Family stay

This is our third year staying at this location. With two children ages 3 and 5 it’s spacious for them to play inside or in the wrap around deck. Close to lake and they have a pool area. Close to Storyland and Conway. Kids loves it as well as adults.

Maine Memories

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The house is spacious, well equipped, and immaculate. We appreciated the proximity to the lake and our grandchildren were obsessed with the pool. We were all happy to retreat at the end of each fun filled day to the air conditioning during a particular hot week, making meals together, and sleeping more than comfortably. Great spot, hope to book again!

Summer Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and had everything you would need for a vacation stay ( fully stocked kitchen, grill, board games, ping pong table, cornhole, fire pit, kayaks, pond access, pool access, and more!) Plenty of room for four adults and two teens.

Spacious house - perfect for a family or two

This house was perfect for our needs... our kids loved the lower level hangout area and had a blast playing ping pong. We loved the community beach since my kids were able to make new friends to play with over the course of the week. Having access to the pool was a bonus! Thanks so much!

Wonderful Getaway

My family and I spent a week at Rogers house and we had a great stay! Roger was very kind and always quick to reply to any questions that I had. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking family meals. There are 2 kayaks at the beach right across the street which was great, and a little playground if you have children. We really enjoyed our time and hope to return next year. Thanks for having us!

Nice for a family winter getaway

Nice, spacious, clean house within short walk to moose pond. Shawnee peak is approx 4-5 min drive away. It was super cold over the weekend, but the house was toasty warm. It was great to be able to walk out onto the frozen pond. Easy drive to North Conway (30 min). Kitchen was very well stocked.

Family Vaca

This property hit all the marks! Clean as can be, spacious, 3 levels, good size firepit, amenities, very short walk to water. Kitchen well stocked with nice dishes, flatware, pans, etc. and furniture was wonderful! AC/washer and dryer. Roger was just awesome to work with. We all loved it and kept complimenting how great a property it is.

Fantastic home for large groups and pets

We had 6 adults , 3 children and 2 dogs. We loved the fact that there were 3 bathrooms, central air and a washer/dryer. We never got in each others way as the kitchen, etc was spacious enough. The room downstairs was so much fun with people challenging each other to a ping pong match. The house was very close to the kayaks and beach as well as the fishing docks. The pool and tennis courts were a short drive away. Very enjoyable there also. Highly recommend for large families. Just make sure all in your group can do the stairs with ease. Our geriatric rat terrier had a problem walking back up the steps so he needed to be carried each time. We didn’t know how difficult it would be for him as we live on one level at home. Highly recommend this property!

60 South Bay Road, Bridgton, ME

This is our second time at this property with family. It’s a wonderful place to have children and especially like being able to sit on wrap around porch/deck and not have to worry about kids falling down stairs as there is a gate. Walking around neighborhood with kids and dogs is safe and there is a wonderful playground and sandbox for kids to play in near the lake as well as access to pool where again is great as they have a kiddie pool. It is also accessible to StoryLand, bowling alley, mini golf, and other places of interest for adults and children. Hosts are accommodating and helpful if there is a problem and respond quickly. We plan on going g again next year.

Great location and rental process

Great Family Fun in Bridgton, ME.

My husband, myself, our adult daughter, her husband and their 2 month old son had a great time at this rental property. Plenty of room to spread out for privacy while getting together for meals and watching movies or just talking and relaxing by the outdoor fire pit. Very clean home. As always I over packed as far as essentials as most were already in the house such as a crockpot and kitchen utensils. Roger was very easy to deal with and would definitely recommend anyone to rent this property. We hope to come back again!

Great week!

Family from 3 locations including Ireland spent the week at 60 South Bay Road. We all were very pleased with the space, design and amenities and the KHA beach and pool areas. Many happy memories together. The one problem with the dishwasher and kitchen sink drain was addressed in the first few days so we could use sink drain without problem for the rest of the week. If schedules and availability coincide we hope to rendezvous there again in two years. The fire pit area was a special joy with additional family staying at another rental gathering with us several evenings. Thank you Roger!

