Beech Mtn and the surrounding areas have been through a lot with Helene. There are many local businesses and restaurants that count on tourism to stay open and pay their employees. Our house had no damages and is ready to rent! We are easily accessible off the paved parkway and minutes from the slopes. Let us know if you have ?s about what is open in our area before booking.

Family adventure, romantic getaway or relaxing break - At Bear Branch you can do it all. We are nestled in the woods with amazing mountain views and the perfect location to chill or thrill. In winter months Beech Mtn is a wonderland with skiing, sledding, and plenty of cozy fires to warm by. Summertime allows you to hike the many local trails, zip line, golf, visit wineries, ride an alpine coaster, or visit a local festival/concert. We invite you to our bit of paradise to reconnect and recharge.

Our mountain cabin boasts a unique layout. All bedrooms are located on the lower level along with two full bathrooms. The upper level is a great open room including fireplace, living/dining, kitchen space with bar, and a 1/2 bathroom. The two levels are connected by a charming spiral staircase. A tree stands tall in the center of the great room and the views are magnificent all the way around. Firewood for the stone fireplace is provided outside as you go upstairs to enter the property. We provide a starter kit of supplies for the kitchen and bathroom (see Welcome Guide for details). Two levels of decking offer vistas of the mountains and wooded areas surrounding our home. Downstairs includes 4 bedrooms with 2 on each side of the hallway and 2 full bathrooms, with one on each end. ***Currently remodeling and will now have updated walk-in shower. Pictures coming soon! *** The hot tub is located on the lower deck with easy access from the bedroom.

Guests will have access to the entire property - with the exception of locked owners closets. There is a security camera on the front of the home facing the parking area. It is for security and to add motion activated lighting to the entrance of the home. It in no way views any areas of the home guests would be using.

We welcome your dog (as we know ours are members of the family) but please limit to one or two dogs weighing no more than 120 lbs altogether (unless given approval). Exceptions may apply for known aggressive/restricted breeds. A non-refundable pet fee applies. Dogs must be on a leash at all times when outside of the home. No cats or other animals allowed. To add one or two pets to the reservation, please select "I am traveling with pets" and the pet fee is automatically added to the host fees.

*The spiral staircase that connects the upper and lower level on the interior may be a bit tricky for small children, those with mobility issues, or pets. But there is easy access to both levels via the exterior stairs.

**Please note that while we are located only 4 tenths of a mile from the ski resort, this route is not conducive to walking. It can be very busy with lots of curves, snow banks, and does not have sidewalks. If you prefer to make the walk, one option is to go up the slight incline of our road (10 min) and you can get to the new beginner slope (Carolina Caribbean). We can provide directions if you wish to walk.
