Family getaway

The property was perfect for multiple families traveling together! There was plenty of shared and individual space! The view is amazing, pool was refreshing, and very clean. Would definitely recommend..

Perfect Wedding

We booked this stay for an intimate wedding we had there. The only attendees of the wedding were also guests staying with us the entire time so it made for a super convenient vacation with our loved ones and the day of the wedding provided a perfect scene for our nuptials. The photos truly do not do this location justice. I would not only recommend but would also stay here again if possible. Any issues we had during the stay were resolved immediately by the property manager. I cannot say enough about those fine gentlemen, Larry and Jakob. So helpful and kind.

Amazing experience

We absolutely loved the property and the fact that we had all three cabins to ourselves was a great experience for the New Year’s Eve. Would definitely suggest renting this one!

Post Wedding Group Getaway

We had a great experience staying at the property. It was relaxing and scenic, if not a bit remote. Everyone loved the infinity pool and fire pit overlooking the valley. The patio was great for seating and hosting a large group. Highly recommend.

The location and the views were spectacular. However, we did find several things about the property to be difficult. Getting from one cabin to the next was a bit challenging and the stone steps are actually dangerous. The ladders up to the lofts were not pictured at all and not everyone could safely navigate them esp a child or pregnant mom or older adult. The shower in cabin 2 leaked with each shower and all the towels were wet due to the leak. Also from the photos provided it was difficult to understand that here was just one bathroom per cabin. This was very difficult as most of the time we were at cabin one using the pool. With only one bathroom. The main bedroom in cabin one had a fire place that was also part of the living room and there was no privacy, could everything from one room to the other and also could not make roomDarling anyone was in living room. Also the outside lights could not be turned off and shone into the bedroom thru slats in the blinds. All night long! There was also a very limited amount of silverware and we had to into town and buy more plastic ware. The nice long table out on the patio had a huge section of the table gone right on the middle! There were also no shade or umbrellas over even a portion of the pool during the very hot and sunny afternoons. We enjoyed our family time and it was memorable for that reason. We would never stay here again.

It was a fantastic location with great views over to Canyon

Pros: Great location, View over to Canyon and Lake Travis, Cabins, Grills, Fire Pit, heated Swimming Pool, 11 bluetooth speaker system, and nice looking patio. Amazing support from If I have to mention cons: It would be nice to have one more full bath for the people it can accomodate and lack of dishwasher in the main cabin kitchen

Amazing property!

Everything was so great about this trip! The property was so beautiful and the different cabins were so fun! My fiancé and I did a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip so we were able to have a cabin for the boys, girls, and couples! It’s close to a lot of things in town but far enough away that the nights super quiet and peaceful. The host was amazing as well and was available for any questions we had! Thanks so much for making our trip so memorable!

60th Birthday Celecration

We had a blast in the pool celebrating my moms birthday! The view was amazing! There were plenty of spaces to sleep, and the host was very communicative! It is a nice place for a family to hang out. The river is dried out because of the draught.

Great getaway

Pictures don't do it justice! The view is outstanding and cabins are stocked with everything you need. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The beds are comfortable and the landscaping is beautiful. Dale is quick to respond with any questions. We will definitely be going back!

Great property & beautiful views

The property is tucked away and perfect for friend/family gatherings. The pool is incredible and the provided accommodations were well thought out. 5 stars all the way however if traveling with small children be prepared for a steep stone decline to the pool and ladder lofts in cabin 2 & 3. Thankfully we had several people keeping an eye on the kids but we did have to have some safety measures.

Bachelorette/ Bachelor Party!

We had so much fun hosting our bachelor/ bachelorette weekend at this property! The batteries for the lock to the cabins stopped working but the maintenance guy Larry came immediately to fix it and was very friendly. There was no water in the lake because of the apparent rice farmers but it wasn’t an issue. The hot tub and the outdoor fireplace was a nice treat. We had everything we needed, everything was very comfortable, and everyone had a blast!

Relax, Relax!

The Sunset Villas was just as advertised. It is a great "compound" with the three separate house/cabins. This set up worked perfectly for three family units. The views of the lake and sunset are spectacular - especially from the infinity pool! We also loved the large outdoor table where we gathered for every one of our meals. The location is perfect - 10 min drive to Lago Vista for groceries and a couple of dining options. Marble Falls only 30 minutes away, Flat Creek Winery only 10 minutes away as well (this made for a perfect meeting place before check-in time). Thanks you Dale for making your house available to us!

A great weekend at Marble Falls!

We had such a fun bachelorette weekend at this VRBO in Marble Falls. The property was spectacular, and the views were incredible. We had such a fun time using the back patio, pool and hot tub amenities. The three cabins made the for a very spacious weekend. Like several others have commented the lake in the pictures is non-existent but it's great to have the pool and hot tub on the property. One thing to keep in mind is that the cabins only have three bathrooms. We had a large group and while this wasn't an issue, it would have been a little tight had we been there longer than a weekend.

Great time.

Gorgeous location. We hit it right for about 2 days. Then cold hit-nothing we could do but stay inside and play board games. The lake/river was low but that did not prevent us from kayaking a little bit. This one property we will defined be back. The owner (of course) was great. There were a few issues upon checking in but were resolved fast. We also loved the fact that this property was 3 separate building. My Teens could ‘get away’ form us annoying adults when they wanted too. Thanks for a great VRBO listing!

