This property was lovely and the description very accurate. The view is just like the picture and can be seen both on the deck and through the huge picture window in the living area. The house was spotless and is relatively close to Worlds End, Loyalsock and Ricketts Glen state parks. After a day of exploring, it was nice to spend some time around the fire pit.
As our purpose for our trip was to see waterfalls, this was a great location. Being older hikers, we did not attempt the Ricketts Glen loop, but there are a few waterfalls near the bottom of the Glen that are an easy hike, such as Adam's Falls, Kitchen Falls (under the bridge when you cross the road from Adam's Falls) and Murray Reynolds Falls. The Evergreen trail for Adams Falls has steps to help with the decent. At Loyalsock State Forrest we hiked to the Dutchman Falls, The upper part of the trail is rocky and a little steep, but the lower part of the hike is flat and easy. We drove to the High Knob Overlook (in Loyalsock state park) and enjoyed the beautiful view, then on our way down, we stopped at Dry Run Falls which is a true roadside waterfall. We drove up to Loyalsock Canyon Vista to enjoy the views there and explored the Rock Garden while there. I include these things for anyone who loves nature and is looking for some less strenuous things to do in the area. We always read the reviews to help us decide on our vacation rental, lol, so I hope this is helpful! (Also, waterfalls are best viewed in the spring!)
