A fantastic get away for families!! Quiet, relaxing and plenty of things to do close by! Loved having breakfast on the deck while enjoying the amazing view of the lake!!!!!!! The house was beautiful!!!!!! Didn’t want to leave!!!

Our Home Away from Home

This is the 4th time we've stayed at this beautiful property, and can't wait to go back next summer. My 4 grandchildren (7,9,11 & 13) had an incredible time, and my daughter & son-in-law loved their down time. And I love the convenient location & incredible view of the lake- and seeing my family so happy!

Eclipse 2024

We had a great time visiting Lake Erie and Port Clinton for the eclipse! The house was clean, well stocked and exactly as described. We enjoyed being able to walk most places as everything was quite convenient. The house had a great layout which doesn't quite show in the pictures. The kids had a blast in the upstairs area with the twin beds, bathroom and a loft room with futon and TV. The adults stayed on the main floor and had our own living room. We hope to visit again when it's warmer!

Panoramic view of Lake Erie

We had a pleasant winter stay at Colette's place. This property has a stunning 180-degree panoramic view of Lake Erie. We saw Bald Eagles and other wildlife right from the living room. Colette lives out of state, but manages the property very professionally. Internet service worked well. Location is basically right on the main road into town, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We treasured our time here and would happily stay again.

Lovely Visit

We love staying in PC every summer and decided to try a new house. Beautiful home. Spacious. Clean. Stunning views of the lake with access to a small beach. It was just 3 of us, so plenty of room to spread out but we usually ended up on the main floor playing board games and enjoying the many windows facing out on the lake. Sunsets, Jetskis, boaters…. Just what we needed…. We hope to go back next summer!!!

This was our third visit in three years and we expect to be back next year. The property is as described but better. Deck is literally”on”the water and terrific for coffee in the morning and happy hour. When it rains or the deck is too hot in late afternoon, the covered area on the garage level is terrific (where the grill is) and since you can access it through the garage, you can avoid the rain. There are beach chairs, floats, and some toys for kids. Water is very shallow and good for kids. Grandkids also loved the pool. If you like wildlife, you will like the Great Egret that flies by in the morning several times, the occasional Blue Heron, and the daily treks of geese. Great sunsets. Truly lovely and conveniently close to grocery stores and other essentials. The property is a short drive from restaurants, Catawba Island and the ferries to Put-in-Bay, Kelleys Island and other islands. While on the property it feels like you are way from everything although you are just off a Main Street. Great perch dinner at Docks (5 minute drive) and terrific food and local wine at Gideon Owens (10-12 minutes way). I was not expecting to like local wine but it is very good. Also close to Cedar Point - best amusement park ever. The host Colette is extremely responsive and really great to deal with.

Weekend get-away

We enjoyed this nice home in an area that offered a wide variety of things to do -- we could choose to be busy or just relax and enjoy the lake views from this home. The furniture and mattresses could do with some updating, but having a private bathoom with each bedroom was nice. Enjoyed the grill as well.

JUST PERFECTION!

Our family of 5 had everything we needed at this amazing condo! The beach access and close proximity to all of the main attractions as well as the jet express was so nice. The pool and hot tub were within walking distance from our condo (literally 100 feet if that) it is shared but was not busy at all. The place was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely return. This place is perfect if you have kids (teenagers included) that do not need exposure to the party life of Put In Bay. We made a day trip over to the bay by jet express. Little pricey but worth it for the quick 30 minute ride. Plenty of things to see and do and kept everyone entertained! Thanks to Collette (our host) for all your great info and quick responses to all of my last minute questions!

Lake Erie waterfront

We enjoyed our stay! Having the beach out the door was wonderful. We could sit on deck and listen to the sound of the waves and think were at the ocean without the long drive. My daughter thought it would have been nice to have 1 of the bathrooms more “public “ on the main level. The members of the family in the two bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms thought the layout was great. I was told we should come back next year and stay here for a week!

LOOK NO FURTHER! We had the BEST time at this house! We have stayed at many vacation rentals and we have never been at a house that is SO clean! Being right on the water was perfect for our 3 little kids. We will most definitely be back!

A graduate of the Ohio State University; we raised our family in Upper Arlington, OH, but moved to Portland OR in 2015. Retired as a Sales Executive from the O.C. Tanner Co after 20 years selling employee recognition products. We have owned our lake house since 1993 and cherish the Lake Erie sunset viewed from our deck. We try to make our lakehouse feel like a home away from home with comfortable and quality furnishings.
