This is a very serene place with an amazing view looking over the hills and valleys toward the Shrine of Cabrini. It's a special location. The kitchen and bath is well equipped. Even the shower has a window with the view!

The property was as advertised; peaceful and clean and scenic. Sitting on the back porch with coffee or adult beverage, enjoying the bucolic view, was a particular delight. Access to Red Rocks was a breeze. We even saw a flock of wild turkeys.

A Fantastic Getaway

My friends and I booked this property for a trip to see a show at Red Rocks, and it was perfect! Fantastic location, super clean, plenty of space, and well stocked with towels and basics.

Quiet, beautiful retreat

Beautiful, quiet property to rest and recharge. Comfortable furnishings, nice kitchen if you chose to cook, and views for days. A perfect location to explore all of the surrounding areas - from Vail and Breckenridge down to Morrison, Evergreen, and Golden. Had a great visit - can’t wait to return!

Great place to get over the jet lag and start our road trip.

Nestled on the side of a valley Mountain Meadows is a beautiful location to start our journey. Close enough to Golden, Denver and the surrounding parks but also out of the way enough to be quiet, relaxing and at one with nature. When we return to Colorado this is definitely a place we will stay again.

Great Location for a red rocks concert

My wife and I loved our stay. We attended a concert at the Red Rocks and the location could not be beat. It was only a 10 minute drive to the venue. Highly recommend.

Thanksgiving family vacation

We loved the view. Saw deer and elk every morning. It was our first time in a guest house below the main house that was occupied so that was a bit different. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need. The only thing that was awkward is the shower. Very small area when stepping out onto it and it gets slippery.

Wonderful stay on Lookout Mountain!

Becky and Scott have created an amazing place for their guests. The property is very spacious and comfortable. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into making this a great rental. Everything is nicely organized with a well- stocked kitchen and bath as well as full washer and dryer. Beds are very comfortable. My dog and I spent 10 days with them. The views are amazing - quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife. Saw elk, foxes, rabbits and lots and lots of birds. Good hiking in the vicinity. It’s only 20 mins or so to Golden and about 35-40 to downtown Denver. I would highly recommend and hope to stay there again!

Beautiful location and quiet, comfortable home. The scenery and herd of elk that passed through were a highlight! The only issue we had was with the youtube TV, but that wasn’t a high priority for us. Close enough to Denver and Golden to make day trips easy, but still feel “away from it all.” Would definitely enjoy staying here again!

This is a lovely, spacious, and clean home

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mountain Meadows. The check-in was flawless, accommodations were better than pictured, television apps were available, and the place was cooled upon arrival. All areas of the rental were exceptionally clean!! Communication was wonderful and directions to the location were spot-on. We spent most of our free time sitting on the porch enjoying the view and the natural surroundings. Thank you.

Serene with beautiful views

The listing is very accurate. There is so much to like about this property. Wildlife is abundant and the room layout is practical. It’s close to civilization but such a nice retreat. All the appliances worked well and the patio furniture seemed brand new. There is also a delicious French bakery just a few minutes drive from here. We enjoyed hilly walks in the neighborhood. The views are truly unbeatable.

Loved every second we stayed here. This place is so awesome, it’s got that little extra so I give it an 11. Incredibly quiet, peaceful and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. A very ahort drive to Red Rocks. This is the place I will be staying when I visit CO next time!

Awesome Place

The property was great, we had everything we needed, the setting was very peaceful and serene. The owners were great, very responsive and even texted us when a herd of bison was nearby. We saw elk and mule deer every day of our stay in the pastures behind the house. The patio area was great for morning coffee and afternoon beverages. The location was great with hiking trails nearby, and Golden and Red Rocks very close. We had a great stay. Highly recommend.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We love this property for the natural beauty, quietness, expansive space and the fact that we are only 45 minutes to the airport for family and friends. It is the best of both worlds.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The unit is conveniently located to Red Rocks, Denver, Golden, Evergreen, Rocky Mountain National Park and the Garden of the Gods but stil feels like it is away from it all. After spending the day with activities coming back to the patio and relaxing is a vacation in and of itself.