Lake Travis Gem

Our family hosted a large group of teenagers for a birthday weekend here in May, and this property could not have been more perfect. The main house was a great size, with comfy couches, a large dining table for card games/eating, a large walk in modern shower, and each bedroom there had comfy mattresses. The additional two separate cabins were top notch, each with well appointed kitchen spaces, more comfy couches and plenty of beds. As great as all those places are, the real highlight here is the outdoor space - from the rustic open area to explore, the breathtaking views, and the AMAZING outdoor patio area for games, lounging, eating, listening to music on a super sound system, and you still have a wonderful pool to top it off. We've done a trip like this a few times now and this was BY FAR the best place we've ever been lucky enough to stay in. The owners were super responsive to every question we had and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The property location is conveniently just a quick trip to town for any needed supplies. We're only sad that we had to leave when the weekend was up.

Beautiful Experience

No complaints about the location, the view and the pool! Other things are not really a complaint. It is no one's fault that the lake was almost non-existent in this draught. It did NOT ruin the view and the pool saved our stay for sure because there is no way to even be outside with the temps at 106 if you don't have a pool!! One disappointment was there is NO SHADE down at the pool. There needs to be umbrellas, etc. (we sent people to walmart and we brought in our own umbrellas). Otherwise the pool was an amazing experience - and the night swims were so special. Cabin 2 and 3 were so quaint and beautiful and are obviously more recent additions to the property. The main house is older but nice. And having an RO unit in the Kitchen was a PLUS!! Unfortunately it has an sugar ant problem (kitchen only) but we used peppermint oil all along the 'seams' to prevent them - they were more of a nuisance that you had to stay on top of. I'm sure the owner has been informed of this and will take some actions (or already has). Over all we had an amazing experience and created so many new family memories!!!

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a large group of family and friends’ age ranging from 14-84 years old, and a dog. Everyone enjoyed the stay at this property. Our host was very responsive to enquires. We had a little misunderstanding regarding the pet fee, but later found out there was a pet fee and it was included in the host fee. The back porch deck (covered) and huge seating/outdoor dining was the highlight of our stay with a beautiful backdrop of scenic view overlooking the pool. Location is great, not too far from Lago Vista. We have stayed few times around that area. The villa itself is secluded and we felt secure. Plenty of towels and more towels for the pool, bed were comfortable, with the best linen sheets. Our group enjoyed every bit of this property. Sad part of the stay was no one wanted to leave the Cabin. Minor cleaning issues, with cobwebs in the Main Cabin bedroom. There was a horrible smell of blood and I saw streaks of blood on the bottom of the fridge. Few suggestions, adding an electric kettle, a Keurig and few kitchen essentials aluminum foil and cling film could have been a great addition to the main kitchen. Bunk beds were a nice touch but the people sleeping on top was too close to the fan, just had to be extra careful. I think 3 bathroom was bit tight for a large group of 20-24 people. The steps towards the pool is bit scary but not slippery, thank god no one had any injuries. Overall our group had a great stay, highly recommend. Thank you Zoha.

Beautiful Intimate Wedding Location

Our daughter got engaged in November 2019. We had started looking at wedding venues at the beginning of 2020, but then the big shut down occurred due to COVID. There were so many stories of brides having to pay more to reschedule their weddings, others who's venue wouldn't reschedule and then those that lost their deposits and payments. That prompted my daughter to start looking at VRBO locations and came across this absolutely beautiful place, and so we booked it. Of course being from the Dallas area made it a bit of a challenge, but Dale was gracious enough to allow us to see the property in between guest last Thanksgiving weekend. The photos on here are amazing, but the minute we saw it in person, we knew we had chosen the right location for the wedding. The property is absolutely stunning and spacious with the 3 cabins. Our plan was for the entire wedding party to stay on location. Of course the first time to see the property, we were so blown away by it that we didn't think about taking measurements and photos to plan out the ceremony location, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, reception and dance floor areas. We made another trip to the area at the end of March, but we were not able to access the property due the Spring Break and being booked solid. We did make a third trip in June and Dale allowed us to once again, visit the property in between guest. Our day of coordinator met us there and was just floored at how beautiful the place was. We left there knowing what all we needed to transform this place into my daughter's dream wedding. Needless to say that it turned out absolutely beautiful and the weather was perfect. Thanks to Dale for accommodating us on seeing the property between guest, and for allowing us move the outdoor furniture around. The wedding party not only loved staying on location, but also got to enjoy exploring the property the two days prior to the wedding. They even got to go fishing the day after! We heard so many of our guest saying just how beautiful the location was. This was the absolute perfect place for our daughter's wedding and our guests.

A beautiful and unique property. Having multiple cabins was perfect for our group. Each cabin was clean, comfortable, and had convenient layouts for large groups. The deck off the main house is where we spent most of our time cooking at the outdoor grill, eating at the large outdoor tables, or lounging by the fire pit. The pool was gorgeous and large and added to our amazing view! One thing to note is the stairs getting down to the pool and the other two cabins are steep. I wouldn’t recommend a family with toddlers come here as I think it would be a bit dangerous for them.
