Amazing Villa

We had the most wonderful time on our extended family vacation. Villa was awesome with stunning views. It was perfect. Close to Sorrento but also in Massa Lubrense for a real Italian feel. Highly recommended. Owner and his staff were attentive and helpful when needed.

Stunning

Absolutely the best part of our 13 days visiting Italy was staying 3 nights at the villa. Amazing view and house was perfect and clean. We only wished we had more time to spend at the villa. Francesco and Anna were very informative and responsive to any questions we had. Miss it already!!

Lovely spot

The villa had incredible views and was very spacious. Check in and check out was very easy. The host also helped a lot with recommendations. If you’re looking for a space for a large group, this villa is a great bang for the price.

Panoramic views

A beautiful property with an amazing view & unforgettable sunsets. A little off the beaten track. We visited Pompei & Ercolano, but gave up on Naples because of the heat & traffic. Wonderful walks to the small port for drinks or dinner. The kitchen for 14 of us was under equipped.

Family Vacation 2024

We had a wonderful time at the Villa. The view was spectacular. I would say the Villa does need some updating. The showers had very low pressure and noticed leaking on one shower and another one had a broken pipe that was repaired the next day. Overall it was a wonderful and Memorable vacation.

A lovely and memorable vacation

Our host, Francesco, was exceptionally communicative and helpful, escorting us to the home and showing us around the property. He also provided numerous recommendations (shopping, restaurants, excursions, etc) to make our stay more enjoyable. Our teenagers loved being a few minutes from the shore, We swam, cooked, relaxed, and enjoyed that amazing view, and wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing views

Our family of 15 stayed for 5 nights. All homes in area are off small, winding roads but we were able to get our two, 9-passenger vans to the property and parked onsite. Lots of stairs but manageable. New pool was a great surprise. Home amenities were not as luxurious as the views. Access to Massa Lubrense and Sorrento was easy to navigate. Markets/restaurants are close by and food/grocery delivery is available. Francesco was fantastic. Quick response and resolution to questions and minor issues in home.

Amazing Views

Francesco was very communicative before our stay. We booked the house almost a year ago and to our surprise, it had a pool when we checked in. We were a party of 7 and the house was great for our needs, although I would recommend staggering showers so you have enough hot water. Although beautiful, the location isn't really walkable to anything other than the local beach, so you need to either rent a car or hire a taxi/car service. Francesco's recommended car service worked great for us. As already noted, there are a lot of stairs to get up to the house.

Sorentino Coast vacation home

Beautiful property with stunning views. Beware, there are a lot of steps to climb. The main negative was that we had to scrub the fridge interior clean due to black mildew inside. Also, not one of the drip coffee machines worked. For the amount we paid I would expect the fridge to be clean and the appliances to be working.

Upgrades Needed

Kitchen frying pans need to be replaced. Dishwasher did not work. Stove top does not have a lighter that works. Electric power was over loaded with air conditioners and tripped the circuit breaker several times. Refrigerator seemed to be not cold enough. Need bigger ice cube trays. Ants everywhere. A multitude of steps up to the villa. Tremendous views of the ocean. Richard

Nice BUT.....................

While this home is huge and in decent shape it has many flaws that were not listed on the website. The house has a total of one fan for all the rooms, that is ONE fan not one for each room. The weather was extremely hot and humid which made living in this house for 5 days miserable. There was one air conditioner in one bedroom. That made this room the most popular. This was great BUT it caused the other major problems with this house that were unacceptable, the power went out in the house numerous times during the day and night. The owner sent people out to look at this problem but did nothing to fix it. He acted like this was the first time he had every heard of this problem. His family has owned this home for over 50 years, I have a hard time accepting that he has never had electrical issues before this week. One other strange issue was that fact that the owner would only supply one roll of toliet paper for each bathroom. We asked for more but we were told that we would have to buy more if needed. I have never heard of something like this before. The owner did not list the fact that access to this home is up 5 flights of stone steps. While I suppose this was not the fault of the owner the house was overun by ants. He supplied poison to kill them which worked but we had poison powder all over the kitchen everyday. We were also over run by mosquitos day and night. Again not the fault of the owner but becasue of the heat day and night and the lack of fans we had to leave the doors and windows open 24 hours a day. The mosquitos would not have been an issue if the owners would put screens on the doors and windows. I would say one of the best assets was the beach was walking distance. I am giving the house 2 stars because it was clean and the beach was close. While Francisco was a great guy I am sorry to say that I would not recommend this house to my friends.

