Houghton Canal Rocky Shores Retreat

Nyare hem på Portage Canal med vacker utsikt. Eldstad, grill, äta utomhus.
Stort och rymligt. Fullt utrustat kök. Central luftkonditionering, WIFI och kabel-TV. Lantligt men ändå nära till staden (3 miles från alla sevärdheter, restauranger, universitet, shopping etc.) Allt du behöver ta med är mat, tvål och toalettartiklar. Vi har gott om parkering för trailers och snöskoter maskiner.
Bokningar är från lördag till lördag (15-30 juni, juli och augusti) september-15 juni är en 2-dagars vistelse.

Mine Shaft och Husky Chair Lift kan vara värda att kolla in om du har aktiviteter på programmet, och den som föredrar att uppleva områdets vackra natur kan utforska Lake Superior och Isle Royale Houghton Visitor Center. Memorial weekend UTV Ride

It was a great place to stay for our group of 6 couples. There was plenty of room for us. The property is beautiful and right on the canal. Plenty of room to park all of our trucks and large trailers. Easy access to the trails.

Ski weekend in Houghton

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Great communication, convenient location but not too busy. Plenty of room for 7 adults too. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the canal house. Plenty of room for sleeping, and very clean. All the kitchen appliances you might need. A central location for all of our destinations.

Cozy and great location

We had 8 in our group which was perfect for us to have plenty of space to move around and everyone got their own bed. It was a good location to do all the sight seeing that we had planned. The hosts were very easy to communicate with.

Annual Getaway

Our annual getaway was phenomenal. The property was exactly what we were looking for. More than enough space for all of us. Incredibly clean and well stocked (kitchen, bathrooms, laundry). The sauna was a big hit. Swimming was excellent and location was convenient. We would absolutely stay again.

Great house

We stayed here for a week with two big family’s. Enough room for all. Beautiful location close to copper harbor and Brockway mountain drive, a must see when your this far north. Definitely exceeded expectations and the owner was very helpful and sweet

Portage Lake Paradise

We loved the property and the hosts. It is perfect for a larger group. The kids swam pretty much every day. We enjoyed our evenings around the fire pit. The hosts were very responsive and not intrusive. I highly recommend this property.

The Best

Houghton is my favorite city in Michigan. Lori and Phil have a beautiful house on the canal. Very clean and organized, and had additional items such as spices and coffee! I love the curtains, and the ships passing. I never wanted to leave! Lori and Phil again! Thank you!

Group hiking trip

We had a group of 11 stay at the Houghton Canal Rocky Shore Retreat for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We were close enough to all the hiking we wanted to do and even dinner in downtown. The house was clean and well organized and our hosts were incredibly kind and communicative. We cannot recommend this place enough!!

Portage Lake getaway

The home is perfect for a big group, great deck overlooking the water, nice dock on the water and the host's are fantastic.
