Eftersom denna semesterlägenhet ligger på översta våningen, kommer du inte att ha någon ��ver dig som trampar runt. Det finns reglage med fantastisk havsutsikt från både vardagsrummet och sovrummet. Din semesteruthyrning är fullt möblerad inklusive alla kök och hushållsartiklar, en slät spis och Pergo-golv. Allt du behöver ta med är din mat. Eftersom vi är en slutenhet har du lagt till fönster på sidan för att släppa in solen också. Det finns en queen size-säng i befälhavaren och två enkelsängar i det andra sovrummet. Du har också fullständig tillgång till tre utomhuspooler och en inomhuspool i Rec Center. Great Vacation

We loved the condo. It was clean and nicely decorated. The elevator was certainly a plus. We appreciated the starter products. We were surprised to find out that the parking for this unit is not under the building. It would be nice to know that before booking. There is not much room to park a full size pickup truck.

Wonderful property

This property is perfect for a beach vacation! We loved watching the sunrise without having to get out of bed and the property was steps from the beach. The property was clean with plenty of pots / pans and dishes to cook all week. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Hurricane Debby

Despite Debby most of the week, we enjoyed the condo. Never lost power. The management co was very responsive. They replaced the toaster with a toaster oven within 2 hrs of reporting . Zip tied the hurricane shutters banging against condo and brought towels to handle water coming in bedroom door. Manager assisted w/luggage, 4th flr due elevator inoperative.

Beach Vacation 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at this property location. It has many amenities to offer such as the Rec Center, indoor/outdoor pool/exercise room. I had read previous reviews about the rocky beach but wasn't aware how many rocks there were until low tide. It may not be a safe area for small children. The overall unit was nice and had updated flooring, kitchen and baths; however, the living room and dining room furniture needs to be replaced. A four slot toaster would accommodate a party of six better than the two slot provided. Some suggestions might be to provide more silverware, a handle for the slider for the outside sliding door, pizza pan, pizza cutter and more pot holders. Our overall experience was nice and with the suggested changes I would recommend this property to a friend.

Great week!

Great view of ocean, nicely furnished except for bowls. Especially appreciated having washer and dryer in the condo. They are small stackable unit but still made it very easy to keep things clean. Cable worked well even during bad weather so it was easy to stay in. Easy drive into Wilmington, enjoyed activities at south end of island. Nice beach for walking and lounging.

Nice place but rocks

People should be aware of big rock outcrops on water’s edge. If kids or others go in at high tide where rocks are covered, it is dangerous. Can’t swim in front of condo so you have to move up or down beach. Otherwise it’s a nice place. I would rent again. Small for 6 adults because only 2 bedrooms and sleeper sofa folded out takes up living room.

Wonderful condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is a perfect place to stay. The condo has the best view of the ocean you’ll ever see. Dolphins swim by every day and feed at the rocks right out in front. I was lucky enough to see a whale while I was staying here also. The beds are comfortable and again the view in the mornings at sunrise are spectacular. Very well supplied and nicely decorated.

A wonderful and relaxing experience

When we opened the door to the condo, we were impressed right away. The layout was comfortable, the two bedrooms and baths were set up nicely, and the view was spectacular. Being on the 3rd (actually 4th) floor, you have a great view of the ocean. Being an end unit, it is also more quiet and private. The condo was very clean, although the shower in the master was showing it's age, but then again, everything rusts at the beach. We ate our dinners on the deck and truly relished the view. Looking forward to a follow-up visit. The management company was so easy to deal with, and the info provided in the app made it easy to walk right in the door. My two requests would be better directions to the unit in the building, and a new flatbed cart to haul our luggage up the elevator and to the condo. It was shot. Our thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely condo.

When can we come back?

We LOVED the place. It was one of the few places where it is better than pictures. You'd have to park a hut on the beach to be any closer to ocean. Yes, clearly we had the remodeled bathrooms. I don't know what to say without gushing. We will most definetly be back (and we have a 2 days drive) Cleaning crew was white glove spotastick. Complaints: weather was chilly..I had to talk to my kids and play games...taboo needs batteries, darn their luck that I carry dice and cards.

