Great place

Great value for the price and nice cook wear. The view is not the view pictured. No elevator to load luggage into the home. Hot upstairs in loft bedroom and no shades from sun bc of sky light and small windows. Roads are very steep and windy to access. It was easy to skip over Gatlinburg traffic bc of parkway bypass which was nice.

You get what you pay for

The rental was ok. It is very dated but seemed priced right for what it is. We didn’t use any of the amenities and only used the apartment for sleeping, showering and coffee, in between hikes. The road to the building is very twisty and winding, so be prepared.

Good Location, Needs Updating and Deep Cleaned

The price of the room is reflective of the condition of the rental. It wasn’t dirty, but it was also not deep cleaned. We made the rental company aware the TV is completely outdated. You cannot use your Netflix or other streaming accounts on the TV. You will need to bring your own streaming device. The Wi-Fi works great to accommodate that! The carpet upstairs severely needs to be replaced. There are stains everywhere and the corners were dusty and dirty. There were hairs on the floors and hanging from the stairs. All of these things can be fixed with a simple update to the rental and a deep cleaning. We did see a little bear about two minutes from the condo! That was exciting! Overall a very pleasant stay! Would definitely stay here again if the condo was updated and cleaned.

Comfortable/Very high up

The road to the Summit is curvy but wasn't to bad if you are use to driving in the mountains. Winter time might be a problem for some. The room was clean up on arrival and as described. Stairs are required. No elevator but that wasn't a problem for us. As long as nobody in your group is handicap. The only problem I found was the bar stools in the room were not usable. They were so wobbly my 3 year old couldn't if sit on them. One finger push and they wobbled from side to side. However this didn't affect our stay much. Over all it was a comfortable and clean stay.

Spring Break with the family

This location was perfect for our needs. We brought two of our kids for their spring break. It was slightly smaller than I thought it’d be, but overall worked for what we needed! All the appliances worked great and everything was clean. This location wasn’t too far from all the activities we wanted to do while there. We stayed two nights and had a wonderful spring break adventure! Thank you!

Nice, but I would have like Window Blinds

The condo was small but very nice and had plenty of room for our family of 5. The kitchen was functional. The kids loved to use the spiral staircase as a jungle gym. The place did have wifi despite saying that it didn't, so that was a welcomed surprise. The only annoyance was that the window by the downstairs bed did not have blinds, so if you want to sleep past sunrise, I hope bright lights don't bother you! The blinds were in the corner, so I guess that previous renters had broken it off. Overall, I would stay again. Oh, also, hope you don't mind curvy steep mountain roads. It wasn't bad, but it did take about 15 minutes to get down to the parkway.

Nice place,

The condo was a little older but was clean, and tastefully done. Mountain view wasn't at all, balcony faces the back of the building n trees are close n block everything, Gatlinburg is in the opposite direction, which the view is amazing if your in the front building. That n there was no can opener in the room, there could have been a few more cooking pots n pans as well. Overall I spent a week there n I definitely enjoyed the condo.

Terrible- requesting refund please

I recently had a rental experience that left a lot to be desired. From the moment we stepped foot into the property, we were greeted with dead, huge bees in the bedroom upstairs. It was not only unsettling but also a clear sign of poor maintenance. Additionally, as we made our way up the stairs, we noticed long hairs of all colors dangling from the railing, which was quite off-putting. The condition of the bedding was another disappointment. The sheets and blankets were torn, giving the impression that they hadn't been replaced in a long time. It was not only unhygienic but also uncomfortable. Furthermore, we encountered stains on the carpets throughout the rental. It was clear that they hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, if at all. The balcony, which should have been a pleasant spot to enjoy the outdoors, was cluttered with unusual and mismatched furniture. It felt like an afterthought and didn't provide the relaxing environment we were hoping for. Inside, we discovered that the toilet seat had no seal, which was not only unhygienic but also an inconvenience. Given the state of the rental, we made the decision to leave after just five minutes. It was evident that the property had not been properly maintained, and we felt uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the overall experience. Great time!

We really enjoyed our stay here and hated we had to pack and go. We even got to see a family of bears one morning from our balcony. The only things is we needed was a bigger boiler in the kitchen and a can opener. And for our family of 5 the hot water didn’t last long for showers and baths. Which was a easy fix. Kids got theirs at night and my husband and I got up for an early shower.

Don't stay here!

Save your money and stay somewhere else. This place had an overall unclean/dirty appearance, a smell of smoke and a big white stain on the bedding when we arrived. The furnishings are from 1996. My kids went in and begged to sleep in the car and not the condo.

Awful!!

There was NO cable, NO wifi, NO internet. I was told there was a TV, which there was a TV there that was useless without any service to it! NO kitchen table! Couldn't use the indoor hot tubs or pool, I was told we could use the outdoor pool....it was 50 outside so the water was TOO COLD! I called at least 5 to 6 times to get these issues resolved and they NEVER were resolved! PLEASE find somewhere else to stay you will NOT be happy here!!

Hunk of junk, don’t believe the hype, the advertisement it’s not what they look like.

I’m just gonna say. The stay was awful nothing was there Entertaining the bathroom toilet ran all night. The covers on the bed was nasty. Had a kitchen nothing to eat on no table. The stairs was awful to climb to get to the room no elevator heart furniture to sit on. You get better service at a hotel than a condominium resort as what I supposed to have been in. No Jacuzzi as they advertised is outside by the swimming pool and was not working

winter vacation

if you are planning to stay here in winter time I don't recommend this place, first there is no hot water only for two people after two people taking shower hot water is gone. very outdated apartment , table was broken, bed very uncomfortable, we had no cable for 3 days after i made a big complain someone came out and fix it. after being there I started reading other people review and i notices this were the same complain , so bottom line is not a nice place for winter stay

Gatlinburg Summit stay

At best, it was a place to sleep at night. Furniture was old & broken, area rug was filthy, the dining table from the pics had since been broken, discarded, but not replaced. Mildew on the shower curtain, you had to jiggle the handle on the toilet to get the tank to refill.

High up on the mountain

This is a ways up the mountain which is a beautiful (and a little nerve racking) drive. The chalet is a little more dated & not in the best of shape as it appears in the photos. It can definitely use some upgrades & TLC. Only one of the 4 lights in the kitchen fixture worked. It met our needs though as a place to sleep so it was just fine. We slept a family of 6 here (kids from 2-7) and it was just fine. There are bears that’s for sure! We saw some coming up the mountain.

Worst Stay EVER

There was NO wifi, NO internet, NO cable...just a blank TV to stare at! NO table to eat at....on the THIRD floor with NO elevator....indoor hot tub and pool CLOSED....also on top ofna mountain with TERRIBLE roads very steep! Their customer service sucks and will not return my calls! Please dont waste your time here!