First Timers

We have never rented a vacation home before and for our first time, we couldn’t have had a better experience. The home was perfect for a three year old and one year old. There was plenty of room for them to run around and were able to bring them out on deck without worrying about them falling down the stairs, as the host had a gate. The pond was great for the kids, as well as the pool located nearby for adults and a kiddie pool. Took the kids out for walks everyday without worrying about fast traffic and we met some very nice people from other states. The host, Mr. Campbell was very nice and easy to deal with. We are seriously thinking we will go again next year.

Excellent Rental Experience

The property was first-rate, exactly as advertised with lots of room and modern amenities. A very short walk to the pond which has a great beach. We enjoyed kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming during our week. Roger the host was wonderful to work with an made sure all of our questions were answered immediately. I would abolutely recommend this property!

Great place for a family gathering

Elxcellent overall there were 6 adults and 6 children and a dog. Plenty of parking, close access to the beach and boat launch, well supplied kitchen, clean rooms, spacious bathrooms, lots of closet space, closets were the perfect size to house si kids playing on their tablets lol, big porch, Great playroom, good TV options, quiet neighborhood. Was much better than discription. Every thing was very well maintained. There could be more seating for meals, more living room furniture, and sound carries through the walls from the living room into the downstairs bedrooms. Other than that, it was just perfect . Great house.

Amazing week!

This property is just as described. Incredibly spacious and in a quiet location that is a short (1 hour or under) ride to area attractions. The pond is clean and warm with 2 kayaks available for use. The pool was great after a day of adventure. We will be renting this property again.

The house is spacious, comfortable and gorgeous.

We enjoyed the house and location in a community which gave us access to a lovely sand beach, a lake, a pool and a tennis court. Communication with the owner was easy and accessing the property was similarly easy. The house is very well equipped and was very clean. Very happy with this rental.

Perfect place for a family weekend getaway

We stayed for a long weekend with 2 other families, 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from ages 2-1/2 to 8. The kids had a blast playing ping pong, riding their bikes to the beach, and swimming. The proximity to the beach area and access to the neighborhood association pool was an ideal setup. We took the kayaks out for a lovely paddle around the islands in the Pond and the kiddos especially liked that the kayak launch was like the log flume at Storyland :) The lake swimming was very pleasant, with areas to wade and a swim raft. The pool has a shallow kiddie pool and very comfy lounge furniture. The kitchen was spacious and the long dining table made meals easy. We grilled one night and had no problem getting it going. Beds were comfy and while it wasn’t hot when we were there this year, the fact that the house has central air is a huge plus! We had 4 vehicles and had no problem parking them all in the driveway. Roger was very communicative in preparation for our stay. The listing was very accurate and the information/directions at the house were very clear and comprehensive. It was our family’s turn to book this place for this summer’s annual trip and we hit it out of the park. The family responsible for booking next summer are already talking about returning to this rental. Thank you for providing the space for a wonderful weekend to celebrate the start of summer and connect with friends!

LOVE the Outdoor drive in theater plus the Magic Lantern indoor theater and pub...so much to do and ton's of outlet shopping w/in 20 min in North Conway N.H.

The Lakes Region of Maine, with over 80 square miles of lakes, has certainly earned its name. Located about 30 miles north of Portland and 30 min from North Conway New Hampshire the Lakes Region are is filled with much to do. Hiking, bicycle trails, boat rentals for the Saco River and surround lakes and ponds, hunting, fishing, golfing, summer road races and ton's of winter sports including snowmobiling, cross-country ski trails, downhill skiing & snowboarding at Shawnee Peak, skijoring, dog sled races and our tremendous fall foliage. There are numerous cultural events and festivals, including the Mushers Bowl/Winter Carnival, Lakes Brew Fest & Maine Blues Festival. Our beautiful mountains and lakes are only a small part of it's magnificent charm!
Long Lake was home to Stephen King and inspired his novel “The Mist”. This inspiration came to him at the checkout line in what now is called Food City. Food City was later featured in his novel “Under the Dome”. His home on Kansas Road / Long Lake also served as the setting for his sixth “Dark Tower” book. There is a lot of history and much enjoyment in our beautiful Lakes Region Area and it truly is “ Maine, the way life should be”!
