Du kommer att Àlska vÄr rena 4-sovrum / 2 badstuga lika mycket som vi gör! Fullt fylld med allt du behöver frÄn krukor och kokkÀrl hela vÀgen till en strandfilt. Koppla av och Àta middag pÄ vÄrt dÀck eller ha cocktails pÄ den frÀmre skÀrmad verandan - bÄda med utsikt över sjön tvÀrs över vÀgen (inte direkt pÄ vattnet). GÄ till Farmer's Market och restauranger i stan, Paks Cafe och Beer Garden, kajakuthyrning, marina och State Harbor pÄ nÄgra minuter. Bird Creek Park och Beach ligger precis i vÄrt omrÄde. GÄ bokstavligen överallt!

was a perfect setting for the 4 of to have a reunion. Across the street was a beach access , and all the descriptions were true. Highly recommend this as a stay in Port Austin!

This was an awesome place to stay while in Port Austin, really close to the town and the beaches loved spending time in the screened in porch. 4 adults and 3 kids fit easily.

We loved the location and well stocked kitchen. The deck was great and there was plants of space to host our larger family for dinners. Check in and out super easy and owners very responsive.

This house is well stocked with needed supplies and also clean. It is a very easy walk to a nearby beach that was not busy while we were there during early August. You can also easily drive to several other beaches within 10 minutes. The host is responsive and helpful. If you have a little down time at the house you can also try to solve some mysteries. It is a great place to relax! I would definitely book this place again!

Excellent stay

Enjoyed the property very much. Walkable neighborhood and easy to catch sunsets at Bird Creek. Host communicated to perfection. Will likely book again when we return to the area.

Escape to serenity

My grand children, two thirteen year old boys and one 11 year old girl and I hold what we fondly call Grammy Camp each summer. The cousins get some extended time together and I get to enjoy exploring our state with them. This cottage was perfect for us, everyone got their own room, 2 bathrooms (need I say more?), and the kitchen was so well equipped for anything we might have wanted to cook! I especially enjoyed the screen porch in the mornings for a peaceful cup of coffee, we also used the porch to do some crafting (painting stones with paint pens, no mess!); the dvd selection is epic, and later in the evenings we enjoyed a fire outside in the fire ring. We walked several times down to Bird Creek Park, my distance runner grandson did his daily runs on the peaceful streets and sidewalks, and we found many places to explore within a 30 minute drive. The owner supplied an ample number of towels, and was quick to reply when contacted.

Relaxing location.

The home was nice but it could have been cleaner. The edges where the walls hit the floors in the bathrooms needed a good scrubbing. Also the window edges in the sun porch were very dirty. The coffee maker was left dirty and full of grounds. The giant trash can in the kitchen was unnecessarily large and a little stinky. The views of the lake were awesome though.

Perfect for a getaway

Girl's getaway weekend

Wonderful clean and roomy cottage. Nice location, we enjoyed walking to the beach and Farmer's Market. We also liked having dinner on the spacious deck view of the lake.

Perfect Weekend Getaway Home

The house is located less than a five minute walk to the downtown area of Port Austin and is perfect for a quick weekend getaway from the suburbs. It worked great as a place to visit sites around the thumb of MI.

Turnip Rock adventure

The property was each to find, clean and well maintained. We liked the location because it a short walk to the kayak rental and downtown. We would definitely rent this place on our next visit.

30 hour hop into Port Austin

Perfect location for our needs! Horseback riding, Turnip Rock pontoon tour, Sunset on the beach and Dark Sky preserve! Everyone slept great!
