Idealiskt beläget mellan Caen la mer och Suisse Normande i Sainte Honorine du Fay, har din stuga precis blivit totalrenoverad. Det är en oas av fred i hjärtat av en fastighet vars familjehistoria går tillbaka till 1500-talet. Bestående av en byggnad som bifogas slottet, logi, med kapacitet för mottagning av 10/11 personer har alla bekvämligheter av komfort som önskas: 3 föräldra rum med sina badrum eller med bifogad dusch. 2 sovrum vardera består av 2 och 3 separata sängar. Ett spelrum med biljard och bordfotboll. Ett vardagsrum / matsal med soffor och en stor öppen spis, trä finns! Ett nytt kök och fullt utrustat med ugn, mikrovågsugn, kombinerad kyl / frys, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin / torktumlare. WC i DRC och på golvet. WiFI på plats. Utanför: privat trädgård på gården sida med uteservering och grill. Åtkomst genom att korsa Castle Park (parken är privat) till poolen och dess poolhus (solstolar finns) och tennisbana syntetiskt gräs. Poolen är vanligtvis öppen från maj till september, beroende på vädret! Pingis och cyklar på begäran, parkering på plats. Våra hundvänner är välkomna med ett litet tillskott.

Spring rural getaway

This property was absolutely perfect for us. We loved the country setting, the proximity to the village with its boulangerie and butcher, and the relatively easy access to a number of great sites (Bayeux, Falaise, the D-Day beaches). The property was extremely well equipped and comfortable. We loved the kitchen and living areas that let our family gather together for meals and socializing. There was also enough private space for people to retreat for quiet time. The pool table got lots of use. Philippe, the caretaker, was a wealth of information — and fresh eggs. The owners were extremely helpful as needed. All in all, a fantastic property for those who love a beautiful rural setting with history.

Fabulous, magical, beautiful, French country side setting. We explored Normandy and at the same time we were able to relish our time at the Clos, swimming, games, walking to and swimming in the river yet most important our time with our family could not have taken place in a more wonderful setting. Heel fijne vakabtie

Ondanks het mindere weer was het een heel ontspannende vakantie. Het zwembad met prachtig zicht op de velden is zeker een meerwaarde.we waren met 7 volwassenen en 4 kinderen tussen 3 en 6 jaar. Ze hebben zich geen moment verveeld. Er zijn ook heel veel mogelijkheden voor uitstappen, wandelingen, Romeinse site, kastelen, maisdoolhof…. We komen nog terug !

Normandie visit

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We were very comfortable and enjoyed using the game room. The kitchen was very well equipped. The surrounding property is very picturesque. The hosts and the caretaker were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity to return to the area.

Stunningly Beautiful Property and Location

After a week and a half in crowded, bustling Paris, our group of seven-ranging in ages from 32 to 85-was ready for the quiet of the Normandy countryside. And this lovely guest house was perfect for our needs. Nicely appointed rooms and modern baths— all very clean and spacious. The grounds are beautiful and the location worked well for our trips to the D-Day sites, Falaise, and Mont St Michel. Philippe, the caretaker, is a treasure. He was so welcoming and solicitous—making sure we had everything we needed. Our memories of Philippe and Clos de Bretteville will always bring smiles to our faces. We wish we could have stayed longer. Merci Alexis & Philippe!

We enjoyed our stay in the Country after 5 busy days in Paris. The grounds are beautiful and Phillipe the grounds keeper was wonderful and helpful. The place is spacious and clean. The bathrooms are renovated and up to date. We were a party of 6 adults. We even got to enjoy the clean and sparkling pool. My only suggestion would be portable fans for the bedrooms. You cannot control the weather and it was 91 degrees when we visited and the bedrooms were all upstairs so it was quite toasty.

Amazing stay in a serene location

Jaw dropping grounds, perfect BBQ area. Beautiful pool and covered seating area. Well decorated, airy, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Pool table/ping pong tables were a bonus. Perfect all around for a chilled holiday for the whole family aged from 4 to 77. Would definitely recommend

Holiday 2023

The house was in a lovely setting and had lots of things to do especially for the children. If i was to say anything negative it would be that it could do with a welcome pack milk,bread teabags etc because we never saw a shop open in the village and supermarket was a drive away. To sum it up it was very peaceful and restful.

A lovely property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very comfortable with lots of character (a cozy French cottage with modern updates). Plenty of space for the five of us and activities to keep kids away from their screens. Grounds were lovely as well. Location is convenient with multiple markets within short drive and proximity to Caen, Bayeux and the Normandy coast. If we were to return to the region (so much more to see..) we would not hesitate to book again.

On recommande vraiment

Tout d'abord, on a apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de Philippe qui nous a fait découvrir les lieux et tous les équipements mis à notre disposition pendant notre séjour. J'insisterai sur la salle de jeux avec billard et baby-foot (qui a fait le bonheur des ados et de leurs parents), la piscine chauffée (un vrai plaisir pour toute la famille). La localisation aussi permet de visiter tant les plages du débarquement que la "Suisse Normande" . Bref il y a vraiment de quoi faire.

Accueil extrêmement chaleureux et bienveillant de Philippe. La maison est à la hauteur de nos attentes!!! Ambiance très "cosy"avec un beau feu ouvert ( bois fourni par Philippe (: ), cuisine très bien équipée, maison tout confort ( literie de très bonne qualité) grand calme et de nombreuses activités très appréciées par nos jeunes ( billard, kicker et table de ping-pong) Un tout grand merci pour ce beau sejour 🙏 Les familles Alexandre et Clairembourg
