Detta vackra och rymliga 2 300 kvadratmeter hem ligger bara 25 minuter från Wolf Creek Ski Area och ligger i Rio Grande Country Club i South Fork. ATV-vänligt Det stora sovrummet ligger på bottenvåningen med en king size-säng och badrum i full storlek med jacuzzi och TV. Övervåningen erbjuder: loft med dubbelsäng och kontor; sovrum 1 har en queen size-säng och TV; sovrum 3 har en dubbelsäng och 2 enkelsängar. Alla handdukar och sängkläder är möblerade. Tvättstuga med tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Fullt utrustat JennAir-kök. Matsalen erbjuder plats för 6 plus två i sit up bar. Front har en vacker utsikt över golfbanan. Stor bakre veranda har utsikt över Alder Creek & utsikt över bergen med full privat tillgång till floden. Det finns en extra täckt veranda med både golfbana och utsikt över bergen. Family trip

The listing accurately described the house. We were not able to access the hot tub at the club house. Apparently there was a maintenance issue. We did have one issue arise during our stay. The owner responded quickly and we got it resolved. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

A very Merry Christmas

My fiancé, myself and her 2 boys decided to have a guaranteed white Christmas and came to South Fork for close access to Wolf Creek Ski Resort. We found the house in South Fork on VRBO and thought it looked perfect for our Christmas vacation. The house was amazing...very nice, everything modern and updated. It was very nice and in a picturesque area. We had a great time and had all the comforts of home. The property manager (Joyceann) was very nice and very responsive to all our questions. The only negative was that there were several dead bugs and spiders/spider webs in the master bedroom which freaked out my fiancé as she is very scared of spiders. It wasn’t a big deal but the cleaning crew could do better at vacuuming around the bedroom furniture and behind the bed. But otherwise nothing a little bug spray won’t cure. Overall though we were extremely happy with the house, the neighborhood and the value. It’s only about 25 minutes to Wolf Creek for skiing but the scenery is really amazing and the people are very friendly and nice. I recommend South Fork and this property in particular for an amazing, relaxing and peaceful vacation.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed 4 nights and saw over 200 deer! The home was exactly as described and completely met our expectations. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Great property and stay!

This property was a fantastic stay for my family of 4 and in-laws. It was quiet, but only minutes away from everything in South Fork. We had so much fun skiing during the day, then relaxing at the cabin in the evening. We would definitely stay here again!

Family ski trip

Great house! Lots of room for all of us. Convenient to town and Wolf Creek. Very comfortable. Only trouble we had was the address didn’t come up in our maps and there wasn’t a street sign for Hogan Lane. We found it following the street directions and matching the picture from the listing.

Mountain Vacation

Property was as advertised. Close to golf course, town and numerous activities. Home could use a deep cleaning and a screen on the upstairs window that vents the 3rd bedroom, very hot in that room at night. Clothes dryer doesn't get very hot and pots and pans where showing their age. Property Manger and Owner responded quickly to any questions/problems.

Family Reunion

Had an amazing stay in beautiful South-Fork. This cabin had everything we needed and more. Very centrally located. Mr.Winter’s was VERY accommodating.& went above & beyond to make sure my family was taken care of for golf & fishing at the local club. ( also gorgeous) The cabin is decorated beautifully. A nice huge kitchen table that we had breakfast at each morning... a Grill, and the latest in kitchen appliances.. & the beds were all very comfy. His neighbor in the attached cabin (2) completely separate dwellings...was so sweet, greeted us when we arrived & we never heard from him again. The owner has rules & instructions posted in certain areas & as the description says,there are cameras at all entrances.

Keven was great! We had an emergency during our stay and he was very accommodating. Very nice house. Lots of room for 8 people. I never felt crowded. Very clean and well appointed.

Absolutely stunning!

Joyceann and Keven were wonderful people to book a VRBO through! The house was very clean and they had all the utensils we needed for cooking. Access into the house was very easy. We would definitely come back here to stay! The fireplace was absolutely wonderful especially after a day of riding out in the cold! Also, was very nice to have dish TV to relax and not have to worry about finding channels like you would at a hotel.

Beautiful home in beautiful setting

Being hosts ourselves, we have high standards for VRBOs. This place exceeded our expectations - the home is beautiful and full of extra little surprises. We especially appreciated the toys for our son (who loved hiding out under the stairs!). Well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, super fast wifi! The location is a great launching out point for many places - we visited the Great Sand Dunes and Creede (as well as coming from Durango which is a really nice weekend getaway distance). I hope we have reason to be back again soon! Thanks!

Safety Issues and Lots of Bugs

This property was a high quality build with nice furnishings and a good location. However, it was not as clean as expected. LOTS of spiders, flys and beetles. The windows were full of spider nests & cobwebs! Expecially the high windows in living room and upstairs bedrooms. The master bathroom shower had blue stuff (probably shower gel) running down the wall/floor and a dirty wash rag hanging in it. Recliners need upholstery cleaned and wash all area rugs. BUT, the most worrisome issue is with the fireplace not venting correctly when it is windy. The carbon monoxide alarm went off for 20 minutes, and when we called the property manager he said he talked to the owner and that this was a know issue. However, he was not aware of it! This is a SAFETY CONCERN. It needs to be fixed!

So we thought we just buy a place to enjoy. We can't be here all the time, so wanted to share our love for the area with you. Hope you enjoy and get outside...South Fork area is awesome!