Way too many roaches would not recommend

We saw live roaches scurrying in every room of the condo. On the countertops of the kitchen, nestled in the dishtowels, on the nightstands next to the beds, of course in the bathroom, in both bedrooms, under the dining table. They are especially more numerous in the evening hours. Its too many roaches. We could not stay there and ended up leaving early. Its not easy to lug groceries and luggage up three floors but you hope that once you do, you can enjoy your vacation and not worry something is crawling up your leg. Also, and this seems minor in comparison with the roaches, they wrap all their sheets pillow cases and towels in plastic wrap which makes them all smell like horrible plastic and I'm sure is great for the environment and any toddlers which might happen into the gigantic wads of plastic wrap from the bedding. Management seems more concerned with managing my feedback than managing the underlying infestation. We lost money staying here and I don't want anyone else to lose their money or their precious vacation time. The place is decorated with beachy quotes and the kitchen looks newly renovated so its a shame that its so infested but I would not feel right about not leaving an honest review. They need to really get more pest control in than they already have and they seem unwilling to come to grips with the reality of the situation.

nice on the inside but outside needs help

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, we took the elevator to our top floor unit and the elevator started to shake and jerk as it approached the third floor in a very worrisome way. I called the property management company who said they would send someone over. After hearing nothing, I called again on Monday and they had no infor about my call. They also told me it was outside of their responsibilites and they would have to call the condo association which they did. Otis came out the next two days but we were aftaid to trust it again. The doors to the elevator were covered in rust, there was a hole in the ceiling where a light used to be and it just looked like it had seen better days,It meant we walked up and down 42 stairsn with luggage, groceries, etc every time we went out. We are in our 70's so this was a challenge. The manager of the property mgt company did offer to send staff over to carry our luggage back down if we wanted them too. I decided to share this as it might be a factor in your decision on where to stay on the island. Inside, the unit was clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. Having the ocean view and sound of the waves was the best part. It is just that the age and wear and tear on the building exteriors would prevent me from staying at Ocean Dunes in the future.

Many problems

At first glance, this looks like a nice unit. However, there were many problems. Among them: dryer lint trap is broken and interior severely rusted; limited dinnerware (7 plates - had to run the dish washer every day); vent fan in second bath is falling out of the ceiling; three of the four chairs are broken (this was in a previous review); furniture is very uncomfortable (we had to pad the couch with our pillows); we tried to access the storage room that housed beach chairs but there was so much junk piled up outside the storage unit, we couldn't get anything out. The unit was mostly clean. There was a line of mold around the base of the shower. And, the baseboards were nasty. And, the cleaning crew left an envelope suggesting a gratuity. The management team called and sent a text message about maintenance on the A/C. They gave the entry code to the technician, and they voice mail said "we trust these guys.". I was at the pool without my phone and didn't get the message. The technician arrived within minutes of my return and knocked. But, if I had been busy, in the shower, or returned a few minutes later and found a strange man in my unit, I'm not sure what I would have done. And, I feel they put the technician's safety at great risk. The indoor pool was okay, chilly,but usable. The women's changing room smelled like urine -- needed a thorough cleaning. I purchased the linen package but did not get any kitchen linen (dish towels). The linens we did get were very nice. The only truly good thing about this unit is the view. We would not stay here again.

We found the furniture in the living space to be somewhat “tired”, sofa uncomfortable, has lost its “bounce”, more noticeable while waiting out storm “Opelia” for a couple of days in the condo. Also, wish the sliding doors to the deck had screens to enjoy the fresh air.

A great place to stay in wonderful Kure Beach!

I also appreciate that the linens and towels were provided, so there was less for me to pack. The property is in a great location, very convenient to the Aquarium, Fort Fisher, the Ferry, and Kure Beach Pier. Ocean Dunes is always a favorite with so many amenities to offer. The best part is being beachfront. I enjoyed my stay just as I enjoy staying at all A1 properties.

Second stay at 2103C

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2103C is a very nice condo. This was our second stay at this oceanfront dwelling. Everything was neat, clean and in working order. A call from A1 prior to our stay warned us that the elevator was out of order. The steps provided a daily workout!
