the day. You have to close the curtains to keep it cool and then you can't see the beautiful view. I understand not wanting to keep the temperature at 60 all day, but maybe down to at least 69 would be helpful. The view from the 20th floor is really nice. The building itself was good, but we often had long waits at the elevators and I'm sure its even worse during peak season. Overall a nice condo in a great location.

Thank you for your feedback. Glad you found the condo clean and in great location. Regarding the ice maker, the cleaners switched it in the off position in between stays during the slower months. I will look at the dinning chairs. I assumed it's just a matter of tighten up the screws since heavy use will tend to loosen up from time to time. These issues could have been resolved quickly had I been informed upon check in. As for the AC, most beach front properties in the Gulf area will recommend setting the thermostat no lower than 70 degrees due to the high humidity. And if the balcony door is left open for an extended period of time, this will cause the ac unit to freeze up. Again, thanks for your feedback.

Calypso Panama City Beach

I’m not sure I would stay at this property again. We waited several times over 35 minutes for an elevator to get us to the 20th floor. Not enough carts for moving luggage and other things from vehicle to room on checkin day or checkout day. Our room was good other than we were without A/C for 3 days and I was left acting as the property manager to deal with it. Property owner reimbursed me $200 total which I don’t think is adequate after being without A/C for 3days especially when it cost me over $500 a day to stay there. The owners never once contacted me asking how things were or if the problem was fixed.When I told him that I felt that wasn’t adequate after talking to other owners of different properties they told me it wasn’t fair since was out A/C for the 3 days during the hottest time of the year.
