The cabin was very spacious.The grandkids loved the game room and movie room.The property listing of a fire pit is not accurate.We took firewood only to find out it doesn’t have one.Also it mentioned on site fitness center.There isn’t one in the cabin.Overall the views and cabin are terrific.

My apologies about the Firepit. But the Fire Marshall would not approve my STR License unless I removed it. Trust me not my choice. I will update listing accordingly As far as a Fitness Center, no where on my listing does it say there is a fitness center so I'm a little confused about this comment. There is a clubhouse but that is where the pool is

The view from this property is worth the trip itself! Gosh it was so lovely!! The cabin is also beautiful and very spacious, we even had a black bear (cub) come in the back yard by the patio! Super neat for the kids the see! Will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place for our family trip to Gatlinburg. The location was amazing, especially if you’re hoping to experience the wildlife and everything this area has to offer.Phil was an excellent host — very responsive, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our entire stay. We even had a pretty unforgettable bear encounter that turned into one of those family stories we’ll probably be telling for years! Phil was incredibly helpful throughout the whole situation.We left with so many wonderful memories and truly didn’t want our trip to end. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back soon. Highly recommend!

Very good cabin with great views. Host was very responsive and the cabin was very clean when we arrived. The checkin and checkout process was very smooth. Only drawback is with the 3rd bedroom. we have to exit the main door and go out to get to basement.

Beautiful places and location that needs a lot of maintenance and a deep clean. The host was defensive and unhelpful each time I contacted him until I pushed for him to just solve the problem.The owner should either go to the property ever few months and actually maintain it, or hire a property manager. I wouldn't have complained about any of this if the owner just said how can I solve the problem the first time I contacted him. I've stayed at hundreds of rentals throughout the world and he was the first to be to unfriendly.Pros: Beds were comfortable, beautiful views, nice decks, cool extras like games. Cons: Arrived to no hand or shower soap, no dish sponge or rag, no shampoo, no dishwasher tabs, dirty dishes in the dishwasher with food and mold in the bottom of the dishwasher, overflowing trash bins in a bear box, dusty tables, dirty floors, popcorn all over the floors in the movie room and around the chairs, broken dining room chair, super dirty windows, chunks of black coming out the water dispenser, no extra trash bags other than the one in the bin, moldy shower curtains, broken remotes in the game room downstairs, and many other little problems that really added up.

Wow 100% Lies. First of all I provide Starter Soaps/Shampoo NOT for your Entire stay. You called up Demanding that some be brought to you Insisting that there was NONE I had the cleaning team make a trip up there within 3 hours of your complaint yet when they arrived you declined to accept any from them yet when you checked out there were multiple Half used soaps and shampoos in all 3 bathrooms. How does that happen if there was none to begin with???! And then you messaged me on your 4th day saying the Garbage cans were full. Yet they are emptied after every guest. So instead of saying"hey we filled the cans what can we do". You LIE and blame the Cleaning people who again made a trip out there within 2 hours of your complaint to empty the cans. Please tell me how a family of 5 fills ONE bag in 4 days???? Not Possible Oh and I arrived myself the day you left so I saw how you Destroyed my home. Everything you mentioned in your Lie filled review YOU DID. Chair Broken, you let your kid put 20 stickers all over the windows, you stained the Couch so bad it cant be cleaned I have to get a new one, you Literally ripped in half the remote controls for the Lighting system in the game/movie room so now I have to replace that as well. Don't try to say it wasn't you as my cleaning team checks all this after every guest!!! I will be filling a claim with VRBO for the $3000 in Damages you caused. God help the next person you rent from

Beautiful views! Everything was exceptional and the cabin was perfect for our family. The hot tub stopped heating on our last night, but we were pretty tired anyway and enjoyed the nighttime mountain views. The host was very responsive when I reached out.We loved how close it is to Pigeon Forge and all the fun activities. The boys especially enjoyed the video games, movie room, and having their own space downstairs. Definitely worth it for the views alone — I would stay here again.

Our family of 5 adults had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The view was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub and theater room, but most of all the balconies for bird and bear watching. The cabin was well-equipped and check-in was easy. We had no issues at all. There is no longer a fire pit, which was disappointing but we were entertained by several bears, one actually entering the neighbor’s car for snacks. LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS! The bears can definitely open them! Would highly recommend this cabin!

My family of five spent a long weekend here right before Christmas, and we had a wonderful time. The hot tub and movie area were huge hits with everyone. The location is perfect: close enough to be just 10-20 minutes from all the main attractions, yet tucked away for that peaceful Smoky Mountains vibe. This was our third year visiting the area around Christmas, and this property easily had the best views we’ve experienced so far. We’d definitely recommend it to family and friends!

Our stay was fantastic! Check in was super easy and the place had everything we could have needed. The views and wildlife were amazing. Phil responded immediately to questions and was a great host. The location was great as well-out of the way but just a couple minutes to downtown.

We had a wonderful time staying at Sophie’s hideout. The view was spectacular, the bear sightings were entertaining and the owner/host was very helpful. Also, the drive up was not so bad, but I do recommend arriving before dark the first time up. I would definitely stay here again.

Very beautiful, clean, unique place. Lots of space and the kids loved the arcade games. Beautiful view. Wish we would have stayed longer, since we were only there a couple of days.
