Condo was ok. Definitely needs a few updates. Check in was suppose to be at 4. We arrived at 4:30 and the registration desk was already closed so we couldn't get pool or parking passes until the next day. When we got up to the room the code in the app didn't work and we had to call to have the code text to us. When we entered, the room was not as clean as we would have expected for what we paid. A previous guest from August as well as July had left a review about the floor boards being buckled in the main room and they were still buckled when we arrived in October. If you have small children or older adults with you as we did this is very much a safety hazard. Our 4 year old as well as my Mother tripped or fell numerous times on the floor boards as well as the lifted wooden strip separating the kitchen and living area. There were items from previous guests left in the rooms such as trash, ping pong balls, hair in the tubs as well as a pacifier in one of the beds which prompted us to wash all bed covers as soon as we could. The lock out room had a strong smell of smoke as well as animal urine. The small refrigerator was extremely loud which would wake us up at night. It is advertised that the couch in the lockout room pulls out to a twin size but.....but there is no mattress. We sent a message asking why there wasn't a mattress and once again, no response. We sent an email with photos of the condition of the condo but never got a response. After enjoying a day out we came back to the condo and our son fell in a puddle of water that was coming from the closet with the air intake and water heater. The drum under the water heater was full of water so we had to place towels inside and outside of the door to keep the floor from having puddles running out onto the tile. We also called to report this issue and never had anyone come to check unless they came while we were gone but it was still leaking when we checked out on out last day. Sadly we did not enjoy our stay in this unit and will look at other options if and when we return to Splash.
