Tyst miljö längs South Black Creek, en skärmad i veranda med en picknick bord och stolar för din komfort, ett sovrum med dubbelsäng, öppet vardagsrum och kök, ett loft för barnen och ett badrum. Stor utsikt över bäcken ser ut i fönstret vardagsrummet.
Gasspis i vardagsrummet för den öppna spisen utseende när det blir lite kyliga utanför. Vi har installerat en extern grop för lägereldar (Ta med Camp stolar!) bredvid viken och en bekväm väg ner till viken.

The kitchen was spacious, very clean and very well appointed! Everything we needed and more. Trash bags, sandwich bags, paper towels, etc. The stove worked very well, the lighting is great and the view of the creek from the sink was fantastic! Better than my kitchen at home. The cabin was clean, and having the gas stove heater kept it warm and added a wonderful ambiance.

This is our 7th or 8th stay at the Evergreen. We haven't had to contact Rick or Candy for anything. We enjoy the quiet mostly, although we do enjoy hearing the birds sing. Sunday we saw a bear up the road, numerous deer, & the Blue Heron. We've seen him or her 4 times now. Also, I saw 2 or 3 deer across the creek on the steep hillside. Never dreamed I'd see any there. The cabin is always really clean & they have every pot, pan, or utensil you need. The best thing, is sitting around the fire & looking out over the creek. That's when we see the Blue Heron. He flies up & down along the creek. Thanks Rick & Candy, for another enjoyable stay at the Evergreen!

Beyond peaceful! The only thing you'll hear is the babbling creek and swaying trees. The rest of the world is out of sight and out of mind. Not having cell service was an actual godsend, truly got to disconnect with world and really connect with my partner. Cabin was well built, clean and even in the dense forest full of warm light. If you like cooking the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. We had steaks off the gas grill and even cooked one meal over the fire pit's half rack. The cabin is feels very remote but the town near by is easily accessible and has all the creature comforts you need if you forgot to pack something.12/10 would absolutely book again! Recommending to my friends.

Beautiful!

This was our 3rd time at the cabin and we always have a lovely time. What’s better than sitting by a fire next to a roaring creek with no one around?! The cabin is always clean and homey, and it’s nice to detach from the world for a few days. We hope to make this an annual trip for years to come!

In the heart of nature

This property puts you in a very serene and picturesque location, with easy access to all that the region offers. We have stayed in the adjacent property in the past and now we have two great options to enjoy peace and quiet and Sullivan County parkes, events, etc.

Peaceful

Hubby and I stayed here for a week and did not want to leave. Coming from a busy city, the quiet and secluded area was definitely welcomed. It was a little chilly at night, but the fire furnace was just enough to keep it toasty in the cabin. The sound of the stream alongside the cabin was a comforting sound to fall asleep to. We will definitely be back.

Serene property.

Lovely, relaxing space. We knew there was no phone or cell service, but oh how weird it felt to be so disconnected. We settled into that after a day or so, and found one area of the road near the cabin that had some service for gathering directions and area information that we didn't collect in advance. And while we had no issues, the shower stall is very tight.

This was our 10th year going here and well definitely be going back.The owners are so nice last year my husband and Rex were talking because Rex came to check on us because of a power outage and they are such good people Can't thank them enough for opening up their slice of heaven to us.

Nice quiet retreat

Although we had to cut our stay short, we had a nice time in this quiet cozy cabin. The stream is amazing to sit by and relax to the sounds of nature.

Relaxing Refreshing Thanksgiving!

The place was as described but even more! Had all the items I needed to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for 2 plus the pup! We enjoyed the location, the isolation and the hosts for such a lovely cabin. Will return!

Rick and Candy Rexer have been married for 30 + years, Rick is a 1970 transplant from the Bucks County area and Candy is a native of Sullivan County. We both graduated from the only school in the county, Sullivan County High School in Laporte. We operate Rexers LLC three miles south of the town of Dushore Pa. on Route 220.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We purchased this property from the Tait Family in 2014, the Cabin was built by Elton Tait and his wife Marian Tait from the State College area. For many years they traveled to Sullivan County area for rest and relaxation with their family until Elton passed in 2010.
The cabin needed a little bit of T.L.C. and a few touches to bring it "up-to-date" and we are constantly looking for ideas to make it comfortable.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The cabin is situated in an secluded setting along South Black Creek, many people like to set their chair in the creek and just let the cool water wash away their stress or unwind by sitting on the porch with a good book as the day passes into night. Animal activity is usually in the early morning before we humans begin to stir.
