Porto Playa tilldelades Certificate of Excellence från Trip Advisor 2016. Porto Playa ligger i en oas som påminner om en regnskog med ett tropiskt arkitektoniskt inflytande med 21 lyxenheter. Den har en mycket luftig och öppen design inuti en privat fristad med frodiga tropiska växter och blommor och skrovliga vattenfall. Det finns till och med en soltäckt simbassäng på längden av ett stadsblock och en andra pool med två separata jacuzzier.

Gäster på någon av våra fastigheter får gratis strandstolar på Indigo Beach Club, belägen vid El Taj Ocean, gratis användning av The Gym, som ligger vid Porto Playa, gratis Wi-Fi, daglig städservice, 3 restauranger med full service och mer. Gästerna får också rabatter på många restauranger i Playa.

Porto Play ligger vid hörnet av First Ave och Calle 16. 100 steg från stranden och erbjuder gratis strandstolar och parasoller på Indigo Beach Club, som ligger vid El Taj Ocean 1 kvarter bort.

Porto Playa är ett boutiquehotell med 21 lägenheter med många bekvämligheter inklusive daglig städservice, gratis användning av gymmet (beläget i Porto Playa), conciergeservice, spa och mer. Beautiful Condo

The condo and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Very clean and secure. There is a gate and security so only guest can enter. The lower pools were not functioning but we still used the upper pool. We could only imagine how lovely the property would be with the waterfalls. It was a wonderful stay and we could escape the craziness of 5th avenue once we entered the condo. We will definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful condo! We were 4 women celebrating a 40th birthday. The apartment was clean, cool, had great water pressure, and very comfortable beds. Very close to the downtown touristy area and the water, but also an easy walk to the quieter parts of town. The ocean was not swimmable due to the sargasso, but the pool was nice. The pool was the same temperature as the hot tub (very very warm) but I'm not sure if it was heated or if the sun just got it that toasty. Still, a lush and beautiful property and we would stay again! The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful Stay!

Our family of four visited during Spring Break and had a wonderful time at the condo. The location was very convenient because it was walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Our two teenagers loved the pool, the workout facility, and the local bakery next door. Every morning they worked out and went to the bakery for some of the best food we had during our stay. Our condo was also clean, and the amenities were top notch. We hope to back again someday.

Easy, breezy wonderful stay

Our stay at Porto Playa and Laura’s spot was exactly as pictured. Easy to check in, great communication with our hosts, the concierge service was wonderful for scheduling our Covid test prior to departure. The whole process was so smooth and made our vacation relaxing and pleasant. The spot was perfect and great location, close to everything but just far enough away from the noisy bars. Will absolutely rebook this spot for future trips!

Great spot close but Quiet

We enjoyed The large front windows and sliding glass doors. We also noted that they provided Blackout shades in the bedroom that was nice.We like that had a little table and chairs outside and also had a selection of books to read. We did like the fact that it was a secure facility with a little garden, a guard at the front lockable gate front. All the people who work at the front office, very attentive, and easy to work with.Things We think could be improved. There needs to be a little nightstand next to the two beds in the second bedroom. The beach is really nothing but sandbags no sand. ( nothing that can be done about it but you should know that’s how it is)The concierge desk at the other condos that they use has very poor customer service .We had to stand the whole time as no chairs were available.

Comfortable and beautiful stay

Porto Playa was a home away from home with modern and conventional amenities. I loved the natural elements in spaces especially the bathrooms. The location was incredible for walking the beach and exploring the best of Playa Del Carmen. It was nestled in a cute area with trees, tropical plants, passerbys, ocean breezes, and sounds of birds. The Gym was a great amenity that we used as well as the spa treatments. I even did my own daily yoga practice on the rooftop terrace! Gustavo and the crew were very helpful and friendly, and they let me see a couple of spaces so that I could choose the one I resonated with. I highly recommend staying here!

A fantastic condo w/ wonderful owners!

Staying at this property was like taking our very own comfy home to a new beautiful location. Actually, that's not exactly the truth: for us New York City dwellers, staying here was definitely an upgrade in housing since or vacation home was more spacious, modern, well maintained, and all-around more comfortable than our NYC home ever could be! Add to that daily housekeeping, delicious breakfasts, amazingly nice and KIND employees, and best of all, a breathtaking setting and scenery... definitely an upgrade on "home sweet home." We could not recommend this condo any more strongly! (Other condos in the property could possibly be just as nice, but corresponding with the owners of this specific condo also was a pleasantly easy and stress free experience.)

