En härlig tre sovrum stuga med ett allrum, vardagsrum på andra våningen, gas spis, kabel-tv, tre däck, och gångavstånd till stranden, centrum och restauranger.

En dubbelsäng i vart och ett av de tre sovrummen med takfläktar i varje rum. Vardagsrummet på andra våningen har en futon och en soffa att sova på. Familjerummet på första våningen har en utdragbar soffa med en full size-säng.

Ett hörn hem i Port Austin Village, med en freat utsikt över sjön från köksbordet, i Bird Creek Uppdelning tvärs över gatan från Lake Huron. Ligger 2 timmar norr om Romeo utanför Van Dyke 53 Hwy.

Njut av bondens marknad varje lördag (Memorial helgen-oktober) från 9:00 till 1:00 erbjuder färskvaror, desserter, sylt, blommor, hantverk, snickeri, böcker, antikviteter, raffles och musik.

Hyrs veckovis under högsäsong juni-augusti. Finns för helger under lågsäsong. Om stugan är önskvärd för en helg under högsäsong, ring två veckor innan för tillgänglighet.

July vacation

The house is spacious and well kept. The front porch and backyard are great and full of seating as well. Comfortable beds and the location was perfect and close to town. Towels for showering could use an update and an increase in quantity.

Great place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wayne's home and in Port Austin! The home is clean and spacious, and we enjoyed time out on the deck. Port Austin is a cozy little town. The home is within walking distance of both public beaches, restaurants, and shops -- including the ice cream shop and the donut shop : ). If you don't kayak to Turnip Rock, you can charter a boat to see it. I didn't figure that out until midway through our stay. Our captain was very informative on the history of Port Austin, the lighthouse, Turnip Rock, and the Pointe Aux Barques area. Overall a relaxing vacation in a comfortable home!

Morrison family reunion

Oh my , it was such a wonderful reunion. We had 3 sisters and 1 spouse staying in the house. One brother and his wife camped in a beautiful campground on the water 100 min. away. We shared our meals in a beautiful kitchen in the house. The most remarkable thing about the community was how safe and genuinely friendly the people are in the community. The house faces the water with a cozy front porch. We rented bikes and biked to the town of Grindstone. We all felt relaxed and refreshed when we left.

Comfortable home, convenient location.

Comfortable, well equipped home within walking distance to the beach and the shores of Lake Huron as well as the town of Port Austin. The beds are super comfortable and the downstairs shower has fabulous water pressure. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans for preparing meals. The front porch has a view of Lake Huron and the back deck is set up with a table and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. There is a lovely wooden table and chairs inside in the dining area. We loved the screen doors; the front door has a pocket screen door and the back door has a sliding screen. When both are open there is a delightful Michigan breeze throughout the downstairs. Thank you, Wayne, for your generosity in opening your home so we could enjoy the Port Austin area.

Beautiful home!Comfortable,clean and spacious !

Wayne’s home was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed and plenty of room. We enjoyed walks to the beaches and cute shops in town, kayaking, Port Crescent and star gazing.Family time around the fire pit talking about our adventures was priceless.

Excellent Time at Great House

Our family had a great stay at this house. The location is fantastic, walking distance to downtown Port Austin, walking distance to city park beach. The house was very clean and much bigger than the pictures show on the VRBO website. A tornado went thru the town the night before we were suppose to check in. The owner did a great job of communicating with us about the power coming back on. We had to delay our check in by one day, which was understandable. The owner refunded the night's stay. I would recommend this house, a great value and a fantastic property.

Awesome house!!!

It rained the whole time, but we still had a blast! Awesome house, tons of room to hang out- front porch was AMAZING with the roof over so we could enjoy being outside without getting rained on. I will definitely rent this property again! The owner was also amazing! Highly recommend!!!!!

Fully equipped home in accessible to beach and town center

The house had everything we were looking for. Within walking distance of sandy beaches, small town center and place to rent kayaks. Our young adult guests made a fire in the fire pit every night. We also gathered on the front porch in the afternoon and on the back porch for a dinner at a large round table. My husband and I appreciated the upstairs area where we had our bedroom, own bath and a sitting area from which we could step out unto our own balcony. We would definitely rent this home another summer.

Port Austin Gem

The place is clean, and bigger then it looks. Back deck in the morning for coffee is very nice with a table to eat at. The front porch is big and a view of the water made it a common start of my day. The fire pit and rock wall is beautiful.

We build our dream home and now wish to share it with a few people. It's filled with hardwood floors in the main areas and carpet in all the bedrooms. A second floor TV room for kids or quite reading time. Lots of Windows & fans in every room keep our place cool during the day. Decks in front and back allow for views abound in beauty.

This property is in a paved sub that is walking distance to public access, town and beach, or fishing and swimming. Gentle breese off the water and great view from the front porch overlooking the water. No fast food or traffic jam here.

Simple and respectful neighbors with quite and peaceful surroundings. Proud to say we keep it clean. Very quite area in the evenings. Quite time is 10 pm. If you have a fire in the pit - keep in mind that your voices travel vary clearly.
