This was a lovely place to spend some time by Moose Pond. The pool, tennis courts, beach, and playground kept my kids active and occupied all week. The house was a great home base for a perfect last week of the summer.

Beautiful area

The Chalet was great, large living area and a well stocked kitchen. The screened porch came in handy for entertaining the grand kids. Would definitely recommend this property!

Bridgton stay

The home is wonderful and airy. Plenty of space for people to relax and enjoy. The huge screened porch is a standout, as is the short walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

Chalet

Our annual family vacation in Bridgton was wonderful in large part due to this chalet in the Knights Hill neighborhood. The house was perfect. Spacious, comfortable, and a short walk to the beach and pool. Phil is the consummate host: responsive, accommodating, and cordial. I highly recommend the Chalet.

Getaway for local couple with out of town friends and family

Great location - the house fantastic great room that allowed for 8 people to enjoy each other or sit quietly on own. Kitchen well stocked. Owner responded immediately with questions or concerns. The community had a lot to offer - waterfront activities, pool as well. Definitely recommend!!!

Property has lots of great space. Cleaning people were finishing up when we got there at 3:30. The place is quite damp and everything smells from the dampness (including the blankets and bureaus) as there is no AC. The description of the property does state there is AC via skylights and ceiling fans but, if you’re like me, you stop reading after Air Conditioning. The basement leaks in the owners closet when it rains, causing the floor where the washer and dryer are to become quite wet. Don’t leave anything on the floor. If it rains hard, the whole floor gets wet down there. The beach is very close, but not right outside the door. The pool area is a three minute drive. If there is a hot tub, I did not find one. We did have a decent time but will be looking for a place with actual AC next year.

Hi Barbie, I was happy to hear that your overall experience at the house and area was positive. I work very hard and am meticulous in my efforts to try to have the house neat, clean and fully functional so folks can have the best vacation I can provide. I was sorry to hear of your disappointment with the air conditioning in the extraordinarily hot/steamy weather we have been having. Normally folks appreciate the air quality and refreshment of the fresh air circulation system I use. (Please recall that we also discussed this by phone with other details before your arrival.) I wish you had phoned me immediately on the water in the lower level laundry room. As I mentioned I am available 24/7 to promptly correct any and all issues, should they arise. I would have corrected it immediately avoiding a wet floor and the elevated humidity. (This was easily corrected by closing an open window.) I wish you and family the best. Phil

Great location

Our family had a great time! The property is very close to the lake and to the beach. There are also great hiking opportunities nearby. We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and living/dining area is very spacious with a lot of light from windows and skylights. Great for family gathering! Bedrooms are on the ground level and they were less appealing: dark and a bit dump. Would be good to install de-humidifier there. The bunk beds in the basement/laundry area were not usable. It is not an appropriate space for sleeping: dark, smelly, damp.

Very quiet. Nice woodsy setting. It was a little bit of a ride to get to places. Outlet shopping g was nice, but we have that here. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay.

family vacation

this is a great place for large family vacation. The living space is all on the second floor. some of us found the stairs a bit difficult. it is very near the lake and beach has a lot of shade. The complex also has a pool which we used quite a bit. All said great place for family vacation.

Perfect Lake Summer Getaway

The property was amazing when coming on site and central to many activities. The property manager is top notch and provides clear details. If you're looking for a short getaway (like myself), this place is perfect. I even wished we booked for a longer stay.

Beautiful location!

Our family loved staying here! The beach was a big hit, we loved the pool, kayaked and boated the pond, and enjoyed nightly fires while cooking on the grill. We were unhappy with the beds. Everyone woke up with sore backs throughout our stay. One adult switched to the couch and had a better nights sleep the rest of the stay. Other than that would definitely recommend Phil’s rental. Great communication, and very helpful. Thank you!

Great time at Knights Hill chalet!

We had a great time visiting my parents in Bridgton. The chalet is just as described and very clean. It is very roomy and the screened in porch is great. We will definitely rent again. The pool is about a mile car drive and is amazing and tennis courts are in great shape, we had so much fun there.

Maine vacation

The house is exactly as described. Every amenity you can imagine. Thank goodness for the ceiling fans as the week started out blistering hot. We especially loved the screened in porch. We had a great time!

Lakeshore peace and fun!

This vacation home was just as advertised- spacious, airy, Large sunlit family living space and Spotless upon arrival. We loved the close proximity to the lake (3 minute walk) and all the Knights Hill community space had to offer- pristine lake, Adirondack chairs lakeside, large sandbox with toys for our granddaughter and an assigned rack for us to store our kayaks right at the lake. We had 8 adults and 1 toddler and we felt we had plenty of space to move around and dine together both in the dining room and on the fabulous screened in porch! We were all impressed how quiet and peaceful this lake community was- so restful!

Very clean and comfortable

The chalet was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for 12 people. Great kitchen and living room space. There was nothing we lacked in the kitchen area as far as dishes, pots and pans etc. Sleeping spaces were excellent. The Knights Hill Association facilities such as the lake and the wonderful pool were used frequently. Owner does a super job at keeping his place clean, modern and a great place to vacation!!!