Awesome Place to stay !!!!!!!!!!! The best in Playa!!!!

Returned again to stay at Porto Playa....never disappointed!!!! The property is beautiful, filled with lush tropical palms and flowering plants. The pool feels so refreshing during the day and the water cascading down the wall lulls you to sleep at night. The condo is spotless and the beds very comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful..whether to help you with directions or assisting you in your return flight info. Porto Playa is perfectly located, a block to the beach or a block to 5th Avenue !!!! Always something to do . The restaurant Plank had the best brunch, complete with a seafood tower that was to die for! We also enjoyed the service at the Indigo Beach Club: great food and a great beach. The restaurants on 5th are better then the ones at home and less expensive. Can't wait to return again. I would highly recommend Porto Playa to anyone traveling to Playa Del Carmen !!!

Loved Porto Playa

Beautiful place, nicely furnished with comfy beds. This condo complex os great for young people. The unit was modern and in excellent condition. The salt water pool is the best I've ever been in! The music from the restaurant across the street is upbeat, but constant. I especially loved it when they had live entertainment on the weekends. Inside the unit it was pretty quiet though. The gym is in the level below, and is convenient if you're wanting to stay in shape, but the loud instructor's mics coming up from the aerobics classes are annoying in the evening. Mm Another thing to consider is the number of steps to climb.c No elevator! I do not recommend staying here if you have mobility issues.

Great place to relax; right in central Playa

This was our first time to this area of Mexico and Playa del Carmen. This condo was a great location to explore the city and area, but still have a quieter oasis to return to each night. Pros: location on a quiet corner, one block away from Quinta Avenida(busy tourist area), LOTS of food choices nearby and walkable. Unit has comfortable beds, wonderful showers!!-water pressure superb! Views from living area out patio is of tops of palm trees so you feel very private and it’s restful. The pool/waterfall provides a background sound of water that covers traffic noise and adds to the resort feeling of the property. The front desk people and security guard at front gate were all friendly and helpful. Unit was clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job. We didn’t have time to use The Gym(complimentary and next door) but would be excellent if you wanted to keep your daily workout. They had lots of classes too-and it looked very modern and clean from the outside. The Condo’s pools and spas were clean and refreshing. Communication with Laura was quick/helpful! Cons: these are things that are not necessarily negatives, but may be helpful to know. The property has an open courtyard with an underground area that The Gym uses for classes. They have classes at 8 am and have evening classes at 8 pm. We closed our doors 😉. . Also, It is handwashing dishes in kitchen, not a dishwasher. We never did find English language TV channels, but that’s not what we were there for😊!

Porto Playa is located 1 block from the beach, 1 block from 5th Ave., has great pools and jacuzzis, lots of amenities with tropical gardens and use off our private beach club with restaurant. You can walk north or south on the beach. There are numerous restaurants right on the beach and lots of places to get chairs, drinks, etc.

You don't need a car in Playa unless you want to take day-trips to Tulum or Chichen Itza. Everyone walks to restaurants, groceries, liquor, shops,, etc.

Fifth Avenue is about 3 miles long, is pedestrian only, and has open air restaurants and shopping. You can walk up and down and find a place you want to eat dinner or go shopping.

Our condo has high ceilings, zoned air conditioning, ceiling fans in every room, full-sized appliances and large kitchens stocked with cookware, blender, toaster, coffee maker - everything you'd want to make you feel like it's yours and not a hotel room.. We have noodles in the condo for your use in the Gulf and/or the pool.

Couple of tips:
You don't need a car in Playa You only need a car if you want to go off-site for something. Even zip-lining comes and picks you up.

Playa is very European - half the tourists are American, the other half are a mix from all over the world: South America, Asia and Europe. It's fun to walk 5th or be eating a meal and hearing all the different accents. Lots of different types of restaurants.

You can walk to Wal-Mart or Mega from our condo-(6 blocks). I know how that might sound, but they are great stores with fresh food. We typically walk over there the first day (in the morning before it gets too hot), and buy fresh fruit, wine and snacks. We then have breakfast on our balcony.
