Vårt perfekta, lilla hus rygger bekvämt till Iron Bell Trail. Beläget på ett stort privat parti på en lugn gata och gångavstånd till restauranger, barer och affärer. Vi köpte hemmet i maj 2018 och avslutade just en omfattande renovering från golv till tak. Varje inslag i hemmet har medvetet valts; föra en Arizona-modern bondgård vibe till snöbältet i Upper Michigan. Nya skiffer rostfria vitvaror, diskbänk i lantgårdstil, slaktblock bänkskivor, restaurerade trägolv och en kaffebar konverterad från en antik spis i källaren! Den stora verandan har en gunga, gungstolar och en vintage konsol-skivspelare och radio. Det bakre däcket lades till för ytterligare uteservering; ett utmärkt ställe att koppla av med ett glas vin eller kaffe och njuta av det vackra landskapet och djurlivet. Vi är inte i området på heltid så vi ville dela vårt mysiga utrymme med andra!

Cozy Bungalow in Ironwood

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The owner was friendly and responsive making the check in process a breeze. Great location with easy access to Hwy 2 and Hwy 51 and shopping nearby. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Cozy, quaint, and clean!

Michelle is an incredibly talented host! The house was immaculate and so organized. The decorating and updates are fabulous! The kitchen is so well-stocked and has better utensils and gadgets than we have in our own kitchen. It had everything we needed and more. Exceeded our expectations. We had a perfect weekend getaway at this adorable, lovely home!

Clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated that it was spotless and had higher-end furnishings. Comfortable beds, soft towels and smelled wonderful. Michelle was very quick to respond to questions and the extra touches made us feel very welcomed and special. Top-notch hospitality. She cares about her guests and it's clear that she's committed to providing an exceptional experience. Most well-stocked kitchen of any rental I've stayed in. Lovely deck with tree-lined view. Fantastic value for a luxurious stay.

Best Ski House "Up North"

Our family feels like this house is our "home away from home," as we come back each ski season to this wonderful home up North! Michelle is the most welcoming host with great communication, helpful information, availability for questions, and every detail covered to make the stay perfect. Great place for ski trips as the front porch is perfect for gear and ski boots, and the house is an easy drive to local hills. We love the cozy feel of Michelle's house and appreciate that she has thought of everything a guest will need - plus all the extras waiting for you upon arrival - coffee bar, snacks, and even home-made treats!

Cute and thoughtful

Cute and very comfy house. Very clear that every detail/need had been anticipated thoughtfully. The wine/coffee/tea/hot cocoa was a big hit with our family. My son had forgot his toothbrush and even that was anticipated and we easily found a pack of new toothbrushes under the bathroom sink. Love this place.

Great experience

They have thought of everything and provided it for you in this cozy space, full of character and fun details. Communication was excellent, driveway was plowed right away through two days of blizzard, sauna/shower such a luxury, the location is excellent for accessing all of the nearby adventures. We will stay again.

Highly recommended

Maria's house is well furnished, clean, and comfortable. She was great with communication. Her attention to detail is amazing, from the decor to the amenities. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. The sauna is an extra perk. If you are looking for a vacation stay that feels somewhere between the comforts of home and a peaceful oasis, this is it.

Cozy home with sauna and coffee bar

This was our second stay. We came to cross country ski and the home is close to many trails. The home is cute, cozy and very clean. We especially enjoyed the sauna and coffee bar after a day on the trails. The host was easy to communicate with and the check in went smoothly. We would come back again.

Such a great place!!

We came up to the area to take my daughter skiing. This house is nice and close to Powderhorn! We were close to some great places to eat as well. The house was super clean and decorated so nicely!! The sauna was great after a cold day outside. We are already talking about when we can come back and will definitely stay here again!!

Cozy House

The house was a convenient base for exploring area cross country ski trails. The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed using the sauna after spending all day outside. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking yummy meals.

Cross country ski weekend

The house is in a great location for skiing at ABR and Wolverine ski trails. The kitchen has everything you need and there are many great restaurants in the area. Beds are super comfortable and the house is always clean. Michelle is a great host.

Perfect stay for our family of 4. Excellent location on the ATV trail!

My family of four and I were looking for a place to stay for our UTV trip and this was the perfect spot! The location is excellent for easy trail access, yet it’s still a very quiet neighborhood. It’s also close to restaurants or places you’d need to go in town. The home was so clean and very tastefully decorated and remodeled. We just loved it! The vintage stereo/record player and the sauna were awesome perks. They have everything we needed for our stay. Melissa was very communicative and helpful. We would love to stay here again and I truly hope we do, as we love riding the trails in this area. I can’t thank you enough for letting us stay in your beautiful home, Melissa. It was so lovely!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We had been looking in the area for over a year for a small home to use when visiting family in Ironwood. We immediately fell in love with this little house. It had been in the same family since 1910 and the care and pride of ownership through the years was so evident. It was a bit outdated with loads of dark paneling, low ceilings, and even vintage gold carpeting! but it definitely had 'good bones' . This happy little house just needed a well deserved facelift. We're so pleased with the results and hope you enjoy just as much as we do!
