Once again, we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We had a lot of rain during our stay, but that was OK since we had the indoor pool. The kids loved it!! Anytime we had a minor issue we were able to communicate with the owner or designated staff to quickly address and rectify any issue. They were very accommodating!! We are already looking forward to our next stay at this beautiful house!

It was a wonderful rental for families. The house was great but what made it really awesome was the mini golf, pickleball, par 3, catch and release pond. The kids also loved the pool is was the perfect size for our four kids.

Dear Jim, I am surprised at your rating. I understand that the pool alarm malfunctioned a couple of times (things that are not foreseeable) and was repaired within a few hours, was a major disappointment. But with a 20% refund and 20% discount for future bookings, you expressed your satisfaction and even stated that your family really liked the amenities and are considering to come back. Unfair rating!

The layout of the house was great for our extended family of 7 adults and 3 children. The location was fabulous with lots to do: the indoor pool, hot tub, pool tables. Right outside of the house there were tennis/pickle ball courts, mini golf, a 9-hole family-friendly golf course, and the lake. The roads in the development were good for kids to ride bikes on and to walk on. The nearby state parks were also great.

My wife and I have a two year-old boy and a four year-old boy and they absolutely loved the house. The indoor pool is amazing because half of our vacation it rained so it’s a great amenity to have the option to still be able to do stuff while you’re unable to go outside. In fact when we rented a boat and went out on the lake, all they wanted to do was go back to the house and play in the pool. It’s an amazing property that I would recommend to anyone.

The host was very welcoming and the property was as pictured. The problem was that none of the beds were comfortable. Matress pads that moved and futons that were uncomfortable for adults to sleep on put a damper on our stay.

Dear Cathy, I am glad you were content with the property overall, and I am sorry for bed discomfort. Frankly, this was the first complaint about the beds. We'll make sure to assess further. The futons in the bedrooms are intended for younger children.

Despite the weather, we had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean. The views were amazing and makes you feel secluded. It was the perfect location. The only thing I could say is we wish the indoor pool was a little warmer but we still made the best of it. Would absolutely stay again!!

Excelent place to celebrate a Birthday party

Just got back from spending a whole weekend at this cabin. Me and my friends had a great time with all the amenities (pool, jacuzzi, billiards) and enjoyed the views of the freeze lake from the cabin.

This home was perfect meeting spot for our family of 3 generations (6 adults and 5 children - ages 14 months to 7 years) to spend a long weekend. The location was perfect and the pool was a huge selling point when we booked it. It was enjoyed every day by the kids and adults. The hot tub and firepit were also nice considering we stayed in October. The pickleball courts and mini golf were just steps away and lots of small sunfish were caught (and released) in the pond which is a 2 minute drive from the property. The description of the house was very accurate and was very spacious for our family of 11. We would definitely stay there again if we make a return trip to Deep Creek Lake! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

I highly recommend this property. My family of eight had a great time! The home was clean, well stocked with linen and cooking utensils. It is spacious and has enough bathrooms where you never had to wait. The pool was a little cool but the owner sent someone to correct this in a very timely matter. Kudos to him. There was never a dull moment with the amenities provided. We had pool table rivalries. Family hot tub and fire pit talks and swimming pool volleyball game until 4:15 a.m. on Christmas Day. The house is located a short distance from a movie theatre and Walmarts for all your shopping needs in addition to a beverage store for adults :). Blackwater State Park, which has the longest sled run on the East coast is only about a hour away. What a blast! Definitely will return.

perfect place for families!

Our group of 7 (4 adults, two toddlers and an infant) had an awesome time at this place! the house was exactly as advertised with plenty of space for the kids to run around. The pool was clean and a great temp and the kids didn’t want to get out. Hot tub was so nice to enjoy after the kids had gone down for the night. Easy drive to get to Wisp, restaurants, etc. Would stay here again and bring a few more friends or family!

Great Place to Vacation with Kids

Great place for a vacation with kids. With the indoor pool, the mini putt-putt right next door, the free tennis courts across the road and a beautiful State Park 10 minutes away, it was a great weekend away with friends. We had a large group with 7 adults and 6 kids and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms to go around and a dining room table big enough for all of us. Highly recommend. We had a great time.

We take our children and grandchildren to DC Lake every summer. We try different homes and different areas. We were very pleased with the home and the layout.
