STERLING BREEZE IS GREAT! VACASA IS HORRIBLE!!

VACASA IS A DISGRACE! I have been staying at Sterling Breeze every year for 4 years and we love it. The pool and facility is always nice and clean; However, I have always booked through owner not through rental co. and that will be the only way I will book in the future. Booked on VRBO thinking I was booking with an individual but it was actually a rental company called Vacasa. Our unit was disgusting. The floors/countertops were nasty had to wear socks inside but the worse part was the furniture. looked like they got it out of a dumpster, the couch and chairs were badly stained and ripped up, and one chair was visibly broken. They were so nasty my husband and I had to buy Lysol and sheets to throw over the couch bc we were itching sitting on it. Multiple fire alarms were chirping and we replaced the batteries but it didn’t stop them. No streaming in the LR and over half the cable channels didn’t work, the beds were hard and didn’t have comforters on them just thin sheets. I texted Vacasa to ask for a different room and they denied my request and said there was nothing they could do, then the next morning they are beating on my door to fix fire alarms which they didn’t fix. They also offered to have someone come clean the room so we said yes we wanted them to and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!! what a slap in the face! Don’t offer to “make it right” and not show up. I don’t need bougie but I do need clean. So stay at Sterling Breeze just not through VACASA. THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY!

Vacasa is absolutely horrible!

The absolute worst! The furniture was so old, dirty, and worn out I wouldn't have even donated it to good will. One of the stained up, ripped chairs was even broken. The furniture was so nasty that we had to buy Lysol and sheets to cover it. I mean the furniture looked like Vacasa picked it up outside of a dumpster. The customer service was awful as well. It was all around the worst experience I have ever encountered from a rental company. Complained about our room being dirty and fire alarms going off. Would not let us exchange rooms, then came banging on the door the next morning to fix fire alarms, did not fix them and said they were going to send someone to clean the furniture and rooms and never sent anyone the entire time of our stay. Absolute disgrace. If I could give zero stars I would. I WILL NEVER RENT WITH VACASA AGAIN! I love sterling breeze and have been renting there for 4 years but I usually rent from owners and will only be renting from owners in the future. I took pictures of the unit but of course Vacasa doesn’t have anywhere I can post them.

Needs updating

We have stayed at Sterling breeze many times and this is the most dated unit we have ever stayed at. Not very clean and the furnishings were very outdated.

Memorable

The condo was nice and very roomy and thankfully it actually has three bathrooms. The view from inside or out on the balcony is what makes you visit Sterling Breeze. The pool and the hot tub with the fitness room make for a very nice complex. The lower floor still gives you a nice enough view and the option to use the stairs if you so desire. I would definitely visit here again.

Great Stay

Was really worried about the bad reviews but, we loved it. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. The bed linens were clean and crisp. The sofa had been replaced and was comfy. Plus, the condo had three bathrooms instead of two! It was really easy to get to from the parking garage. Elevators were fast! The furniture on the balcony needs to be replaced but, other than that, we have no complaints.

Beautiful condo

We usually stay in a different condo on the 14th floor, but it was booked. Im glad it wasn't available because this condo was beautiful and extremely clean and very spacious. Being on the 5th floor was perfect. Great views of the ocean and pool noise wasn't too bad. Easy access to the beach and the pool was very clean and nice. My only 2 issues were the TVs were difficult to work and there were no local channels to watch live sports. Also, there are no extra blankets in the condo to put on the beds if someone is cold. Other than those 2 issues, we will definitely be back next year!

One of the sinks in the main bathroom, did not work and was leaking water all around the sink and all over the floor in which my child slipped and fell. The drawer of one of the dressers, and one of the bedrooms was broke off. The roof leaked all along above the bar, dripping water on the floor and the bar.

Needs updating and repairs

Pictures are deceiving of property. All furniture including beds are old and worn out. The mattress had indentions from constant wear and tear. And… none of the beds had comforters. The furniture and bedding desperately need replacing. Master bathroom sink had a leaky faucet and dripped all the time. The refrigerator seal falls off when you open and close the door. We had to purchase a coffee maker because the one in the condo did not have a pot. We left the one we purchased for the next guest to enjoy.

The development was a decent. The elevators had trouble working and for the volume of people staying, it was somewhat understaffed. The condo was very large and had the potential to be really nice. It was just not comparable to the other condos that our group stayed in.

Excellent location

The process of renting was easy & quick; great correspondence from the rental/lease agency. Great location and gorgeous beachfront view. The only ‘negative’ was the living room furniture definitely needs replacing and it needs a few minor maintenance/repairs, which we reported and the Maintenance worker came and addressed. We will use VRBO/VACASA again

SeaBreeze Vacation

Review of Condo 506 - Freezer door would not close gasket was broken. - Dryer took a long time to dry items i had to run 3 cycles to dry sheets and towels. I called maintenance they did not fix it. Came to my room to check the dryer and left without telling me an update. - The stovetop glass was cracked. Did not feel safe cooking on it -Water faucets in master bedroom dripped constantly -Condo was very dusty -Ceiling fans dirty -TV Remote missing in Master Bedroom had cable remote with no remote box for tv. Only one TV in the condo had a cable box that was the front bedroom -Sheets and towels had hair on them - Furniture in den is worn and heavily stained. It felt like i was sitting on the floor in chairs . - An outlet in master bedroom and kitchen not working - Scuff marks on the walls, condo needs to be painted!! -There was a mold smell in the condo. I used a can of Lysol and left the sliding door open for fresh air. - Photos missing from walls. Nails up with no pictures. -Please update your condo. The layout is very nice however the furniture needs to be updated and walls painted. Condo was not like the pictures listed!!!

Fun in the Sun

Was very pleased with this rental. Will come again. The listing says 2 bathrooms but there are 3 full bathrooms. Does need porch lights changed on back deck if you want to BBQ and a hot pad for the oven.

GREAT PLACE

This was a wonderful unit for 4 adults! There were three bathrooms which was amazing. The condo is large and extremely spacious. AND it is right on the beach - it was a 4 minute walk to the beach. The property is extremely clean and well taken care of. The pool and restrooms was immaculate. The bar at the pool was great too. We would definitely return to this amazing property.

Perfect Thanksgiving

The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed for a perfect thanksgiving week at the beach. Everything was clean and well kept. The condominium itself had a wonderful heated pool and hot tub. We will be back!

Great Girls Trip

We had a great vacation in this condo. The parking deck had plenty of room. The check in process was super easy. We loved having the code emailed to us, versus meeting someone in person the day of check in. This condo actually has 3 bathrooms instead of 2. That was a great surprise. 5th floor was close enough to take the stairs, because there were only 2 elevators.
