It is so disappointing when a guest does not seem to understand the rating system. This guest verbally gave my apartment praise yet his three star review implies problem with the stay

Everything was fine but it was so HOT in Taos when we were there the place was quite warm even with the ac and fans. Melissa was great in accommodating us with a schedule change.. I would recommend Casa Pequena

The location is perfect and the charm of staying in a part of old town Taos was the real magic. Even though I was staying longer than most guests, my small dog and I managed very well. The Host was accessible and accommodating. If you’re looking for that nostalgic feel and look of old town Taos, it is a wonderful experience.

Really loved this cute/quirky place and had great location in Taos, easy walking distance to everything but still not much traffic noise being just off the main square. Bed was very comfortable too (more so than most other places we've rented in the past) and paid city lot across the street wasn't a problem since we happened to be staying only Sat night, before Sunday free parking.

4/10 Dåligt

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing, primarily because of the filth and lack of cleanliness throughout the space. The shower curtain was dirty and appeared to have mold, which made using the shower unpleasant. The chair provided was visibly sweat-stained and dirty, while one of the two dining chairs had ripped and broken cane seating and was unusable. The blinds were dirty and dusty, and they could not be adjusted properly to block out the light, making it difficult to sleep in. The bedside fan's fan blades were also covered in dust and dirt, again unusable. There was no clean, appropriate place to open or unpack our suitcases, so we had to use the dirty, dusty floor. Overall, the condition of the space was not clean, well-maintained, or comfortable. Cleanliness should be a basic expectation of a Vrbo, and unfortunately, this property fell well short of that standard. We would not stay here again,

Quite an upsetting review. Everything was bad! I find it interesting that the guest who left the morning of this check in as well as the guest who checked in the afternoon that this guest checked out both wrote reviews praising this apartment with no mention of the things this guest complained about. I have to wonder if the fact that I was unable to offer either an early check in or a late check out to this guest had anything to do with his scathing review?
