Helt ny, Christiansted, 2 bäddar 1 bad> 1 kilometer till strandpromenaden

When we started the construction of this condo, we knew that we had to take it down to the studs. Some people on and off the island thought that this idea was crazy, as resources were limited. They were right. The remodeling and furnishing process that we initially estimated to take 2 months, actually took 6 months. Many locals and people from my hometown in Texas came out to work on it, and it took an army. When you see the final result, you will understand why.

Creating a space that is one-of-a-kind was really important to is, so we worked extensively on the design. Every small detail mattered, sometimes causing delays of up to 3 weeks for materials to arrive, or requiring improvisation. Most of the art hanging in the bedrooms, we made ourselves while waiting for the windows to be installed. We also took the photos that are displayed in the bedrooms while exploring the island for the first time.

There were many days when we doubted whether we would make it to this point, and we feel incredibly blessed to be here now. Seeing this project through from start to finish has been an incredible experience, and we thank you for being a part of this exciting challenge and adventure!