Tout s’est bien passé. Nous avons aimé notre séjour. Comme nous sommes des familles françaises, nous aimons la cuisine. La cuisine manqué d’ustensiles pour cuisiner, nous avons dû acheter des plats à tartes, à cake, pas d’essoreuse à salades, ….et il faudrait un réfrigérateur de plus! Sinon tout était bien et la vue superbe! Nous serions prêts à revenir!

Stunning

You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Francesco is an excellent communicator and if we had an issue or a question he addressed it very quickly. The views of Napoli and Capri are awesome and there is nothing like sitting on the deck drinking coffee and watching the boats take off from the harbor or the sun setting with a limoncello spritz. The rooms were well appointed and most of the bathrooms were modernized. The pool is clean and in a nice sunny spot on the property. There is a 2 car garage that was able to hold out VW Transporter with ease. It's 4o some steps from the garage the front door, but well worth the little hike. The drive off of the main road is steep and narrow but after a few navigations you get used to it. If you are going to utilize any shuttles they stay at the top and it is a hike to get there. We took the steps down to the sea to explore and it is rocky, however there are a few sheltered areas for swimming or sunbathing. It is a short walk down the beach (walkways the whole way) to the marina where you can enjoy 3 different restaurants. The ping pong table and fooseball table were a hit with our family as well. All in all, we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone except those impaired by walking handicaps.

Property is lovely (lots of stairs!!) overlooking the sea. Kitchen is small, but adequate.

Host was there to greet us! Attentive to our needs/requests. Offered dining spots, locally. Property difficult for taxis to find, but that was also part of the charm. House is on multi levels, not wheelchair accessible or for people with an inability to climb. Beautiful porches off the house, facing the sea. Some noisy neighbors (we had sleeping babies in our group) and two dogs barking constantly (not the host’s issue), but it was annoying! Access to a beach a 5 minute walk from house: bring water shoes (rocky, but beautiful). House well-equipped with air conditioners! Every bedroom had a bathroom!! We paid extra for “sea towels” which is a must! Internet slow with lots of users, but it eased at night when fewer people were on it (we had people working while we were on vacation). No dryer on property. Adequate drying yard. Found washer to be fickle at times. Would be helpful to have two washers on a property this size! We loved our stay and would recommend this property for a large group! The sunsets were soooo lovely! Host is lovely! Property is well maintained!

Great location!

Location was fantastic and the villa was beautiful. Full of helpful amenities, including kitchen supplies, beach supplies, and A/C! Would absolutely recommend to someone looking to find a more quaint spot in Amalfi. One thing to note is there are MANY steep stairs and hills.

Outstanding location, beautiful views, lots of room

We had a great stay! Our two families, totaling 9, had plenty of room in the house. The bedrooms were great…cold AC and hot showers. We also enjoyed the incredible views on the large deck and comfortable chairs. We would sit on that deck for hours looking at the Mediterranean. The house is also a short drive from Sorrento.

Vacances à massa lubrense

Notre séjour s ‘est très bien passé avec l ‘aide précieuse de Daniella .La côte amalfitaine est magnifique .L accueil des italiens chaleureux. La villa a beaucoup de charme avec ses grandes terrasses et la vue est somptueuse !!! Nos chambres avaient une vue sur la mer les salles de bain sont neuves.Le parc est très beau avec une variété de plantes méditerranéennes.L’accès à la mer est très proche la baignade n est pas très aisée (Rocher) comme sur toute la côte.Notre seul bémol,facile à corriger ,est la propreté des extérieurs terrasses et mobiliers ,de la vaisselle et l aération de la villa qui sentait le renfermé à notre arrivée . Nous recommandons vivement cette location .

Un panorama indimenticabile

La casa è davvero bella, spaziosa e comoda. Il proprietario gentilissimo e disponibile. Praticamente tutto perfetto, tranne due piccolissimi nei: la discesa a mare non è realmente privata né comodissima e poi, trattandosi di una casa di campagna, bisogna tenere presenti che ci saranno numerose visite di zanzare e formiche. Però davvero, tolte queste due cose, un soggiorno fantastico.
