Wonderfully cute little spot full of whimsy and an outdoor kitchen area. Comfy bed, nice shower, stunning views. I did not see the hot tub, however. That may have been my issue for not asking about it though! Went for a birthday celebration and they very thoughtfully left a birthday welcome for us with some gifts. Very nice. And the welcome sign in the driveway was a sweet touch as well. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks!

The views at this bungalow are beautiful. The host has provided lovely chairs outside to relax and enjoy them. Pet friendly and my puppies thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The only caveat was the bed - mattress too soft for my bad back and if you’re particular about your bedding, bring your own.

What a wonderful place to stay! Check in was easy, and we even had a special welcome sign and gift. The views are breathtaking, and the gardens are so whimsical. We loved the outdoor dining set up. The room itself was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed on hand. We paid extra for access to the 3rd floor hot tub. Totally worth it! Such a fun and beautiful spot. We hope to be back again soon.

This location is fantastic. Private garden area with seating overlooking the beach and coastline - we planned to eat dinner out, we stayed and ordered food in, the view is too good to miss. Wonderful studio, thoughtfully decorated, the host even provided a welcome gift for my 8 year old son. Loved our stay! Will definitely be back. Thank you.

This is a fantastic property! The view from the back patio is unbeatable with an expansive view of the ocean. Great location. The property has everything you need. We left a window open at night to hear the ocean while we slept. Very tranquil.

Aptos studio with outdoor kitchen

Lovely view studio unit with outdoor kitchen in Aptos Very.artsy and whimsical decor. Host is very sweet and communicative. Nice area away from the crowds but still close to everything that Santa Cruz has to offer.

HEAVEN ON A HILLSIDE

Driving up to the house I knew this was going to be amazing. Gorgeous and very unique home! You enter through a bold yet beautiful artsy gate. The groundsare spectacular. We stayed in the bungalow in the back of the house. After walking through a few adorable gates and a very fun display of local art and mermaid statues youare hit with a spectacular view of the ocean. Like unbelievable views in all directions. Loung chairs, observation table and chairs right on the fence line. We were there quite a bit. In the evening we enjoyed sitting around a big fire pit. Now for the indoors. Now this was right up my alley. Bohemian meets artsy and a bit of african art. Gorgeous decor, drapes and a FABULOUS bathroom. Artysy tiled tub and and shower reminded me of a lagoon. A special thank you gift in a basket from our gracious hostess. This place had everything inside and out you could possibly need. If you forgot something, it was there. We will be back forever. I wish! Thank you, Tom & Suzi King

A magical escape

Our hostess was attentive to our needs --including a welcoming sign, and assistance with operating the barbecue and fire pit.Beautiful gardens , incredible ocean view and sound of the ocean contributed to a wonderful dinner on the large backyard patio.The house was easily accessible but the studio and patio had a sense of seclusion.We were in a wonderful quiet place of art, color and nature .Many thanks to our hostess.

Beautiful and peaceful

Thank you for the stay with the amazing views overlooking the ocean. The studio was decorate so cute as well and it was super peaceful to stay here. My honey Ayasha was craving cheesecake and we opened the fridge and there was a delicious blueberry cheesecake there. Thank you for adding the special touches to the room before our arrival. We would 100% stay here again in the future!

5 Year Anniversary Trip

My partner and I reserved this studio from Jeanell for our 5 year anniversary and if we had to use 1 word to describe the experience and location it would be: Enchanting! Jeanell was such a wonderful host, everything from the outdoor patio to the cute kitchenette to the bathroom and bed, you can really tell that every detail was placed with intention. She was incredibly inviting and hospitable, and made our stay magical! She has 2 very cute and friendly dogs who also added a nice charm and warmth to the experience. The studio we stayed in had a breathtaking view of the ocean from our bed and bathroom, and our private yard was spacious and clean, with plenty of areas to lounge and soak in the sun. The rooftop hot tub area was one of our favorite locations, offering a 360* view of the ocean and beach. This was a trip of a lifetime and one we will certainly not forget, and we look forward to staying here again!

Nice Little Studio

The place was a nice little studio. It was very cozy. The location is top notch. To be able to take ten steps and have sweeping ocean views was amazing. It was so lovely to watch the sun set at one end of the bay and rise on the other. Falling asleep to the gentle sound of crashing waves was so peaceful. The walls are thin but everyone was respectful and kept things quiet. If you're looking for a night or two by the beach, this is the place for you!

ideal staycation

Gracious host who truly wants guest to relax and enjoy their time. Great view. Comfortable bed. Firepit with wood. Small fridge with snacks & cold drinks,coffees & teas. Decent wifi and smart TV for those of us that can't completely disconnect from tech. Just restful and relaxing all around.
