Great place to stay in Manson

We stayed here last year also. That means a lot to stay some place again! We love the location, the room abd that we could bring our dog. Only problem was the 2nd bathroom tub clogged up. Couldnt get them to fix it until we were leaving. Everything else is perfect stay some place a second year!

Nice bungalow. Very quiet neighborhood

We found our unit very clean. A quiet neighborhood in October. Nice appliances. A well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Our only complaint, was we had to reset the WiFi 3 0f the 5 mornings we stayed. A nice fenced in backyard for our small dog euiped with puppy poop bags.

Great stay

House was plenty big enough for 6 of us. It was very clean. Pillows in the primary bedroom weren't great and felt like sand bags. House was a great location and walkable to town and the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Great long weekend getaway!

Well appointed home near the center of everything in Manson. We were able to walk back and forth to hydrofest without having to go far or live out of a car. Great kitchen! Hope to book this place again!

Perfect Location

This house is awesome. We enjoyed the view of the lake while being able to walk to everything in Manson. Loved the big table and it had everything we needed for a long weekend. Great communication.

Home away from it all

Spent the last few days here with my family as cope with the passing of my father. Lake Chelan has always been our place to go when life gets too tough. Your home was wonderful. Great lay-out. Great backyard for my dogs. Fully fenced in. Walking distance to the lake for swimming, the marina where we mooraged our boat and downtown Manson. Walked up to the farmers market and for coffee Saturday morning which was great. My mom even walked to church Sunday morning with a recommendation from the owners sister, who stopped by their storage area. Will definitely be back and highly recommend

The area was really nice and the house was great! However, we could not get the TV to work the way that we wanted to watch a game! I could not find any information on how to contact the owners. Usually in the information book in all the places that I’ve stayed there’s a phone number and the owners were easy to reach After I left on Sunday, my friends we’re finally able to reach somebody and they wanted me to say that the technician guy that came over was fantastic and really did a good job. Could not get the TV to go to what they wanted to watch but did set it up on their iPad for them.

Nice House but may prefer owner managed properties

The house is as described. Clean and well stocked with essentials. Location is also good, just a block from the lake. It is managed by Vacasa. They did a decent job but there were just a few things where we felt the experience may be different if it’s managed by a local owner. We wanted to go to the water park at Chelan on our arrival date but we carried our owned kayak and paddle board in our car. We were wondering if we could just drop the outdoor gears off in the yard after the morning check out time but before our check in time, so our car does not park in the parking lot of water park with all these gears on it. We did not need to go inside the house. We were told that we could not. My daughter could not find her glasses after we got home so we were wondering if she left it in the house. We asked the property manager if they can check, and there is a fee of $25 plus tax to check for lost items whether it’s found or not. I was charged 2 days ago but have not heard whether they have found it or not. I assume someone is staying in the house currently so they could not check yet. I understand they have different people working with many houses and they have to follow their procedures. The $25 fee was disclosed in their email communications. It’s just our experience with owner managed vacation homes are usually more personable with some flexibility. We may prefer owner managed properties in the future.

A change of scenery

A change of scenery. Our family is from the west side of the mountains where life sometimes can feel very hectic and crowded. The cottage was a beautiful change of scenery with the surrounding mountains and the partial Lakeview. There was plenty of room to sit around and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen is a very nice space with a large table to enjoy morning coffee and meals. We were not disappointed by the arrangement of bedrooms, bathrooms and supplied linens/towels. The weather was a little on the cool side but we did enjoy one afternoon sitting out in the yard on comfortable lawn furniture while our dog played in the grassy, partially fenced backyard. The cottage is located conveniently near the downtown area of Manson and Manson park where we walked several times a day. We enjoyed lunch at blueberry Hills Farm a short 6 miles drive from the cottage and Easter lunch at Campbell’s resort in Lake Chelan. We had a restful change of scenery. We look forward to another visit in the near future.

Cute house

The vibe of the house was great. Loved the open kitchen, rooms were great. The downfall was the lack of kitchen amenities. Ended up having to share utensils while cooking and missing things like hot pads, plastic wrap, etc. Will stay here again but will pack my own kitchen amenities.

Worked out ok, but lots of inconveniences

The house ended up working out ok for our trip. But there were quite a few things that would have made it more comfortable and easy. We didn't get the number of towels needed for 7 people staying for 5 days (although they did bring more for us); 2 of 3 lights in a bedroom didn't work and were never fixed (though maintenance was scheduled to fix them on our second day ); we cooked many meals here and there was no Tupperware, plastic bags, plastic wrap or ways to store leftovers; very few cooking utensils; and I couldn't even find a piece of paper to write on - but I did finally find a pen in a random drawer. There are other things like the key being really difficult to get out of the deadbolt and the old owners of the house hanging out in the backyard for an hour after we got there at the 4pm check-in time - that was really weird!!

Charming Home!

First, the house is right off the main street in downtown Manson, just about a half a block down a street. If you're in the front yard you can see the lake for sure. The neighborhood has stray cats all over, it was entertaining to count them on walks! The front of the house has a gorgeous rose arch. When we sat outside we had many comments telling us how pretty "our roses" were. :) I would suggest to Vacasa to have the AC on in the house for guests as they arrive, plus thermostat instructions. It was very stuffy and hot. There wasn't instructions on how to turn it on. After some playing around with the thermostat, we got it working, made all the difference. Another reviewer mentioned there weren't much supplies. We had 1 roll of paper towels for 5 days, and 2 kitchen size garbage bags. For 5 days there's lots of fruit to dry, and we had lots of garbage with take out and groceries. The kids bedroom with 2 bunk beds is kind of small. Our 2 teens decided they didn't want to share, so the other one went into the third bedroom. The master bedroom is facing east, so a sunny summer morning it's a bit bright. The bathrooms are updated. There's one tv in the house and it's in the family room. We brought our own apple TV setup to watch movies. The backyard is super cute, my kids played frisbee out there. The location to downtown Manson is perfect! We walked to coffee, restaurants, and wineries so easy. We decided that this setup would be too cramped for 2 families, but does sleep 2 in master, 4 in kids, 1-2 in 3rd bedroom. I didn't see anywhere on Vacasa listing on what was included in the house, like a hair dryer (which they did have). That information could be helpful. The longer we stayed in the house, the more we all were loving it. My husband says he wants to stay there again!

Cute House

No trouble finding, parking, or getting in the home, even in the dark. The location is perfect for family walks or hitting a few tasting rooms in town. For the $100. cleaning fee the house was fine. They really should get someone in for a deep cleaning, baseboards, windows, wall scuffs, etc. We had some ants in the master bathroom, no hand soap anywhere, and no wine screw. We replenished, can't leave the next family without. Especially, a wine screw in wine country! haha

Good location

The place is walking distance from where we rented our boat and jet skis so that was great! Upon arrival we were greeted with a overfill garbage can on the curb, like it was trash day so we didn’t think too much about it. We had a har time getting into the house! As the new day greeted us, the trash can was still not emptied so we sat with a huge black bag full of trash in the house our entire stay. I tried contacting the place and they finally got back to me like the last night we were there to tell me mainywoul be by to pick it up. They never showed up, the morning of our check out the trash company came but it not cool at all!
