Vi ligger 3 miles från Houghton. Vi är mindre än en halv mil från Bill Nicholls-leden. Vi är nära MTU och Finlandia universitet. Flera skidspår i närheten. Mount Ripley ligger bara några minuter bort. Världsberömda Mount Bohemia och Copper Harbor cykelleder inom en timmes bilresa.
Vi sover 20. Sängar tillgängliga för 19 med soffa i studio. 2 duschar utan badkar. Stor Smart TV i gemensamt område och WIFI tillgängligt. Coles Creek går igenom fastigheten. Perfect weekend with the family! Great location to explore so much nearby and still feel out in the woods. Views from the deck are gorgeous, kids loved having basketball and the stars were unbelievable! Lots of room for bigger groups to spread out and have their own space too. The upstairs loft area is separate enough for some piece or for the kids to enjoy without being isolated. Both Sarah and Bruce are extremely kind and responsive. A all around!

Check-in was smooth and easy. The hosts were very quick to respond and easy to communicate with regarding any questions. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed and had 2 ovens for cooking plus a blackstone outside. Having our 3 families together we had plenty of space for sleeping, cooking and we loved the basketball court out back for the kids to play on.

It's a great place to stay especially for a group. We took turns cooking our evening meal and the kitchen amenities and size made it very convenient. I could even say amazing. Having two indoor gathering areas - upstairs and downstairs as well as the dining room table really worked out nicely. Great outdoors also. And, again multiple gathering areas. Most of our group was in our 70's but I could see there would be plenty of things to entertain young children as well as young adults.

Family visit to MTU

Great Stay at Coles Creek

Nice log home with short drive to Houghton and Hancock, with McClain State Park beach being about 20 min drive. Creek on property has many small brook trout but did catch a 10". We also visited Porcupine Mountains, Calumet, Hungarian Falls, and Copper Harbor. Jogged on the path along canal each morning. The property owner was great to work with. Overall a great property and good location for exploring the peninsula..

A Michigan Tech Tour!

My dad went to Tech and his soon-to-be college age grandkids wanted to tour the university. The house had a basketball court, a sauna, and a perfect set up for playing cards and game. It was stocked with every last thing that we needed. Thank you to Bruce and Sarah. They were the perfect hosts! All 13 of us loved it!

Very comfortable - has everything!

Bruce and Sarah have a lovely home, it felt like our own! The place is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well (minus our own groceries) and there were plenty of towels too for our group of 14. WiFi was fast and check in was a breeze. Thank you - Would love to stay here again!!!

Nice and cozy family mini vacation!

Super nice and clean cabin! We’ve book this cabin to celebrate New Year with family. We were hoping to rent snowmobiles and go to ski to Mt Ripley , but unfortunately there wasn’t snow, and even though we had a great time in that place. The cabin was big enough for 14 people, it was clean, stuffed with all necessary equipment and spices and coffee and tea, even shampoo and conditioner:) Also there was so many games for kids. Sauna was a great bonus. The property was in the wood , so we went with kids for hiking. Checking and checkout process was super easy. I highly recommend this cabin and host. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to come back again for snowmobiling:)

The house was close enough to Houghton (8 minutes to downtown) for all the great restaurants and shops, but far enough away where you are surrounded by woods and secluded. Perfect location to get away and enjoy nature.

Attentive property manager

Our group had a great stay. Our only complaint was that in mid August, the house got pretty warm on the days that the weather was hot. Overall we were very comfortable and our group loved the sauna!

Cozy Get-a-way

Our whole family of 16, ages 1 through 70, enjoyed staying at this unique log cabin. So many fun spaces in the house to play and talk. Close to town so grocery shopping was quick and easy. So many fun places to go. We just enjoyed every day of the week and the host was so prompt when we had questions.
