We had a large group, wonderful that everyone has plenty of space and a bed, but good gathering areas and everything you need is there. Great place all around.

Great roomy place for a large group

Clean and lots of bedrooms and baths. This is our 2nd time staying here and it is really great for a group with lots of hang out space and well located for the northern MN area.

Great stay for a big group

The large gathering area and kitchen worked well for after skiing games and commraderie. Close to Giant's Ridge where our family likes to ski. Everyone had space to spread out.

Great location.

We were a group of 16 adults. Great location for riding on the Mesabi bike trail and golfing at Giants Ridge. The house worked great for our group. The manager was very prompt with answering any questions that we had.

Lots of room

We were looking for a location close to Giant's Ridge that would fit our ski team, and this property fit the bill. Plenty of room/beds for a large group.

Making Memories

This VRBO property was the perfect place to bring our family of 16! Plenty of comfortable beds and baths, a generous kitchen, and a gathering space as pictured to share the ski experiences of the day! We hope to do it again next year!

Aurora side x side trip

Veda was wonderful! She spent time helped us with information about the area, as well as understanding the layout of her property. Everyone in our group of 11 people were comfortable and enjoyed their stay. Hoping to return soon.

Over all was good. We were in the area for an atv ride with family and were only in the house for sleeping. Our only disappointment was the air conditioning or lack there of as in the listing it said it was air conditioned and it only had a remote air conditioner on the second floor.

Our impressions

There were some issues. The first night, it was quite cold on the ground floor, and very warm in bedroom 5. There was no shampoo and some bathrooms had no outlets.There were quite a few flies in the house. Some of the coffee cups had cracks. There should be warnings about the steep stairs.

Sports Team Training Event

We brought a high school alpine ski team here to stay two nights and train at Giants Ridge. (They are very responsible high school kids..) We used every bed of 25. We cooked two breakfasts and two dinners. There were boys and girls at the event. The multiple rooms allowed us to separate the genders for sleeping. The kitchen worked great and we were able to conduct a really effective training event for our athletes. This is a great house for a group. Veda is very accommodating and helpful concerning all logistics. We hope to return again.

Holiday Ski Camp

The Dahlin House was the perfect place for the ski team to stay and ski at GiantsRidge for the holiday camp. Nice large kitchen to prepare food for the group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.
