Not the one listed in the photos. It was hot/smelled musty; no a/c units were on when we arrived. One whole bedroom and all adjacent walls had no electricity; the host sent a housekeeper to remedy the next day. As a result, one adult had to sleep in the LR on the couch as it was too hot with no a/c. *Note that they charged us EXTRA for a 3rd guest, the listing says the 2-BR apartment sleeps 4! The electrical issue happened again later in the trip, with a quicker response to fix it.There were spiderwebs (with spiders) in most corners, end tables, and dirt in the tub. The stove was dirty inside. There were cockroaches in the coffee maker, dishwasher, and on the counters. We did not realize this, and we made coffee on our first morning. 2 of us were sick for a day afterwards!We communicated with the host, who did respond; they sent a housekeeper to put sticky traps on the counter. They need an exterminator! Someone called me a few times on behalf of the host. They apologised and offered to move us to another property on our LAST night and offered to cover the cost of the cleaning products we had purchased. (*They charged us for a cleaning fee) This did NOT cover the inconvenience of having to go out to eat for all meals! We had to wash all of our clothes and bag them up, hoping not to bring bugs home! We kept all bags closed at all times. It was honestly a very uncomfortable stay! We hope they can remedy this issue before another person has to experience this.

Tidy, easy, and welcoming.Communications with host were timely and helpful.Location can't be beat - walk to Co-op, bakery and everything downtown, including farmer's market.Will stay again.

My Son's Graduation

I had a truly frustrating and disappointing experience with the managing team. I reached out to the owner two weeks before my scheduled stay to request a reservation change. I followed up not once, but twice — and was met with complete radio silence. Not a single acknowledgment, apology, or explanation. My request was ignored, and the reservation remained exactly as it was. That kind of indifference speaks volumes.As for the property itself — it was marginally livable at best, and overrun with cockroaches. At check-in, we were greeted by two sticky traps full of dead roaches in the kitchen, as if that was supposed to be normal. My son stepped on a cockroach barefoot in the middle of the night on his way to the bathroom.The outdoor patio was completely unusable due to a few wasp nests and a constant swarm of wasps. We couldn’t spend a single minute outside without feeling like we were under attack. Clearly, no one had done a proper inspection or cleaning prior to our arrival.To top it all off, the unit we were given looked nothing like the photos in the listing — which now feels like a bait-and-switch. The images painted a much more updated and polished space than what we actually received.I can tolerate imperfections — life happens. But the total lack of communication, the unsanitary conditions, and the misleading presentation are inexcusable. This was not just a bad experience — it was a clear example of mismanagement and neglect. I’ll never book with them again.

Great location

We came into town for Aggie Day. Great location; took 20 minutes to walk to campus. Monica was very responsive when we had questions. We even had a plumbing issue while there and she took care of it right away. I did notice there were some cooking utensils missing that would be useful (measuring cups/spoons) but we didn’t end up cooking. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The unit was clean and comfortable and in a great location to be able to enjoy all the fun experiences that downtown Davis has to offer. Monica, our hostess, was very responsive and helpful; the experience of working with her felt similar to booking with a friend. Thank you for a great stay!

Just a short walk to the farmers market and other downtown amenities. A couple of minor issues were quickly resolved by maintenance.

We had a very nice stay for Moove-in! We loved the location, could walk to most things. It had everything we needed. Easy access, parking, great communication. We would stay here again!

Total misrepresentation and stuff doesn’t work

When I arrived, the place was an oven probably around 86° and the AC in the living room did not work. A staff member was supposed to fix the remote and said he would be back in 10 minutes and never returned. The room unit in the bedroom Was too loud to sleep with and there are no windows In the bedrooms, only one small one in the bathroom across the hall. So I open the sliding door, even though it’s on the ground floor just to get some air, but the blinds cannot be opened. And the curtains in the living room can’t be opened either. There is no ice tray to get cold drinking water and overall it was a miserable sleepless night the description of the place way over states the amenities. I ended up moving to a hotel in town. I was there for my daughter’s graduation and did not appreciate having to deal with these issues, not sleep and having to move, not to mention having to spend more.

Everything you need for a visit

This property was very clean, comfortable and basic. Easy parking. We did not spent much time hanging around at home, we were out doing things most of the time so this property with its basic amenities was perfect for us. We mostly needed a relaxing space to sleep, shower, watch a little tv before bed, and make coffee in the morning. The mattresses and bed linens were very clean and comfortable. No central heat or air but the portable air conditioners in each bedroom were very effective at cooling the rooms quickly. I loved that the inside of the fridge and freezer were pristine and spotless. I found the wifi to be fast and easy to connect to. The furnishings in the photos don’t match the actual unit we were in, however the setup and the basic style of the property were for all intents and purposes the very much the same vibe and aesthetic. I thought the place was very cute and I would definitely return any time I need a comfy small space in a great location in Davis. For two bedrooms it was a great value.

close to Davis fun

we love this little bungalow! situated really close to campus yet far enough out to not be in a loud neighborhood.. only a few blocks to Aggie Village for coffee in the am and for meals. we did have some issues on check in due to recent power outages and contacted the host and had it all fixed very promptly. we will be back.

Not as advertised--avoid this rental

The property looks to be a neighboring unit of the one pictured. Owner did not communicate about check in; I had to contact her twice before getting the info. It was very cold and there were issues with the heater. I contacted the owner and was told to "empty the condensation in a cup and throw it out" which was not possible (see pics). Heating units were also incredibly noisy. We didn't have sufficient blankets or linens and borrowed from family in the area. This is not a "designer bungalow" and is not a bungalow at all, but rather, a converted garage. I did not recieve check out info, either, and gave up trying to communicate. What's more, the owner put extra charges on the bill, some of which were refunded at my request. I have filed a complaint with VRBO. I do not recommend this place.

Met our needs

We arrived at night as we had said we would, yet the house was completely dark, as were most of the houses nearby. We drove up and down the street 3 times and pulled into 2 driveways to try to see house numbers before we found the place. This was frustrating after a long drive in holiday traffic! When we entered the house it was 55 degrees inside. Not a great first impression. Luckily the beds had enough blankets to warm us up and were comfortable. The house was warmer in the morning but it does not have central heat, just a wall heater in the living room, so we had to leave doors open to keep the bedrooms warm. The kitchen has only the basics but it met our needs. We didn’t do much cooking. The place was clean and the location was good. Exterior lighting would be helpful.

Nice store and restaurants a couple blocks away. Inside and outside of the place was fairly clean and suited our needs well. Enjoyed our stay. Monica was very responsive to our inquiries. Look forward to staying there again

Quick to downtown

This is a great stay in Davis, very walkable to downtown and campus. Clean and comfortable, everything is as advertised. There's no central AC so it gets a little warm but there are portable AC units that work very well. For the price, I don't think there's a better deal out there.

Visit to campus

My son and I took 4 days to explore and enjoy Davis. We loved this cute cottage. The mulberry tree was blooming and fresh fruit by the front door was delicious. The cottage was perfectly located to walk everywhere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and easy. I would definitely stay here again.
